Speaker 1 (00:00):
Good morning y'all.
It's Saturday Faithfield and Iwant to share a really quick
word.
We're in a new month, we'restarting things off, we have the
opportunity to do a restart,okay.
So I am in Psalm 37, and thisis the ESV version, in verse 23.
It says the steps of a man areestablished by the Lord.
When he delights in his way, though he fall, he shall not be

(00:23):
cast headlong, for the Lordupholds his hand.
So the first time I read this,I don't know I mean, I don't
know the first, I don't know thedate, I can't give you a date.
But I look at this verse in acouple of ways and I wanted to
share this with you.
The first part, where it talksabout the steps of a man are
established by the Lord.
When we go into this month, nowagain have here we go again a

(00:45):
new month, a new opportunity tostart a restart.
Um, you know we don't drag deadthings into new month, meaning
like if plans didn't work again, remember, as you're growing, um
, you know, as you're shifting, all those things that you know,
even some of the plans or someof the things that I thought was
going to happen in july didn'thappen.

(01:06):
That's okay, we're going toleave that.
That's not a baggage.
We're not going to bring thatbaggage into August.
But I want us to just come backinto this word, where it talks
about when he delights in hisway.
So it's not just delighting inthe steps and the things that
the Lord establishes for you,it's delighting in the Lord and

(01:28):
delighting in what he's givenyou and just being I'm also so
excited about what God has forus in this new month of August.
That means that I have to havea different mindset.
I have to change my attitude.
I have to really focus and bedisciplined in the things I got
to do in this month of August.
Okay, what didn't serve me inJuly, I'm not bringing it into

(01:51):
August, but I'm excited becausethe Lord has established my
steps right and I want toencourage you that if you have
things that you're looking to dothis month of August, y'all
this is going to requirediscipline.
It always does.
But this is such an amazingtime so spiritually you're
hearing the word in probablyevery church.

(02:15):
The eighth month represents newblessings, right, new.
There's a lot of newness thatcomes with it.
But I also want to encourageyou that there might be some
things that don't look new toyou.
You know what I'm saying.
If you were, for example, ifyou were working on yourself and
your self-care and your health, and you're still going to have

(02:35):
to continue some of the thingsthat you started, because those
steps were established but youstill have to finish things out.
Don't focus too much on, youknow, on the material things
this month.
Let's focus on our steps beingin alignment with what the Lord
is telling me.
He's going to give youencouragement, he's going to
give you wisdom.
You're going to ask for thosethings and you're going to stay

(02:55):
on track, but you've got to bedisciplined.
We don't want to go again.
You know, I don't know if you'relike me, like I kind of get
sick and tired of starting a newmonth and finishing that month
and if I can't see progress, ifI can't see where I've made some
progress, I'm not, I'm notblaming the Lord.
Oh Lord, where, where were you?

(03:16):
I'm not doing that.
You know there are things thatwe are responsible for, things
that we got to do this month, right, so that we can achieve
all the things that we want toachieve, all right.
So so the steps of the, oursteps, are established this
month.
Um, I thank God that he's goingto give us wisdom.
We're asking for it and he'sgoing to give us wisdom this

(03:37):
month.
Um, we're going to have delight, we're going to have fun in the
work.
Y'all let's have fun with thethings that he's called you to
do.
You know, again I think Ishared this earlier this week I
was talking to the ladies thatyou know I don't have the
mindset where, as someone whowas called to the Lord, that I'm

(03:58):
meant to suffer.
I'm not meant to suffer at all.
I'm his right.
So I'm going to take greatdelight in knowing that that
he's going to give me.
Thank you, lord.
Jesus, you're going to give meeverything I need at the
opportune time.
That I'm always in the rightplace at the right time.
That his favor surrounds me asa shield, that no weapon formed
against me can prosper.

(04:18):
That thank you that he's, he's.
He has already established me.
He loves me and me so much inPsalm 91 that he has his angels
to stand guard, and not just forme but for my household.
My home is an access point tohave, like I like this is how
I'm coming into the month ofAugust, so so I pray that you'll

(04:40):
remember that your steps areestablished and you'll have fun
and you're delighted in thethings that you're going to do
this month.
I want you to stay focused onwhatever it is, because we're
going to finish it, but we arealso grateful for all of the new
blessings new friends, newpartnerships, y'all.
Oh my gosh, I'm excited aboutwhat we're going to do this
month of August.
All right, lord, I just thankyou for every person under the

(05:00):
sound of my voice, those who arewaiting for a new opportunity,
a new chance, new partnerships, new relationships, just new
blessings that they'll receiveit this month, and I ask that
you'll encourage every personunder the sound of my voice that
they'll even think about tryingsomething new, a different
perspective and just being, youknow, encouraged in that area.

(05:22):
The new jobs, all of the newthings that are coming this
month.
We're receiving that.
We're receiving all of theseawesome blessings that you have
for us and we're gonna have fun.
We're gonna have fun this monthof august doing the things
because we're established.
We we're gonna delight in you.
We thank you for your presenceand your blessings.
Amen.
It's just that simple, y'all.
It's just that simple.

(05:43):
I'm wearing a huge.
I don't look huge.
I look crazy on camera.
I was, um, I shared this realquickly I was before I was.
Uh, when I was dozing off tosleep last night, I was thinking
about this this new month andsome of the things that I want
to change in my own behavior.
Um, you know, I'm I'm a reader,so I committed I have a few
books that I want to finish outin the month of August.

(06:04):
So I have that.
I put that on my checklist forthe things that I want to
accomplish in the month ofAugust and I took those things
and I'm saying, lord, help me tomake it through, help me on the
job, help me in this ministry, help me in my hobby of reading.
Like, let me finish this outand then I'm delighting, I'm
excited about it.
So I'm excited about whateverit is.
You got going on right.

(06:30):
All right, y'all.
That's what I wanted to sharewith you.
Happy Saturday, have an amazingSaturday ahead y'all.
I love you.
Remember, jesus loves you moreand I will see you next week.
Bye.
