Speaker 1 (00:00):
Good morning y'all.
So this is a little bitdifferent of a faith feel.
I'm actually getting dressedand I wanted to share something
with you while I'm doing that.
So I'm in Proverbs 31, which Iknow a lot of us love to, you
know.
Go to Proverbs 31.
There's a specific verse in hereand it says an excellent wife.
This is verse 10.
An excellent wife who can findshe is far more precious than

(00:26):
jewels.
The heart of her husband trustsin her and he'll have no lack
or gain.
She does him good and not harm, all the days of her life.
It talks about her seeking wooland flax and working with
willing hands, and it talksabout her like the ships of a
merchant.
She brings in food from afar.
Basically, it talks about herbeing a provider.
She considers a field and buysit.

(00:47):
That shows wisdom, and with thefruit of her hand she plants a
vineyard.
And talks about being a wiseinvestor, quite frankly.
So I want to share this.
Just a little bit ofencouragement.
Happy Saturday.
I'm excited about today.
Today I'm going to get to goout and spend some time with my
daughter.

(01:08):
I'm saying this is a little bitdifferent because I'm getting
dressed, as I'm talking to y'all, because I want to show you
something.
I'm one of those women who Ienjoy luxury things.
I've always loved these things.
I don't have an obsession likeI don't.
You know, I don't.
I'm not someone who has likemassive collections of anything.
I just, uh, over time, havedeveloped my own collections of

(01:32):
things that I liked, and I dotake pride in um pulling some of
these that you see me puttingon.
Some of these necklaces y'allare gifts from over time, but I
stack these things and I wearthem with pride and joy, and
what I don't do, though, is toallow myself to become consumed
by them.
So, as I'm talking to you todayand preparing and thinking

(01:56):
about a woman who's far moreprecious than jewels, I just
want to remind us that, eventhough we enjoy these material
things and ado, that we don'tlose our value in the things
that we own.
Um, there's so many of us thatare going to especially I don't
know, it's not just megachurches, y'all, but churches in
general, and people are sowanting to be like the pastor,

(02:18):
um, or the, the, the, thedeacons, um, because they are,
you know, they're coming in withthe luxury cars and they can
afford these awesome things, church ladies wearing red
bottoms and everybody wants toaspire to that kind of lifestyle
, and so you tend to then getlost in the look of things, the

(02:40):
material things, not realizingthat in order to to get these
things, there were sacrificesthat needed to be made time,
talent, money.
Some of these are just giftsand uh, and I don't want you to
lose your value in the thingsthat you own or the way that you
look based on um, how uh,successful um you're.

(03:01):
You know you're.
Again, I'm talking to pastorsand talking about pastors and
stuff, because most of thepeople I'm talking to are church
members.
Forgive me, I'm trying to lockthis, lock, this bracelet on.
So being being someone who's farmore precious than jewels is
just a reminder that your valueisn't tied up in your material
things.
That's what I want to say, andI'm saying that especially

(03:24):
because we're in a season wherenot only are we seeing so I have
all my things on now Not onlyare we seeing folks becoming
envious and jealous of peoplewho have the things, but they
also are looking for ways to getto the things they want the new
car, they want the best things, they want all these things, and

(03:44):
your value isn't tied to thesejewels.
I hope this is going to helpyou because, even as I enjoy my
things I enjoy wearing my things, I enjoy living a good life the
most important things to me isstill my relationship with God.
It's still my relationship withmy family, my daughter both our

(04:05):
girls my husband is still.
I say, my health is my wealth.
It's still having time, carvingout time.
So time is precious.
Time is a value to me.
Time is important so I cancarve out time to you know,
study and just have time withthe Lord, time with y'all.
Those are the things that areprecious and I find great value

(04:28):
in that.
And so I just want to encourageyou not to get caught up in the
what and the how.
So much of you know people aretrying to encourage you to take
their courses so you can be rich.
Let me tell you something whenyou are walking in your
assignment, you know it, ithappens with ease.
The Lord just sends people, things, opportunities your way

(04:53):
when you're operating at yourbest.
So I want you to focus on doingthe best that you can where you
are, what you have, and notworry about what other people
are doing, because, again, that's that's counter to what
counter to what the word says.
So this is especially for theladies who love the problems.
31 I love that.
It encourages us to have wisdomand to invest and to wake up

(05:16):
early, getting up ahead of theday and making a plan for the
day.
Don't just idle by.
Don't wait for somebody to comeconfirm what God told you.
Start doing the things thathe's called you to do, and if he
hasn't, there's sometimes thatyou know.
Sometimes he'll give you thedesires of your heart, but it's
not for the timeline and thereis some things that you have to

(05:37):
do in order for you to receivethat full gift.
So I don't want you to bedisappointed if things aren't
happening exactly as quickly asyou think.
But you see, all this, y'all Allthese things here, beautiful as
they are, my value is the wayGod sees me, and he doesn't see
me in any of this.
He doesn't see you in yourawesome shoes and your beautiful

(05:57):
house and your awesome car.
He doesn't see any of that.
He's looking at your heart.
He's looking at your heart, your thoughts, your deeds, what
comes out of your mouth, and soI just wanted to encourage you
this morning to be that person,to be that kind of woman that
understands, and men, that ourvalue isn't tied up that
honestly.
We are far more precious thanthe jewels that we have and I

(06:19):
pray, lord, that you'llencourage the person under the
sound of my voice to just remindthem that they are beautiful
and that they're wonderfullymade, and that you chose them
and that they're awesome.
You love them, that they arethe apple of your eye, that you
love your sons, sons anddaughters, that they're far more
precious than any jewel, anycar, any job, any job title,
anything, anything material orGod, that they're far more

(06:42):
precious in your eyes.
I pray today that today thatthey'll come to know your, your
love, in such an amazing way, adifferent way, and that those
who have been cast aside becausethey are different according to
the world, that you just wrapyour loving arms around them
today and let them know that youare still theirs, me included.
Y'all, amen, amen, all right, Ihope this blessed you.

(07:02):
Like I said, it's Saturday, itis Faithful Saturday, it's
Georgia and it's dark outsideLike it's going to rain, so,
thankfully, most of ouractivities are indoors and we're
going to enjoy time togetherwith the family today.
All right, y'all have anamazing saturday.
I hope you, I hope, uh, I hopeit's a good.
This is a good one for you.
God bless you.
I love you.

(07:23):
Jesus loves you more.
See you later.
Bye.
