Robert Policht is a lieutenant with Ladder Company 2 of the Passaic Fire Department, where he also serves on the Fire Investigation Unit.

Policht is a former volunteer chief and has taught at academies, including the Bergen County Fire Academy, and is the President of the Liberty F.O.O.L.S. He holds a master’s in Emergency Management and Homeland Security from Arizona State University. He serves on the NJ Division of Fire Safety’s Fire Threat Task Force, is a Safety Officer for the NJ-AHIMT, and contributes to the Firehouse Magazine editorial advisory board.
