A cryptic note. A road trip to Washington state. A jeep found crashed down an embankment in a national forest.
On March 13, 2000, Leah Roberts set off without telling anyone where she was going. She left a trail her sister could follow across the country that ended in Bellingham.
On March 18, joggers would find her Jeep Cherokee down an embankment off a service road in Mt Baker National Forest. Leah nor her kitten Bea were anywhere.
