On October 10, 2014, Rico Harris was headed back to Seattle after a quick turnaround trip to his mother's house in Alhambra, California. At 10:45am, he sent left a voicemail for his girlfriend saying he loved her and he was going into the mountains to rest. It was the last anyone would hear from Rico.
What follows is a series of puzzling sightings, a search that yields only his backpack, his cell phone, one insole, and some footprints. 7 days after he first went missing, a driver called in to report another sighting of Rico in the area where his car was originally located. Searchers would find a fresh set of size 18 footprints, but still no Rico.
