"How do you think society would be different if everyone was Christian?"

It's possible that Townsend and Preacher Man overthought the question - but whether that's true or not, we think it made for a decent episode, for sure! Today, an episode on God's sovereignty. Sometimes we think we've got that topic licked - surely we're at peace with God being in control. How could He not be; He's God. But then something happens that shakes things a bit... and we wonder if He really is in control - if maybe He's just been caught off guard. Is that the case? Or, ...

Everyone probably has a story that could answer this question - those things you were maybe so sure about that turned out to be exactly opposite of what you thought at first. Those lessons are sometimes the hardest to learn - but they are worthy lessons, none the less.

"Have you ever been mad or upset with God?"

Again, we come across one of those topics where the answer is obvious - OF COURSE WE HAVE! But what about the truth of being angry? Is it ok to be mad or upset with God? What are we supposed to do with that emotion or hurt? This episode might not answer all the questions, but it surely will help to start the conversation.

Believe it or not, we all have this problem. In fact, we might have more of a problem with the issue of trusting the Lord than we realize. But, there is HOPE! Let's shine the light of truth on these areas where we struggle to trust our Father in Heaven and let that light burn away our doubt that He does, indeed, have it all under control!

A personal question this week that maybe we should all be asking; who are those folks around us who just don't believe? Townsend and Preacher Man keep it anonymous, but honest, as they reflect on those whom they wish would come to understand the sweet truth of the Gospel.
