Life has a way of surprising us, sometimes in ways we least expect. For over 13 years, I found comfort and stability in a job that provided financial security and a sense of routine. But deep down, I had a feeling that it was time to move on and create space for something new. I didn't act on this feeling, and as the universe often does, it made the decision for me. Losing my job was a shock, but it also presented an incredible opportunity to follow my true passions.
In the past month since leaving my job, I've experienced a whirlwind of emotions—sadness, uncertainty, excitement, and hope. The transition wasn't easy, but it pushed me to make decisions I had been procrastinating on for far too long. One of the biggest steps I've taken is organizing an event called Muve Fest 2024. It's going to be a day filled with activities that nourish the body, mind, and soul—everything from yoga, fitness, and stretching to sound baths and meditation. We've also invited local vendors to showcase their products, including my own Muve Life Activewear line.
Muve Fest 2024 will be held at the community center in my hometown of Mitchell, Ontario. It's an event designed to bring people together, inspire movement, and foster a sense of community. This experience has reinforced the importance of having faith in the journey of life. Sometimes, we resist change because we're afraid of the unknown. But I've learned that letting go of what's familiar can open doors to new and exciting possibilities. It's a leap of faith, but it's worth it. My podcast and Muve Life Activewear are my passions, and I'm excited to devote more time and energy to them.
