34. Talk with Angelica (Angie) Valadez - Standing Strong and Staying Deeply Grateful to God!!!!!

My recent guest, Angelica (Angie) Valadez, was initially diagnosed with early stage breast cancer in 2020 then diagnosed with MBC in 2022. Angie was first diagnosed with stage 2B HER2+ breast cancer. She underwent chemotherapy, lumpectomy, radiation, hormone therapy, axillary lymph node dissection and oophorectomy at that time. Things got better! Subsequently, Angie was told there was No Evidence of Disease (NED) for the next 11 months after those initial treatments! BUT in April 2022, after having pneumonia for 8 weeks, she was diagnosed with Stage 4 breast cancer (MBC) with metastasis to her liver. She had to go through multiple procedures, including pleural drainage and pericardial fluid drainage. For this recurrence, she has been treated with 3 lines of chemotherapy and most recently full brain radiation due to having 30 tumors in her brain. But, you know what? Her very palpable positive energy and belief in Jesus Christ radiated throughout our session!!!!! Angie, thank you so very much for being who our God created you to be - an inspiration and reminder of God’s unwavering faithfulness!!!!
