John Wayne will be the first to tell you not to believe his resume and all the accolades because that doesn't tell the full story. Growing up with his grandparents because of his parents' struggle with drug use was the beginning of a life filled with curve balls, trials, and lessons learned. But John decided early on to live the life of a victor and not a victim. He determined to use each experience as a chance to learn, grow, and be the best version of himself possible; to the extent of being the first amputee to become a Green Beret sniper.
