This is episode 20. The wholefocus of this show is talking to
my mates about places that theyreally love to get food or have
a drink, and it doesn't need tobe the most fancy place. It
could just be a place thatreally means a lot to them,

So today, I'm talking with mymate in Canberra, Mya.

Hey.

Jaz (00:45):
So what place do you wanna talk about today?

Mya (00:48):
Rose 'N' Brew. It's really good. Really pink. Really pink.

Jaz (00:53):
Like, the the way they've decorated it? It's all pink
inside?

Mya (00:57):
Yes. Everywhere's pink. You walk in, and there's just a
whole wall of just roses andpink.

Jaz (01:04):
That's amazing. There's a generational gap here, so bear
with me. Does it give you, like,Insta vibes? Like, they've set
it up for it to be reallybeautiful to take pictures?

Mya (01:14):
Yes. Definitely.

Jaz (01:16):
So Rose 'N' Brew is what kind of a place? Like, it sounds
beautiful. It's pink. There'sroses. What kind of theme or
food is it?

Mya (01:26):
They definitely have, like, a lot of, I wanna say,
interesting stuff. They've gotwaffles. They've got acai bowls.

Jaz (01:34):
Ah, cool. So it it sounds like it could be like a brunch
kind of place?

Mya (01:38):
Yeah. And it's open all the time, and they've got lots of
cakes as well.

Jaz (01:45):
Oh, delightful. And whereabouts in Canberra is it?

Mya (01:48):
It's in Tuggeranong.

Jaz (01:50):
Tuggeranong. Awesome. When you go, what do you like to
order?

Mya (01:53):
I like to have fun with, like, the drinks. There's a lot
of, like, fun coffees and stufflike that. And I like to order
an acai bowl. They're very fun.

Jaz (02:04):
Paint a picture of what the acai bowl is like. What does it
come with?

Mya (02:08):
Lots of fruits. There's all different type of fruits, and it
depends what one you get becauseyou can have, like, maybe the
different fruits and then maybe,like, a topping, like peanut
butter or Dubai chocolate orsomething like that on top.

Jaz (02:25):
What do you choose?

Mya (02:26):
I just get the normal one. I think the, I think the normal
one's really good.

Jaz (02:29):
No need to add to perfection.

Mya (02:31):
Yes. I'm a plain Jane.

Jaz (02:37):
What else do you like about it? Anything else you wanna
mention?

Mya (02:40):
It's a really nice, comfortable place. Like, they're
really nice and they're reallywelcoming. You know, they they
really and the doors are wideopen. You know, they they want
you to come in, and they wantyou to have a good experience.

Jaz (02:55):
Nice one. It sounds like it's comfortable in that it's a
beautiful space, but they makeyou feel really welcome and
comfortable.

Mya (03:01):
Yeah.

Jaz (03:02):
Beautiful. Anything else we should mention before we finish
up about the menu, like any kindof particular cakes?

Mya (03:11):
I really liked their carrot cake and their strawberry iced
coffee. That was really good.

Jaz (03:19):
Oh, strawberry iced coffee.

Mya (03:21):
Yeah. They've got, like, a lot of different ones. They had,
like, white chocolate coffee.

Jaz (03:25):
Are you just basically working your way through the
drinks and food menu?

Mya (03:29):
Yes. Yes.
Like, any excuse to go there.

Jaz (03:35):
Beautiful. That sounds awesome. Sounds like a great
place to check out. And I thinkpeople listening yeah...
You've definitely given us agood sense of the atmosphere and
the vibe, and it sounds like areally nice place to go, like,
on the weekend if you wanna justchill out, have some good food,
be in relaxing, prettyatmosphere, and hang out.
