Dean Stafford; is a Digital Media Director and musician based out of Los Angeles. Known most for his time fronting the band 'Pompeii' and his current project 'Early Internet'. Dean has released multiple albums, toured the world and received national recognition from NPR, The New York Times, The Guardian, and MTV.
Dean joins My Pop Five to discuss his 'Pop Five' and how it was the catalyst for the creator that he is today. He and the crew discuss the album Clarity by Jimmy Eat World, Myspace, Ben Gibbard, Back to the Future and the graphic novel series Scott Pilgrim vs. the world. We also learn all about his experience being signed to a national record label, the transition of music from a physical medium to a digital one and his multiple stints sharing studio apartments.
