Eddie leaned in close to the Madam and excitedly cued her in.
Jessica sat down next to Johnny and combed through Victor's
file. Her eyes lit up.
I know this guy. Will Jessica really put Victor's
life in danger by telling Johnnywhere he is?
And now that Johnny's hunt is already over, can Victor handle
the threat that's about to hit him head on?

against the wall, followed behind him.
I'll go with you. Jessica got up as well.
Me too. Judy stayed put, watching them
from the shadows. She swallowed nervously.
You're in for quite the surprise, White Wolf.
Roberta. Johnny kicked the door open with

a bang. Roberta was lounging on a sofa.
She looked at him with a gentle smile.
Scott, you all worked up. How was the job?
Johnny kept staring like he was hypnotized.
Finally he shook his head and responded.
Yeah, the job was easy. He sat down beside her and threw
an arm over her shoulder. She slapped his hand away and

grabbed his chin, staring directly in his eyes.
Behave yourself, boy, People arewatching.
Johnny was speechless, but he accepted her.
Will he never want to make a woman feel imposed upon?
Jinsei and Jessica enter the room, trailed by Judy.
Jessica took the lead. Johnny, we need to talk.
What is it? My brothers are in town and

they're working with the man whohired you.
Oh. Johnny put his hand on his chin.

Jinsei narrowed her eyes a little.
She hated vampires. At first, it was difficult for
Jin say to get along with Jessica, who was a noble
vampire, but she learned to accept her as time passed,
especially since Johnny didn't like how the two women were

constantly fighting. But other vampires?
She couldn't stand them. I don't know, I'm just the third
heiress, so father and my brothers don't tell me much.
She wasn't lying, her brothers didn't tell her anything.
She discovered their plans by eavesdropping on conversations
and finding documents. Johnny waved her off.
What's the big deal? It was just a quick and dirty

job. I took some relic from the
hunters and chucked it in the sea.
Jessica continued. It's bigger than that.
I don't know what's going on, but I know my brothers are here
to hunt a man named Adam WilliamLykos.
Johnny narrowed his eyes. What do they want with that old

Johnny nodded. He looked at the floor, uneasy.

He's my father. The ladies were in stunned
silence. Johnny never talked about his
family to the women, and they never asked about it.
What do your brothers want from my father?
It's all about the alpha wolf, they want his blood.
Johnny scoffed. Let them try, My father is
plenty strong, but are his children.
Johnny's mood shifted, he becamemore aggressive and his eyes

started to glow bright blue. He glared at Jessica fiercely.
Jessica looked at Johnny indifferently.
She didn't waver in his presence.
After all, she wasn't weak like the three women in the room.
But inside, she was sad to see Johnny's reaction.
She felt this was another example of why vampires and
werewolves would never get along.
Although Johnny didn't personally care about the wolves

and vampire disputes, it was hard for Jessica not to think
through that lens. This was mainly because he
treated other women very differently from how he treated
her. Johnny might not realize it, but
something inside him didn't likemixing with the vampire, and
unconsciously he treated her differently because of that.
Jessica could always sense it. Also, she was a new lover to

Johnny compared to the three women who have known Johnny for
a long time. They'd only known each other for
two months, and since then theirrelationship hasn't progressed
much. Jincei wrapped her hands around
Johnny's shoulders, trying to calm him.
Simmer down Johnny, she's not guilty, you know that?
Johnny growl, but soon he swallowed his anger.

The wolves were very protective of the pack members.
Even though Johnny had been awayfor a long time, in his heart he
never left his father's pack. Seeing Jessica's face, he felt a
panic building within him. Don't think nonsense, just tell
me what's going on. He was a man who didn't know how
to apologize. My brothers have come to see the
ritual Lucy is preparing, but their actual objective is to

hunt the man named Adam William Lycos.
They want Alpha blood to use. They probably want to keep that
freak stable. Jessica had a look of disgust on
her face. Freak.
Johnny crossed his arms. Hybrid.
Realizing what she said, Jessica's face darkened by bad
mouthing hybrids. Did she just deny her

relationship with Johnny? After all, if they ever had a
child, they would be born a hybrid.
She continued. Anyway, I just came here to warn
you not to get involved in this matter, but now that I know that
man is your father, I think there's going to be trouble.
So now all I'm telling you is just try your best not to let
this get you killed. She got up from the couch and

hurriedly made her way out the door.
Johnny didn't stop her. Johnny.
Roberta was about to say something, but Johnny raised a
finger to cut her off. I know, I know, you don't got to
tell me. Jinsei approached him with her
arms crossed. She's the noble vampire, and
it's difficult for her to changewho she is.
Plus, like all vampires, she hates hybrids.
(14:37):
That's natural for her species. She must feel disgusted just
being around the hybrid who lives in her house.
Johnny nodded. I know older wolves are like
that too. Roberta's eyes glowed Violet.
You have to talk to her or you'll lose her forever.
Johnny didn't listen to her another day.
(14:57):
He got up and paced the room. He took out his phone and opened
the contacts tab and hovered hisfinger over his father's number.
After a sigh, he clicked the call button.
Hey, old man. Roberta shook her head.
It was clear she was a little disappointed.
Back in the vampire world, Victor had already endured a
week of vigorous training with Scarthatch.
(15:19):
Victor saw Scarthatch with her eyes closed, sitting atop a
pillar of ice. What are you doing?
Without opening her eyes, she answered.
I'm meditating, and have you forgotten, foolish pupil?
You must call me master. Victor nodded and left her
alone. His training was going well.
He had the bruises to prove he'dbeen training hard.
(15:40):
Victor fought Scathatch for a week straight and even now
didn't feel fatigued. The only visible sign of
tiredness on Victor's body was the constant stream of sweat
beating down his forehead. He progressed decently in
swordplay and in the martial arts that Scathatch was teaching
him. Scathatch didn't have a specific
name for her brand of martial art, but there was a unique
style to it. He noticed several moves from
(16:02):
famous disciplines like Muay Thai, Taekwondo, Boxing, Karate,
and he was also certain she was also pulling from lesser known
styles as well. She was clearly a well travelled
woman, but the martial art he was learning was created to
extract 100% of a vampire's potential.
Scathatch suddenly opened her eyes, possessed with the clarity
(16:22):
of a single thought. I think it should happen anytime
now. Victor didn't understand, but he
soon felt his throat go dry as he fell to the ground, writhing
in agony. Scathatch jumped off the ice
pillar as she gracefully loweredherself to the ground.
Bloodlust can drive the individual mad.
He won't recognize who is an ally or enemy.
(16:44):
A perfect berserker state. Victor looked at Scathatch, his
appearance had changed. His eyes turned blood red and
his teeth sharpened. Bloodlust raged inside of him,
more powerful than ever before. It has a stronger hold of me
now. Is it because of all the power
I've gained? Scathatch started to twirl her
(17:05):
spear. Victor lifted his great sword
and got up from the ground. He swung the blade through the
air and landed in a battle stance.
Scathatch stared him down. The witches created the ritual
at the request of the Vampire King to control the bloodlust of
the vampires who were running rampant at the time.
The ritual spell is simple. They alter the vampire's human
(17:25):
bloodlust and focus that bloodlust on their lovers.
Because of this, female and malevampires who have lost their
lovers will eventually fall intoa deep coma until they perform a
ritual with another lover. Scathatch stopped spinning the
spear and aimed the tip right atVictor's neck.
She flashed a wicked smile at him.
(17:45):
The time period for the spell tobe activated is one month.
If you can't learn to control your bloodlust in one month,
you're dead. How will Victor control this
craving for his wives blood? Will it make him weaker when
