I'm sorry, come again? Sen held his water.
Flask up so that. Desmond could see it.
He shook the flask. And the sloshing sound made
Desmond's hands twitch. He was so thirsty.

(00:20):
Sen felt a little bad holding back on Desmond, but he knew
that the rich man could easily. Pay the ridiculous price.
He knew that as long as. He acted like.
It was a reasonable request. His negotiation partner would.
Be forced to treat the. Situation in similar terms.
Sen. Was just getting Desmond used to
the idea that he was going to end up spending a lot of money

(00:43):
on top of this. Plateau.
It'll cost you. 10,000 to drink from the.
Flask, but that. Price, I must insist.
Sen didn't let him dig. His heels in.
This was a golden chance to get a.
Little bit further ahead. He had not gotten this far by
allowing opportunities like thisto pass him by.

(01:05):
All right, Desmond, you can takeyour business elsewhere.
Desmond looked around. There was no business elsewhere.
The Mammo beast Stampede was still going beneath them.
He couldn't get out, and they both knew it.
Desmond looked offended. You should know.
I've had. Water from the planet's snow
spring. That water.

(01:27):
Is worth less than this, and this water isn't the purest,
most rejuvenating water in the Galaxy, Sen smiled.
Something. Tells me that this water is
going to taste better. Come on the.
Way I see it. You don't.
Really have a choice? Desmond made a show of slumping
his shoulders defeated. He didn't want to go down

(01:49):
without a fight, but he couldn'tdeny that Sen was.
Right, this was the. Best he was going to do.
All right, fine. You strike a hard bargain.
I don't have my wallet. I can pay you when I've
retrieved it. However, I'm not one to leave
debts unpaid. For long, this was actually
exactly what. Sen was hoping for he had a

(02:11):
feeling that Desmond had. Lost a great.
Deal. In his mad dash away from the
mambo beasts. Sen's instincts told him that
Desmond. Was, as he said, good for it.
And he trusted those instincts. He shook his head.
Solemnly at Desmond. I don't know how am I supposed
to trust you to have 10,000 levo?

(02:32):
Maybe you stole those cigarettes.
And ran off with them and that's.
Why you're stuck here? I think I might be better off
just drinking the water myself. And Send brought the water flask
to his lips. And started to sip.
I'll give you double send. Didn't react triple.
Still nothing. I promise I'll get you 4 times

(02:54):
that. Sen put down the flask. 40,000
on credit, Desmond. Looked at Sen imploringly, his
hands outstretched. Feel Sen poured Desmond a cup
of. Water and passed it over to him.
Desmond smiled when he took the cup, Sen thought.
It seems like he just enjoys negotiating I don't think.

(03:15):
He cares about the extra 30. 1000 at all.
He's already gone through 4000 in cigarettes since we.
Got up here. Desmond gulped the water down
thirstily and groaned in happiness.
You're right, that is better than the water on snow Spring.
Another he passed. Sen his cup without.

(03:35):
Looking. Sen asked.
Same price. Desmond nodded dismissively, As
though it was. Barely a question, he really.
Didn't care about. The money at all?
Sen poured him another drink. Desmond downed it immediately
and passed. Back the cup.
Then refilled the glass two moretimes.

(03:56):
Before stopping. That's it for today.
He told Desmond we need to ration the water.
It's all we have. Left for now, and we don't know
how long it'll be until the mammo beasts leave.
Desmond stood up and looked. Over the edge warily.
The mammo beast seemed to rock his nerve a little.
He clenched and unclenched his empty hands.

(04:18):
And then? Seemed to make his.
Mind up about something? He looked carefully.
At Sen. You suddenly seemed capable.
Of hunting around these pots allby yourself.
Sen narrowed his eyes. Thank you, he said, suspicious.
A compliment out of nowhere. And well, it follows that you

(04:38):
would have a wide array of beast.
Souls. Oh, so that's.
What it is? He thought, but he said.
What do you want? Desmond leaned forward.
All of my things are either stored back at home or destroyed
by the mammal. Beasts, I feel.
Uncharacteristically vulnerable.Usually I'm quite.

(04:59):
Formidable Sen was not. Quite sure he believed.
That last bit, Desmond went on. I want to.
Purchase a beast. 'S soul from you.
Sen had expected this question as well, and right now he was
cursing to himself that he didn't have anything.
Good to sell Desmond Beast's souls.
Were incredibly expensive and. If he could get.

(05:23):
Desmond to pay 4 times what one would normally.
Cost. He pushed the thought out.
Of his mind, unfortunately, despite all the primitive.
Creatures he had killed recently.
None of them had. Dropped a beast's soul.
Sen's eyes flashed to Mauser. The cat beast.
Sat nearby licking its. Paw oblivious the dust.

(05:43):
Kicked up by the mammo. Beasts below them.
Kept sticking to Mauser's fur, making its bath an impossible
task. Sen smiled, the thing was
starting to grow on him. Luckily he didn't have to
consider it. Desmond saw his look and said.
I'm not buying that thing. You're a good salesman, but I
have to draw the line somewhere. That settled it.

(06:06):
He would. Just have to find something else
to sell. I have jerky primitive Desmond's
side. A big step down from a beast, so
ah well. Such is life.
I will make do. Let me see this primitive jerky.
Zen managed. To sell the jerky out the

(06:28):
outrageous. Price of 10,000 per piece.
Desmond complained and they negotiated.
But afterwards he ate the jerky. With an amiable grin on his face
and another lit cigarette dangling from his mouth, Mamo
Beast Heard eventually moved on and the rumbling finally
stopped. But when Sen and Desmond looked

(06:49):
down, they found that a small portion of the beasts had stayed
behind and were simply grazing beneath them.
Do you think we can sneak past them?
Desmond asked. Not likely.
That Stampede would have flattened anything we could hide
behind. And if they?
Saw us, we'd be. Surrounded, Sen started

(07:09):
examining their surroundings. Desmond followed him.
But we can't stay here. Sen found a.
Crack in the Cliff and felt it with his fingers.
You're right, we. Can't.
That's why we have to climb Desmond.
Paled. He was a poor climber, as Sen
had already witnessed on mountain hunts.

(07:30):
Like the ill-fated. One he had recently organized, a
scout party would generally set up ropes and mark paths hours
before Desmond would even arriveon the scene.
Sen looked at him. You think you can't handle it?
I couldn't. Climb that vine earlier because
of how? Long I had been running.
For now that I'm recovered, I should be able to take care of

(07:52):
myself. Sen looked doubtful.
But. There wasn't another way around
it. He realized.
That he had become very accustomed to being alone out
here. It was hard to have someone else
there slowing him down. But then Sen decided, no, I
won't look at it that. Way this is.
Another opportunity to advance. Just another obstacle.

(08:15):
I'll figure out how to make thiswork.
Sen had to let Desmond go first. He didn't trust that the weaker
man wouldn't slip and fall if that happened.
Sen wanted to be able to catch him.
Dead men can't pay bills after. All but if.
Desmond went first. Sen had to examine the
trajectory of the climb before they even left the ground.

(08:38):
They needed Sen's intuitive readof the many cracks and crevices
that mark the. Cliff if they.
Were going to make it all the way.
Up. It was far too easy to start a
route. And only halfway.
Through to realize that. It was a dead end all along.
Luckily Desmond was great at following directions.
Sen had to give credit. Desmond knew how to use.

(09:01):
The help of others. To its maximum benefit.
Years of learning. Had made Desmond great.
At just that. Learning, he managed to memorize
the route up the mountain on Sen's first repetition.
And so they began to climb. Things went according to plan,
and they made good time traversing the rocky landscape.

(09:21):
Desmond impressed Sen, but not as much as Sen impressed.
Desmond. Desmond watched his companion
plan their next route as they rested on a ledge.
The man didn't even seem tired. Desmond on the other hand.
Was exhausted his arms. Ached, and his fingers were
almost numb from anxiously gripping the mountain.
'S face, he said. Sen What's your?

(09:44):
Secret, have you already? Maxed out on Mutant Geno points,
but obviously Sen couldn't really tell him the.
Secret. The two secrets really He.
Couldn't tell him that he was the infamous warrior and thief.
Dollar that he. Was wanted by the sons of Heaven
and he definitely couldn't tell him that he was in possession of
a stone that could evolve. The creatures that ate it.

(10:07):
Instead, he simply chose to ignore the question.
We need to keep moving. Are you all ready?
Desmond shook his hands out. If I have to be, show me the
way. The two continued up the
mountain. Desmond tried incredibly hard to
stay at the same pace. But it was.

(10:27):
Clear that his energy was beginning to sag, Sen turned to
him and. Suggested Hey just.
Let me scout on ahead. Desmond looked at him seriously.
You won't forget about. Me with all the money you owe
me, Not a chance in the world. This seemed to satisfy Desmond,
and Sen turned and began to explore.

(10:47):
Ahead. Now that Sen didn't have.
To wait for Desmond he could letloose, he used his ghost haunt.
Ability to find hand holds he would not have noticed with a
speed and confidence he would not.
Otherwise have. He could thrust himself upwards
from each spot, knowing. Exactly where to place?
His hand to resume connection tothe Cliff, Desmond watched in

(11:10):
amazement as his new friend shotup the Cliff face.
Soon, though, Sen was behind an outcropping and out of view from
Desmond. Sen then noticed a very large.
Plateau that was previously not visible.
It was oddly shaped, very. Round and smooth, it seemed to
be one large stone perched on top of the mountain rather than

(11:32):
part of the mountain. Itself it.
Seemed like a perfect. Place to scout.
Out their next move, so Sen madeit his target.
He soon arrived on top of the stone and saw something amazing.
A gigantic nest with a single massive egg inside it.
The egg was almost. 3 feet long but ever laid.

(11:52):
This must be absolutely massive.I'd rather not be here when it
gets back send thought. Back to that.
Day in the Caverns. The creatures far above.
The ground can be just as dangerous as those deep beneath
it it. Was a safe guess that this was a
sacred blood creature's egg. After looking around a second
time. He brought a dagger up to the.

(12:14):
Egg and smashed it unceremoniously.
He began to drink. Sacred blood creature storm.
Birds egg eaten one. Sacred Geno, point gained.
That proved it. It was sacred blood.
Level Sen began to drink more from the.
Egg far below. Him, his enhanced.
Ears could hear Desmond. Shouting Hey Sen, how is it up

(12:38):
there? But Sen couldn't talk his mouth.
Was full. Has Sen just invited a huge
storm for himself by drinking from Stormbird's egg?
How will Desmond react when he finds out?

(13:01):
Or two after that. Completely stuffed to be honest.
Eating that much raw? Egg was disgusting, however.
The sounds of gaining Geno points muffled the cries of
revulsion coming from Sen's stomach.
Desmond asked. Did you find anything?
For a moment, Sen was concerned that Desmond had somehow.

(13:24):
Figured out about the sacred blood creature's egg, however,
he quickly realized. That Desmond was just talking
about the path. Forward He.
Had remembered his original mission and share the new
directions with Desmond. They headed directly back.
Towards steel armor shelter. It took quite a.
While to get out of the mountains, but they managed it

(13:46):
and the two became friends on their way back.
Sen never told. Desmond about the egg, however.
As they neared. The shelter.
Sen stopped Desmond. I think we should probably part
ways now. Desmond laughed.
Really. Why do you say that?
I was thinking we could. Go get.
Some noodles or something? I'm ready for some real.

(14:09):
Food what? Responded Sen.
Pretending to be offended you don't like my cooking?
Desmond clapped him on the back. No, Sir.
I plan to dedicate. The rest of my life to avoiding
whatever you cook. But come on, let's go.
Sen shook his head. No, no.
Seriously, you go first. It'll be too much trouble if

(14:32):
you're seen with me. Reluctantly, Desmond began
walking towards the shelter, leaving Sen behind.
Sen called out after him. Remember, you owe me money,
Walker. Desmond turned and grinned at
him. I told you I'm good for it.
Then he continued on through theshelter.

(14:53):
Gate. Sen watched him go and smile.
This had been a very. Successful outing.
But not at all. How he had expected it to go.
He'd planned to head out and hunt down Mutant.
Creatures, but he. Hadn't seen a single one.
Instead, he maxed out on primitive Geno points, made a
ton of money from some shrewd negotiating, and found that.

(15:16):
Egg The egg was the greatest prize.
Of them all. It had added a.
Full 5 Sacred Geno. Points to his collection.
Now he had 18. It wasn't a shame that he didn't
get a beast's sole from the egg,but maybe that was too much to
hope for. His luck had been poor recently

(15:38):
in the beast's sole department. Or rather.
His luck manifested in differentways.
It was lucky after. All that Desmond had come across
him like he did, and finding theegg itself was an incredible
event, even if the. Rewards were slight.
He would have to. Return to his original task of
hunting mutant creatures. Soon enough, he could not rest

(16:01):
on his success, and now that he could no longer receive
primitive Geno points, more of his time would be spent
searching for rarer creatures rather than seeing every.
Creature that crossed his path as a worthwhile.
Target. In a way, it was the end of an
era. Sen reminded himself that even
though he'd be fighting fewer creatures, the ones that.

(16:23):
He would be facing. Will be stronger now.
He was able to relax his. Guard a bit and even train his
Ghost Haunt ability on opponentswho wanted him.
Dead because he was. Stronger than the things he
faced, mutant creatures were significantly more powerful than
primitive ones. And while his tools should be.
More than enough to handle a mutant creature in isolation

(16:45):
things. Rarely worked out the.
Way one imagined in the field terrain could be hazardous and
often. The creatures of the sanctuary
gained a slight. Advantage from being in their
native bio terrain when handled correctly.
Though could be accounted. For with careful planning and a
varied training regimen. Surprises were the greater

(17:06):
threat a second. Creature approaching an unwary
combatant from behind could be deadly even to the well.
Equipped a. Swarm of mutant creatures was
especially dangerous, but then Sen would pay good money for
Intel on a full swarm of mutant creatures and would have to.
Figure out a way to. Take it down.

(17:26):
It was all about risk reward, but without.
Primitive creatures to train on Sen worried he would soon get
rusty. I'm going to need something to
fight, or someone, or I may start to lose touch with my
abilities. Even a moment's hesitation on
the battlefield. Could be.
Disastrous. Everything I do should come as a

(17:48):
reflex. Sen didn't have to worry, as he
would soon learn. After waiting a good amount of
time, when he was sure that Desmond had created the proper
distance between them, he entered.
The shelter. And teleported back to.
Roca. When he got to the teleportation
center, he immediately. Saw that he was.

(18:10):
Expected. Sarah Oren stood there, tapping
her foot. Again, like she always.
Seemed to do when she was feeling impatient.
Who knows how long she's been waiting for me?
I wonder. What she wants with.
Come with me. She interrupted his thoughts
before waiting for an answer. She swiftly.
Turned and began walking away from Sen in the direction of the

(18:34):
combat training room. Well, that explains that.
I wonder if she expects me to have picked up a new skill.
Sen couldn't help. But be excited, he.
Had been practicing ghost hunt. Against the creatures that.
Lived in the Tekkon mountain range and felt he had a good
amount of control with the technique, but those creatures

(18:55):
were all primitive and he didn'tlearn ghost haunts so he could
take on weaker opponents. He learned Ghost Haunt so he
could take. On those that were stronger than
him and Sarah Aaron, who was silently walking ahead of him at
a brisk pace, was definitely still stronger than him.
His 18 Sacred Geno points were impressive, but definitely paled

(19:17):
in comparison to. Whatever she had, they reached
the. Combat training room and Sarah
tossed sent a combat jumpsuit. It seemed to be the same as the
one before, black and covered intiny.
Strips of material that. Sengu communicated with the
sensors all around the training room.
As before, Sarah brought up the floor to form a wall.

(19:40):
Between her and in her mind, theinfamous pervert.
As free. She still didn't know what to
make of him. He had committed 2 unforgivable
offenses against her and despitehis apologies, he was sure he
did not feel he had done anything malicious from.
Reports. He was seen somewhat recently

(20:01):
using a Tiny Pathetic knife to kill Tiny Pathetic.
Beetles all. Alone in the muck.
But other reports had. Him in the Sons of Heaven cavern
fiasco. She didn't know much.
About it as the. Reports contained contradictory
information, and even that was. Scant, but she did.
Know that the Son of Heaven tooka large group of warriors into

(20:24):
the mountains and returned with far fewer and with nothing to
show for it. That spoke volumes.
And the ass freak was apparentlywith them and though he didn't
return with the main group. He survived so either.
He chickened out before. Whatever disaster occurred had

(20:44):
struck. Or he made it out all on his own
and managed to make it back. She changed quickly, putting on
her own red combat jumpsuit, andlowered the wall.
The weirdo just. Looked at her and smiled.
What? Gives.
She scowled at him. It almost looks like the freak
is excited for this. So gross.

(21:07):
Just looking at him makes me angry.
Sen was. Excited.
He was just. Worrying that he had lost his
main source of ghost hunt practice, but standing in front
of him. Was the exact.
Reason. He learned it in the. 1st place
Sarah. Was shaking out her arms.
She wanted to be in top fightingshape when she pummeled him, he

(21:28):
supposed. She approached him and the two
stood and looked at each other. She spoke first.
You. Can cue us in.
Apparently she learned from the last time they had fought that
Sen was quick on the draw. He respected the change in
tactic. All right, Sarah.

(21:50):
We're going to start now. No sooner had the words left his
mouth then Sarah launched. Her attack?
She ducked. Low and delivered a.
Powerful leg Sweep her leg. Came at ankle height and she was
close to upending Sen and sending him crashing into the
ground right then, but Sen noticed.
He still. Isn't taking me seriously.

(22:12):
The blow was, too. Fast to react with an immediate
counter attack, but it was slow enough.
That he could dodge it and hope that by.
Committing to her attack, Sarah was opening herself up with a
long. Recovery time, he reacted.
Jumping back and. Over the step, he.
Tried not to jump too far away as he knew he would need to.
Grapple her with Ghost Hunt. If he had any chance to win.

(22:36):
As she recovered her form. He tried to move in with a ghost
hunt approach, as he had done countless times.
Before with the creatures. In the mountains he.
Rushed her as she stood, however.
Sarah was not a banshee sloth, and she would not.
Be so easily taken. Down.
She was already ready for him, he realized.

(22:57):
And he had. Left his guard.
Down to. Close the gap.
She had used the kick to place distance.
Between the two and keep him from using one.
Of his surprise attacks, the attack was slow enough to dodge
because. She knew.
She'd have to recover quickly to.
Respond to his counter attack. She.
Shot her hand forward, aimed at the gap in his defenses.

(23:19):
If she calculated correctly. His rush would only add to the
punch's power, and he would be unable to.
Correct his rush. Trajectory in time to block or
avoid the. Blow but.
Her calculations were wrong because Sen had a new skill in
his arsenal, most of Ghost Haunt's strength.
Is it's wide. Array of techniques for avoiding
counter attacks while approaching with a grab.

(23:42):
Sen reacted immediately to Sarah's punch, as he had
countless times in the Aries Marshall Hall under the.
Tutelage of the old devil. He reacted perfectly.
Bending his body in such a way as to subtly manipulate his
momentum, he slipped around the punch with surprising alacrity
and managed to get alongside hiscombatant.

(24:03):
I need to make contact with her once we've.
Touched the true. Strength of Ghost Haunt will
kick in and I should be able to.Stick to her.
She shouldn't be able to break free and victory will be mine,
but I have to make contact first.
He was right next to her so. Close, but his quick.
Dodge meant his hands weren't inposition for an immediate grab,

(24:25):
something he would have to remember for future fights.
He tried to grab her as fast as possible.
Against an ordinary opponent, hewould have plenty of time, but.
Sarah. Was no ordinary opponent.
He was incredibly fast as well and brought her elbow up aimed
at his. Temple the blow.
Would knock him unconscious. He changed tactics at the last

(24:48):
moment and brought his arm up to.
Block the blow. The two limbs collided with a
sickening crack and both opponents slid across the smooth
panel. Floor a foot or two.
Sarah looked up. Her arm was fine, her body was
incredibly durable thanks to training and her high quantity
of Geno. Points she was.

(25:09):
Sure that her opponent's arm hadnot.
Fared as well. She was already imagining she'd
have to call. For a doctor to fix his.
Broken arm. When she saw that Sen was
charging right at her, his blocking arm seemed fine.
More than fine. The hand sticking out from the
sleeve of the jumpsuit seemed togleam oddly in the training room
lights. She had let her guard down.

(25:31):
And he knew it. He baited a counter.
Attack as he had. Done countless times before and
slipped around it. Finally he made contact with her
arm. Now he was in control and his
whole body wrapped around. Hers he could.
Sense through intuition and experience every escape attempt
she made before she made it. He countered her superior

(25:53):
strength with informed. Tactical applications.
Of his own he could sense. Too how frustrated she was.
Although he did not need a hypergenoire.
To do so, he was practically. Roaring beneath him, her body
consumed. With rage, he realized.
What was coming before it happened?
But there was nothing he could do.

(26:14):
Controlled by her anger and shame, Sarah.
Activated one of her beast's souls.
And transformed into a massive. White creature with four legs.
And a large, vicious mouth. He realized with horror.
That he was looking at the beast.
'S sole of a white wolf. Unicorn.
The exact same form Sarah was inwhen he stabbed.
Her fitting? And terrifying.

(26:38):
He was thrown onto his back by the transformation and watched.
As her body grew until it was twice the size it was before
the. Creature had a drooling fanged
wolf's head. With a sharp bladed.
Horn on its forehead. The White Wolf.
Unicorn growled at Sen and advanced its massive.
Body towered over him. As it snapped at the air.

(26:59):
Above his. Head Sen shouted.
Hey, no beast souls, remember? That's a foul.
He almost smacked the nose of the.
Beast, but held back. After a moment.
The beast's rage. Abated, and it slowly shrank
back into Sarah. She did not look.
Tired at all by the shape. Shifting, which Sen knew was

(27:19):
extremely taxing. Instead, she seemed refreshed
and focused. She.
Slowly walked towards Sen. All right, ass freak.
No beast souls. With cool.
Calculation. She launched her attack.
Sen attempted to slip around it as he had done before, even
throwing in a convincing faint. But she read his.

(27:40):
Every move her first. Punch put his head where she
wanted it. And her second punch connected.
She found the experience. Very satisfying.
How long will Send wait before he launches his ghost hunt
technique? Will Sarah find out how he
actually survived and returned without the Warriors?
