My Warm Table, translated into Italian is Tavola Calda. These were the words my Papa used to describe a table of good friends, good food and good conversation. I always aim to create a tavola calda in my life and I hope this podcast encourages you to do so too!

And so we've come to the end of another eclectic
season of my Warm Table podcast,sharing 11 wonderful stories of
the hope which quietly thriveswithin our Western Australian
communities.

Kane Blackman, chief ExecutiveOfficer of Good Sammy, also
shared his dream for people withdisability to find meaningful
employment and for a societywhich was transformed by this
possibility.

Carla Benitez looked atinclusion through the lens of
multicultural diversity and theuntapped talent of migrants
wanting to make their new home,western Australia, an even
better, smarter, brighter placeby contributing their talents
and experiences.
Olga Hurina is one such woman,who fled Ukraine during the

Russian invasion and haswholeheartedly immersed herself
here by learning English,contributing to her community
and finding hope despite thedevastation of her homeland.
Breathing life into devastatedlandscapes was a conversation we
enjoyed with Anthony James,whose passion for regeneration
has seen him traverse thecountry speaking with farmers

around the possibility and powerof regenerative agricultural
practices.
He's seen landscapestransformed and holds great hope
for the future if we allownature to take the lead.
Getting in touch with nature wasone remedy which renowned
mental health therapist, nicolaHooper, recommended.
As we discussed eatingdisorders and the plight of

mental health in our community,especially among young people,
dan Minchin, ceo of Chorus,reminded us of the impact of
connection and reinventingsocial services so they can
inspire community and reduceloneliness among our senior
members of society.
Tamala Bosveld also talked ofcommunity building through her

involvement in creating SoulRunners, a family fun run event
gaining popularity in Perth.
Tamala is a mother marathonrunner and massage therapist who
specialises in therapeuticmassage especially for those
suffering with cancer.
Finding hope through cancer maybe a difficult quest, but our
warm table conversation with mylifelong friend, lisa Holland, a

three-time cancer survivor,left many of you speechless by
her bravery, honesty and herresilience many of you
speechless by her bravery,honesty and her resilience.
Lisa reinvented herself throughthis experience and has come
out filled with hope and anunstoppable zest for life.
Thriving in a second spring wasa fitting topic to explore
around the warm table, and therewas no one better than Lois K

Smith to walk us through thepower of reinvention and how our
life experiences can catalysecareers which can be profound
and match our passions in our50s and beyond.
Andrea Gibbs, a WA comedy actingand storytelling legend,
reminded us of the power oflaughter and the adrenaline of
bare-faced storytelling, becausein the end, it's actually

stories that bind us, and theyhave certainly done so in this
season of my Warm Table, withthe added benefit of inspiring
hope and amplifying the goodwhich sits at the heart of our
community.
My Warm Table is my smallcontribution to add positivity
