Speaker 1 (00:07):
Welcome to the Mystical Truths Podcast.
This is Rebecca, and I'm reallyglad you're here.
Let's unlock your world.
Tarot is a useful guide to helpus navigate physical life here.
You know, and anyone who saysit's bad or evil or complicated
hasn't properly educatedthemselves on it or has learned

(00:30):
from someone who has made itwhat it's not.
And I decided recently to offerthe Tarot series.
I haven't done that for quite awhile and I got to thinking
about how the major arcanarepresents the soul's journey
through life, about how themajor arcana represents the
soul's journey through life.
You know, and I always teachthe whole series from a very

(00:53):
easy perspective.
That's just how I like to breakthings down.
I like to keep things easy, simple.
But I wanted to make this eveneasier, more relatable, so I
separated out that part of thedeck and I looked over each one
and there it was.
So simple.
I wrote one or two short quotesfor each card and the best part

(01:16):
is all of the affirmations thatI use a lot fit right in there.
So this is going to be fun.
Let's get right to it.
I'm using the universal weightdeck, but you can use the rider
weight deck.
They're almost identical.
That's just my preference.
The Major Arcana consists of 22cards, numbered 0 through 21.

(01:39):
They all have a Roman numeralat the top and their name, the
name of the card, at the bottom, and each one represents a stage
in the soul's journey throughlife, which we'll also call the
fool's journey through life.
I'll use fool and soulinterchangeably, because we'll

(02:01):
look at the first card.
The first card is the zero.
It's called the full and inthis image the full represents
the soul coming into physicallife.
This is a new beginning.
This soul is full of trust.
So the quotes I put with this Ichose two for this, I am here

(02:29):
put with this.
I chose two for this.
I am here.
And isn't fun, the best thingto have, because when a soul
comes into a new, fresh lifeexperience, just like the image
in the card, it's bright, it'sshiny.
This soul, this fool, is at theedge of a cliff but looking
upward, completely trusting thatlife has his or her back.

(02:55):
I'm here, isn't fun, the bestthing to have.
The next card is the number one, the magician.
This is where the soul realizesits conscious awareness.
I create this card labeled.
The magician is labeled sobecause there's really no magic.
Everything is explainable andthis is a card of creation,

(03:19):
conscious awareness that I am acreator.
There's also the caption thatcan go with this.
That is as above so below.
As this contrasting, full ofvariety experience sparks a
desire or an idea, a preferencein me, it can be created.
So I create.

(03:41):
I create by my desires, by mythoughts, by my interests.
The next one is the two, thehigh priestess.
She's a representation of theunconscious, the intuition.
So for her, I added, I have aninner being and this is between

(04:07):
me and me, and what I mean bythat is you.
The you that you know here inphysical are just a part of your
whole soul.
You have the rest of you thatis not physically focused.
That is your inner being, whatpeople call your higher self.
So what you're doing here isalways between you and you.

(04:30):
You're not separate.
Just part of your focus isdirected through this life
experience.
So this is a co-creativeexperience, meaning you create
with the outlook you have here, but that always includes the
whole of you.
So the soul realizes I have aninner being.

(04:56):
The next one is the Empress.
She's the number three.
This is where the fool meets orrealizes the mother, or the
idea of the mother or the ideaof the feminine.
So the quote I put with this isI am feminine because we all

(05:17):
are.
The next one, the number four,is the emperor.
The next one, the number four,is the emperor.
This is where the fool meetsthe father or the idea of the
father, energy.
So with this one, I added I ammasculine because we all are.

(05:42):
The number five card is thehierophant.
This is when the fool isexposed to conventional beliefs,
maybe even religion, education.
So the quote I put here is I amcaring about what others think
or say.
Because that happens as thefool is exposed to other
people's beliefs or ideas aboutthings, to other people's

(06:08):
beliefs or ideas about things, conclusions that they have come
to.
It's a lot to take in, becausethere's so much difference in
that and because we are lovingbeings, we care.
But this is where the souloften learns to care about what
other people think, about whatthey say, which is our first

(06:30):
real tripping point.
Because when we care about whatother people think or what they
say, we become more vulnerable.
It's fine to care and torespect what other people think
and say, but when we care aboutit to the point where it's

(06:50):
affecting our perspective that'sa bit of a tripping point, but
we knew that.
Coming in the number six card isthe lovers.
This is when the fool realizeslove and or union with another
or others.
So for this one I added I love,I am love.

(07:18):
I'll go more into each card andadd some more thoughts about
that, but I wanted to just givethis overview so that, whether
you take the course or not, ifyou're just willing to look at
this as this beautiful journeyand apply it to your whole life,
life in general, or one area ofyour life, like the romantic

(07:42):
part of your life, where are youat in that journey?
Or the career or the familyevolution?
Where are you at in thatjourney?
What have you already crossedhere?
So the next one is the seven.
These are all Roman numerals,by the way.

(08:02):
This is the chariot.
This is where the fool realizesits independence, its adulthood
, maybe that it has the freedomto move and travel and get
around.
So I added to this card Ichoose my course, because the

(08:28):
full or the soul at this pointis recognizing.
I pick my course, I choose, andthere's a lot of power in that.
Now, whether the full or thesoul retains full power there
can vary.
The eighth card is strength.

(08:49):
This is where the fool hasgained wisdom, courage.
So I added here the word ease, and I have an inner knowing.
I access divine timing.
This image is where there is aperson petting a lion.

(09:14):
The lion seems to be enjoyingthe experience as well as the
person.
It looks like a happy storythat's being told there, but yet
it's the word strength.
The woman's not using whoopsand chains to tame the lion or
to have this experience with thelion.
This person knows divine timing.

(09:36):
If I'm in ease and if I know Ihave an inner knowing, then
timing will be perfect for thisexperience.
I'll know when not to pet andI'll know when to approach and
enjoy this experience.
The next one is the nine.
This is an image of a.

(09:57):
The term is hermit, and this isa person who has a cloak on
long beard, light shining.
This is when the soul starts toquestion more, realizing its
adulthood, its inner ease.
It starts to question thedeeper truths of life.

(10:19):
So I added here I am a lightthat shines.
I am no longer shining my lightBecause when you start to ask
some of the deeper questions orlook within, the hermit isn't
representative of somebody wholives in a cave and doesn't come

(10:39):
out.
It's a symbol of that innerknowing, that inner questioning
and recognizing that I don'tneed to shine my light, I can be
.
I can just be, and then I'm alight that shines.

(11:02):
The next one is the Wheel ofFortune, and it looks pretty
much just like that.
It has a lot of symbols on it.
This is the fool coming to therealization that everything is
connected and working in harmony.
The wheel is turning, thewheel's always been turning and
it's fortunate, it's good.

(11:23):
So I added to this oneeverything is working out for me
.
Everything is working out forme.
The soul's starting to see thatnow, whether the soul is
referring to wanted or unwanted,we can realize that everything
is working out for us.

(11:44):
Next up is the justice card.
I don't know if I mentioned,but the wheel was number 10.
This is number 11, justice.
The fool realizes that thereare some laws Universal would be
the law of cause and effectbalance but also that people
have made some laws.

(12:05):
So I added to this creation isfair, but this physical world
doesn't always seem so.
So this is another littletripping point where the fool
realizes that it may take alittle, where the fool realizes

(12:27):
that it may take a littlehermiting or going within or
just shining to navigate in aworld where there is the law of
cause and effect, which is agreat thing when seen properly,
but there are also laws thatpeople have made, many, many,
many laws that people have made.
And to navigate, that can be atripping point.
It does not have to be.

(12:49):
The 12th card is the hanged man.
This is another kind oftripping point.
This is when the fool realizesits limitation, its resistances,
that it's just sort of pickedup along the trail.
So I added here I get hung upsometimes, because we all do.
I mean, it's just part of life.

(13:10):
Here we get hung up sometimes.
And then I also added there aretwo lanes in this life, and
that's a reference to the twolanes analogy that I've used in
a few episodes.
That's a reference to the twolanes analogy that I've used in
a few episodes.
And when we are in thatunwanted lane we're hung up.

(13:30):
But that's okay, we just don'twant to stay hung up.
You know, it's a beautiful dayhere today in Pennsylvania and I
have my windows open.
There's a fire whistle goingoff, so I keep stopping.
There are a few people outside.
So if you hear some backgroundnoise, that's life, that's life
happening out there.
So the next card is 13.

(13:53):
This is the death card.
This is one of the two cardsusually that you'll see on TV
when they want to make terrorlook bad.
And the death card is not a badcard, it's a card of change.
Death was used as the examplebecause death is one of the
biggest, if not the biggest, change that we realize or think

(14:16):
about in this life experience.
So what is death, though?
Death is a transition, anddeath is a really good thing,
because we don't want to stay inthis physical life forever.
And that release, that withdrawof our attention from the

(14:39):
physical we don't have words todescribe how beautiful that is.
So I added to this one.
I know that everything istemporary and leading to more,
because our life is temporary,so this is a symbol for that,
but it's always leading to more.

(15:02):
Every change that comes up,whether we want to label it good
or bad, wanted or unwanted, hashoney in.
It is really good if we arewilling to look for it.
So the death card is just thecard of big change or transition

(15:22):
.
The death card is just the cardof big change or transition.
Next is the number 14.
This is temperance.
This is a symbol of the fool,or the soul realizing that by
experiencing extremes and we dohave extremes, without a doubt
the fool has come to realize andI added this quote I appreciate

(15:48):
moderation and balance.
The extremes aren't bad.
When we get extremely this orextremely that, it's a learning
experience, it's an expandingexperience.
But we do get to the pointwhere we realize we love to have
balance, we love to have a flowand blend with life rather than

(16:14):
try to hammer out this life.
So temperance 15 is the devilcard.
Here's another one that you seeon tv when people want to make
terror look scary.
The devil card is just a cardof self-imposed limitations.
It's ignorance, lack of knowing, lack of trust.

(16:37):
So I thought the saying thatfit this best is I limit myself.
You know, the image is of thisdevilish looking creature thing
and two naked humans.
They're naked because they feelvulnerable and they're ch them

(17:00):
off and walk away whenever theywant to, because there's no
devil, there's no chaining, there's no bondage, but we are
free enough to feel that thereis.
So it's self-imposed limitation, which is what limitation
always is.
So that's good information.

(17:22):
Don't you want to know whenyou're limiting yourself?
The 16th card is the tower.
It looks like a completedisaster.
There's a tower that there'sthis lightning bolt that's
coming, there's fire and peopleare just flailing out of the
windows and sailing down throughthe air.
And I really I just love thiscard because this is a good

(17:47):
example of how we misinterpretlife here.
It looks like a disaster if wewant to look at it that way,
which people often do with theunexpected or the unwanted.
But what's really happeninghere is this is an enlightening

(18:08):
bolt that is hitting this tower.
It's shaking things up becauseit's just gone that far.
Do things have to go that far?
No, but we can be pretty goodat letting things go that far.
So I added to this there ishoney in everything.
There's honey in this tower, there's honey in this experience

(18:30):
.
If we'll look for it, if we'llwait for it.
I think it's helpful to say whenyou're having an experience or
you're going through a time likethis okay, I don't understand
really what's going on, I can'tsee the other side of this yet
and it feels weird.
Sometimes it's because yourradar is picking up things that

(18:50):
you can't understand yet or youdon't see yet.
So if you say to yourself, I'mjust going to hold on here,
because there is honey in thisfor everything, because there's
honey in everything for me, Idon't know what it is yet.
This is just weird, it's odd.
Now it's getting easier, it'sgetting better.
Just because of that, justbecause of you shifting your

(19:13):
perspective and looking at thissituation that way, number 17 is
the star.
This is where.
So, yeah, I mean, the fool'sbeen through some things.
Right, there's been the hangedman.
Or justice, right, there wasjustice, there was the hanged

(19:35):
man, the understanding of changewith the death card, the
preference for balance, therealization of imposing my own
limitations, and then the tower.
Well, does life happen to me ordoes life happen with me?
So all of that has been suchgood expansion and wisdom,
gaining stuff for the Fool.

(19:58):
And if I didn't mention beforefool, the word, you know we call
this the fool in this deckbecause, not because somebody's
foolish, we're foolish as a soul, we're foolish for picking this
life.
It's not that meaning of theword.
It's the fool, the one thatjust is open and easy and
allowing, trusting.

(20:19):
So the star.
After all of that, the fool hasits faith restored.
It sees the beacon ofinspiration or realization.
So I added here life is reallygood.
This is where the fool says allthe good, the bad, the ugly,

(20:41):
you know it's all good.
I have gained so much Iunderstand things now that I
couldn't have understood withoutthat experiential learning and
I honor it all.
And you know, in this card, inthe star, there's stars all over
it there's a person there withone foot in water, one on land,

(21:03):
for that balance.
And this person is naked, notbecause of like in the devil
card, where there wasvulnerability, but in this card
because this person iscompletely okay, completely
confident, doesn't need clothes,as a symbol, has come to that
place of just love andunderstanding of self and of

(21:27):
life.
Number 18 is the moon.
And realizing that life isreally good, the fool looks
around and recognizes thatsource is everywhere,
omnipresent, everywhere.
Everything is source.
So I added here all of life isguiding me.

(21:52):
The soul realizes that all oflife is guiding me.
I also added life is a greatteacher, life is a maze-ing.
That's from the maze analogythat I've used before.
So this is instinct, this iswhat animals know.
The creatures of this planetknow that there's a flow.

(22:13):
And when we recognize that thatflow, all of it, everything
that sinks up in your day, everything that sinks up in your
experience is information isguiding.
Life is a really great teacher.
It'll get you there, whereverit is you want to be, whether it
takes you multiple lifetimes, you will expand to what you want

(22:37):
to expand to, because thephysical life here is a maze.
And in this image, by the way, there's the sun-moon combination
in the sky, dark sky, and thereare some creatures, one coming
out of water, two on land, thatare looking up at that sun moon
and giving us the indicationthat these creatures know that

(23:03):
everything is guiding them.
They're in this flow, the moonaffecting the tides, it's all
connected and they don't have tothink about it or wonder where
the guidance is.
They just be with it.
And that's what I mean byyou've heard me say before like
the birds just know when to flysouth and then back north.

(23:24):
The squirrels know when tostart gathering food for the
winter and what to do with it.
Creatures have babies and knowwhat to do with them.
They're not born with a like a.
They're not born with a book ofknowledge in their brain.
They are tapped in to what wecall instinct, which is

(23:50):
intuition in the flow.
So life is a great teacheralways guiding you.
Number 19 is the sun.
So more realization, the fullknowing that, wow, all of life
is guiding me, gets to fold tothis place of even better trust,

(24:12):
knowing that light shines inall places.
This I added the quote I am, Iam, I am the sun, I am the
newness, I am the continuationof creation.
In this image there's the sunshining, there's a young child
on a white horse, there'ssunflowers around a red flag.
It's just this happy time ofnewness, of brightness, which is

(24:38):
why a child was used, becausethey're newer and brighter.
Number 20 is judgment.
And this is not judgment in theway that we think we're being
judged or that we should judgeeach other, because that's not a
thing, it shouldn't be anyway.
That's not a thing, shouldn'tbe anyway.
This is where the fool realizesit's eternalness, it's total

(25:03):
and complete acceptance andconnection to all, to everything
, to source.
So I added here we are all one,we are all one.
The image shows an angel in thesky blowing a horn, with a flag
that has a red cross on it.

(25:23):
There are people that look likethey're maybe ghosts standing
up out of coffins.
Are these our past lives?
Are these just different people?
Is this a wake-up call?
This is a realization thatwe're all in this together,
which would make a great quote.
Here, too, we are all one, weare all in this together.
That angel's not there to savethem from anything, because

(25:46):
there's nothing to be saved from.
And then the last one is 21,the world.
So we've come to the end ofthis major arcana the world.
There's an image of a big circlehere and some symbols around it
, and in it this is the fullcompleting a life cycle or a

(26:07):
cycle, and all of the wisdom.
The symbols represent all thewisdom and joy gathered along
the way.
So I added here I am eternal, because when we complete a cycle
, another one begins.
We're eternal.
There's no hurry, there's noend, there's just more, more,
more.

(26:27):
So maybe that gives you alittle insight into not only how
profoundly teaching tarot isand how good it is and how
positive it is, but how we makeour way through this whole life
experience.
And, like I said, you can applythis.

(26:47):
You can look at this inreference to one area of your
life.
Am I in the tower right now?
Am I nearing the completion ofa cycle and in that, that's what
makes tarot easy.
You know I've only had time inthis recording to cover that
basic soul journey through themajor arcana.

(27:13):
I'll talk about all the cardsand a little bit more about how
they apply to us, to the now, toyour life now or to your future
.
Even Understanding tarot is nothard.
You don't have to memorize.
I've heard people say, oh, Ihave to memorize every card, and
then I have to memorize whateach card means or how it

(27:35):
changes when it's around othercards in a spread, because I
used to think that years ago, Iused to think I'm not going to
learn all that.
That's just too much andinitially it didn't make sense
to me.
Anyway, I thought how can youshuffle cards and bring them up?
And it's going to mean anythingfor somebody, or their future
or their now.
I didn't know aboutsynchronicity.
Then, once I began tounderstand how things

(27:58):
synchronize, now I was curiousabout the cards and I thought,
well, let me just see, let mesee if that's actually accurate.
So I started to learn and payattention to the tarot and keep
it easy and I thought, wow, Imean, and even to this day it
still impresses me how this justsynchronizes up and it is

(28:22):
really good guidance.
You know, any reading in myopinion and I believe in the
opinion of source or in theknowledge of source is not
fortune telling.
It's not future telling.
It's not telling you what to door what not to do, or what is
definitely going to happen orwhat is not going to happen.
We are forever creating andreadjusting our focus and our

(28:48):
preferences.
There are some things that youset up here to experience for
sure.
Your inner being will make sureyou get there to each one.
Other than that, your free willis whatever it is in the moment
.
So these cards and theintuition that we all have can

(29:09):
help you pick up on what's mytrajectory Like?
Where am I at and what do I?
What am I sort of spewing outthere ahead of me or creating
really well out there ahead ofme?
I believe that we should conductreadings like Source does with
us.
You're free to do this any wayyou want to, just so you know,

(29:33):
this is what it's piling up like.
If you like that, keep going.
If that's not really what youwere hoping for, here's a little
guidance about that.
Here's what you can tweak.
Here's what may work out betterfor you.
Take it or leave it.
So even with spreads and withthe cards in general, you just
each card is telling a story andthen you put pieces of the

(29:56):
story together and they tell abigger story.
That's why you don't have tomemorize so much.
You know the basic.
That's again the way I see it.
There are so many differentopinions about terror.
There are so many differentways that people teach it.
They're all beautiful.
I like the depth of things, Ilike to go deep in things, but I
don't like to complicate things.

(30:18):
Now I haven't set the date forthe series.
If you're interested in it, youcan email me and let me know.
I'll be teaching it by Zoom andyou know I'm going to be doing
a recording soon about the storyof our future, about your
future and our collective future.
And for that topic to flow, Ithought this one needed to be

(30:38):
said first.
This one, I believe, will giveyou a nice footing for that next
one, for really getting becausethis is this is an important
time for us to understand thestory of our future and what our
part is in that, whether it'sour personal future or our

(31:00):
collective future or both, because it's always both, and
the reason why this is animportant time for that is
because there is a lot going onvery quickly and that's all
really good.
But I can see how some peopleare getting spun out and we
don't need to get spun out.

(31:21):
We shouldn't get spun out if wereally want to have a positive
impact on where we're going andwhat's playing out for us.
We are creators, so more aboutthat coming ahead.

(31:42):
I wanted to take a minute and Iwant to start thanking you know,
all of you.
More specifically, you know Inoticed you're listening all
over the world and I reallyappreciate that, mostly in the
States, but in other countriestoo.
Lately I've noticed an uptickin people listening in New York,
the state of New York, new YorkCity, brooklyn, hamburg,

(32:06):
buffalo, queens, rochester, garden City, the Bronx.
So thank you all.
I really super appreciate itand until next time, if you
would like personal guidance orhave a spiritual experience or
some questions you want to sharehere, let me know.
