The loss of one child who went missing seems unbearable.  Two going missing seems absolutely unimaginable. Here is the tale of two brothers, the Palmer brothers, who went missing years apart in Alaska, with hardly any clues to lead investigators in any direction.

This episode will cover the crash of the Virgin Enterprise Spaceship, which took place 8 years earlier as of the publication of this episode. Today I hope that we can look at the term “pilot error” and understand the high level of detail and demand that each pilot has to undertake and understand that sometimes the stresses placed on an individual is too much to expect when the margin of error is a fraction of a second.

This episode will look at the events that occurred over 2 days in June of 1922.  Union workers, strike-breakers and guards came into conflict.  As a mob mentality took over men who were normally peaceful, 24 men would pay the price with their lives, leaving communities devastated and the nation in shock.

This is Part 2 of the Stayner Brothers, following the crimes that Cary committed years after Steven's death.  There will be some insight by family, but it does truly leave a question about how much, if at all, the events that catapulted his family into the national spotlight impacted his urge to commit murder. 

In my series about siblings, we will be looking at the Stayner Brothers.  Part 1 will detail the kidnapping and life of Steven Stayner, a young man who went through trauma but found the strength to make sure that another young boy didn't go through the same things that he had gone through.

Today we will explore the crash of a 1964 flight, TWA 800.  While many of us will think of the flight accident in 1996, a TWA flight of the same number crashed and caught fire on take off in Rome.  Lessons were not learned from this flight, we have to wonder what would have happened during some future accidents if these lessons had been heeded.

We'll explore the lives of 2 aviation pioneers, Harriet Quimby and Gertrude Tompkins.  One burst through barriers in a time when aviation was in its infancy, defying the conventions of the day.  Her greatest achievement was overshadowed by an international tragedy. The other gave her life serving her country without the recognition that others had.
