#DidYouKnow… International Youth Day was Monday, Aug 12, 2024. In today’s episode of NAMI Maine Talks, Deanna and Delaney from our Youth Education Team take International Youth Day as an opportunity to appreciate the young people we work with! Our recent focus groups have helped update our Mental Health Conversation and resources to reflect what young people in Maine are hoping to learn about in regards to mental health in our state. Young people are very in tune with the world around them… NAMI Maine hopes to empower you to use your voices and create positive changes in your communities. Your support is necessary in order to normalize the conversation around mental health, increase help seeking behaviors, and support each other!
