Jonathan and Desiree Beatty (Sundae) Musicians - Band

Sundae is a folk - soul - pop acoustic duo. A happily married couple of 7 years, Jonathan and Desiree started Sundae as a way to bring smooth and sweet live music to business events, weddings and parties all over the Inland Empire in Southern California. 

Jonathan played piano in his high school jazz band, sang in various choirs, and has directed music for churches for over 15 years. Currently, Jonathan handles much of the marketing and booking for the Sundae band. He enjoys teaching, songwriting, studying Japanese, and playing card games.

A natural singer, she has also sung in various ensembles, and served as Vice President for California Baptist University Choir and Orchestra. She has received a degree and prestigious award for overall musicianship from CBU. She also recently won 1st place in the Voice of the Valley Vocal Competition in Hemet, California. Currently, Desiree assists with business administration for the Sundae band, and teaches private voice lessons on the side. 

Jonathan and Desiree met at church, singing together for the praise band. They got married in 2018. When they aren't out gigging, they spend their time chasing their one-year-old little son around the house.
