Lately, I’ve been stuck—mentally, emotionally, even physically. I’ve felt lost in my job, disconnected from others, and hard on myself about the past. But this week’s Stoic reading reminded me that the things I’ve been seeing as roadblocks may actually be pointing me in the right direction. Marcus Aurelius wrote that the obstacle in the path becomes the path. What we resist might be exactly what we need to face.
This episode isn’t a celebration of having it all figured out. It’s a reflection on how often I overthink instead of act, make excuses instead of changes, and allow fear to masquerade as caution. I argue with myself more than with anyone else these days—but maybe that’s where the real battle lies. I’m learning that the difficult parts of life aren’t interruptions. They’re invitations—to grow, to let go, to start again.
Join me as I wrestle with the idea that what’s in the way is the way. If you’ve ever felt like your life is on pause, that your mistakes define you, or that change is just too hard to attempt, I hope this episode meets you there—and helps you take the first small step forward.
Thank you for listening and joining me on my journey of self-discovery!
