(00:00):
Suzanna and David, great to meetthe both of you, I must say.
Wow. Fear St.
ROM Queen delivered. It did not hold back.
I'm not a horror person and I found myself covering my eyes,
but I was all in and sold on seeing more.
Hell yeah. Thank you so much, man.
Appreciate it. Tons of fun to watch.
This movie is set in 1988 and itlooks like y'all fully braced
(00:21):
the 80s last night at that fun prom party to celebrate.
So I want to know, did you draw any specific inspiration for
your prom outfits that y'all hadlast night?
Oh, great question. Last night, yeah, definitely.
I tried to do an homage to the 80s hair with, with the lots of
Hairspray and you know, I just kind of went for it in a, in a
hair and makeup way and that wasso fun.
(00:44):
Totally. Yeah, I think, me too.
I think, I don't know, My suit felt like it was pretty dated in
a wonderful way. Thank you Benjamin, my stylist,
He's the best and I love him. Yeah I saw the pictures.
Y'all look great for this movie.Prom queen.
Did y'all watch any classic 80s movies, dig into fashion trends
or throw on some retro music to really get into the vibe while
(01:04):
filming? Good.
Question. I was, I watched like some of
the Halloween stuff, like all the original Michael Meyer stuff
because I love it very much. It didn't even really feel like
it was like in preparation that much.
It was just kind of like I'm here doing this movie and I
enjoy these movies as well, so why not throw them one?
Yeah, and I love a little 80s music.
(01:26):
I also took some inspo from likeJoan Jett and my mother, because
my mom was very punkin in the 80s.
So I have a bracelet from her that I would wear.
It didn't make its way on set, but it's just little things like
that. Yeah, I.
Don't know that. No, I love that y'all obviously
did not have to prepare to be ina film that's based in the 80s.
I feel like y'all feel it every day.
(01:47):
It seems like y'all are inspiredby that, that time period.
I was born a little late, 89, but I love the 80s so much.
Everything from the fashion to the music and all the movies.
But this one just felt like I was watching a movie from the
80s, which I really loved, really embonded it very well.
And without giving anything away, was there a moment on set
that felt a little too eerie, even when the cameras weren't
(02:07):
rolling? Just the amount of blood for
things like the sheer amount, the 10 T-shirts you need to
change into because there's so much blood you have to keep.
Remind yourself it's probably corn syrup.
Maybe. Yeah, starch, whatever's in
there. Yeah, that's true.
There is so much blood in this movie.
(02:28):
Lastly, if you had to kind of describe this film in three
words, what would it be? Punk.
Oh 'cause you do collective 3. Yeah, do it together.
We. Get punk.
I know it's hard, it's fine. It's fine.
Punk's a good one to start with.Punk, I say.
(02:50):
I say camp. Oh.
Maybe a little bit of a that's similar to punk grunge.
I'm going to. End it on it's killer, Yeah.
It's killer. You're getting your job.
It's definitely very killer guysprom queen, which is wow,
definitely transporting you to atime that I wish I was part of,
(03:11):
but not a part of this, this, this town.
It's too, too much for me to handle.
But definitely we hope we can chat again.
Thank you so much man. Bye.
