Net Cast

Love comes before Law in the eyes of Jesus. Compassion for the needs of man is a priority before compliance with rituals. Jesus teaches the Pharisees that He is Lord of the Sabbath and He wants man to draw closer to God on the Sabbath, rather than making it about perfect adherence to a set of commands. We must be careful not to fall into the same trap with the law of liberty in Christ.
