In my last episode, Michaell Magrutsche and I began to discover and challenge the definition of the value of art. This week, we continue our exploration of how it vital to have human relevance. Michaell represents that humans that we need something very different right now because we are in a consciousness crisis and there is nothing more to do but to become conscious.

We often suffer when define our success and failure based on system relevance. This is a very animated discussion where each of us challenge the other to see the limitations in our mindsets, and the ways we can be exploited when we fall into the trap of confining our creativity to produce against the system rules.

Our conversation builds on how we define and discuss art, creativity, humanity and systems from the prior episode. If you are a person who likes to go into a rabbit hole of exploration, this is an episode for you to challenge limitations.

Please visit the show notes to find Michaells’s website and learn more about his art, book publications, and his own unconventional podcast The Smart of Art.

Are You A Charlotte?

Are You A Charlotte?

In 1997, actress Kristin Davis’ life was forever changed when she took on the role of Charlotte York in Sex and the City. As we watched Carrie, Samantha, Miranda and Charlotte navigate relationships in NYC, the show helped push once unacceptable conversation topics out of the shadows and altered the narrative around women and sex. We all saw ourselves in them as they searched for fulfillment in life, sex and friendships. Now, Kristin Davis wants to connect with you, the fans, and share untold stories and all the behind the scenes. Together, with Kristin and special guests, what will begin with Sex and the City will evolve into talks about themes that are still so relevant today. "Are you a Charlotte?" is much more than just rewatching this beloved show, it brings the past and the present together as we talk with heart, humor and of course some optimism.
