Get Self Off the Throne - Podcast 388

Crucify Your Flesh! Dear gentlemen, ladies and others please get down off your throne! Don't let your mind rule the roost! If you are born again, by the Spirit of God, then your inner person or spirit, needs to obey the Holy Spirit. However your flesh, that is your soul and body, has to be constantly fed by your spirit and the word of God. As you do so, you will be able to overcome your natural instincts which are not born again. According to Galatians chapter 2 verse 20 we have been crucified with Christ. In my spirit it is no longer I that live but Christ, who lives, within me. This allows our self to get off the throne and this then allows Jesus Christ to rule in our lives. It is imperative, according to Romans chapter 12 verses 1 and 2. We must present our souls and our bodies as living sacrifices unto God. Children of God must not be conformed to do the ideas and practices of this evil world but rather be transformed to live as children of God. By listening to the Holy Spirit and by obeying the instructions of the word of God, the Holy Bible, we are enabled to do so.
