This sermon explores how the Holy Spirit empowers believers through Calling, Authority, and Assignment—the CAA of a Spirit-driven life. Drawing from Acts and the story of Gideon, Pastor Selvin Cortez teaches that every believer is called—first to salvation, then to a unique purpose, and finally to daily obedience. We are given authority by the Holy Spirit — not through merit, but through submission. This authority is tested and proven under pressure, just as Gideon’s was. Finally, our assignment is to glorify God through Spirit-led obedience. Like jars of clay, we are vessels holding the fire of the Spirit (the torch) and called to lift our voices (the trumpet) in boldness. The message concludes with a challenge: it’s not about how much of the Holy Spirit you have, but how much of you the Holy Spirit has.
