Dieter who you used to throw outMichael Denner like he's a free agent.

So like, they haven't re signedanybody on offense. What does that mean,
Well, let's talk this out.They might be saying Noah Brown and
we can find that guy in themiddle rounds of the draft. You know,
Okay, they lose Michael Dieter,but now you have Juice Scruggs and
Jared Patterson both healthy. So oneof those guys is depth if Kenyon Green

comes back and expects to lock downthat left guard role, which you hope
he does because you invested in thefirst round picking him. So you know,
I just as we talk it out, and I think they look at
it and say, all things,if all these guys are healthy, we

a little trickier because even if it'snot that one dreaded injury, it can
be to the combination makes it alot tougher for all of it to heal
because you're having to work on multiplethings at once, and if you need
surgery, then what's the time ofwhen you can do it. There's just
a lot more variable than normal,and so that's why there's a lot of

uncertainty because it's not like there's justone body part or one thing that you're
worried about, and then if theMRI comes back clean, you feel like
you dodged a bullet. So forme, it's a situation where I'm frustrated
because they've been playing extremely well.They've won three straight down the road,
they're four to one this month.That's some of the best ball they've played
all year. So let's be real, sand We knew that the play in

tournament at this point was a reallong shot, especially with both the Lakers
and Warriors getting hot in recent weeks. So even if Shingoon isn't able to
come back in the next month orso before the season ends, that's not
the end of the world. Thekey thing to watch for is can he
get cleared by the midpoint of theoff season. Similar to tari Ethan,
who's you know, recently undergone leginjury surgery first like injury excuse me?

It should be cleared by July.Can he have a full off season to
ramp up for next year. That'swhat I'm watching for. I'm cautiously optimistic,
but until we get the announcement,you're just not going to for sure.

As much as the Shingoon injury reallysucks, and even if it's the best

case possible outcoming, you only missit in a couple of weeks something like
that. Maybe it's an ankle sprainand you know, a hyper extension,
but nothing that's too alarming in thebig picture. Even if it's the best
case, just missing in for acouple of weeks, that's probably the death
knell when you're already five ish gains. Back. With that said, emay
Udoka wants these guys to compete.This is not a season where they're going

to say, screw it, let'slet's play for a higher draft pick.
No, they want to develop thosewinning habits. It is a manageable part
of the schedule. Even without Shingoun. Can you beat teams like the Wizards
and the Spurs? I think so. There's no reason why they can't compete.
And again, as frustrating as itis, they do have other guys
that can pick up the slack offensively. Jalen and Cam have been better.

One thing that's sort of flown underthe radar, but I want to call
out Fredman Vleet since the All StarBreak, has been so much better shooting,
facilitating. Last night he led theway twenty two points, nine assists.
Think he had five three pointers inone of those games. This weekend,
he's been so much better. Hewas struggling going into the All Star
Break and he had issues with hisback. He had the leg injury the

five before the break. He's beena lot better, and so the hope
is that it's going to be avery different style of offense. It's going
