Welcome back Nightbirds! This week I was joined by Nick Newell. Nick is a professional tarot reader and instructor with a masters in Religious Studies. Nick and I had a great conversation which will serve as a crash course in the tarot, with great information for the beginner and the experienced diviner. We talked the Tarot de Marseille, and compared it with other popular decks. We covered the major and minor arcana, the suits and their respective symbolism, the court cards, the history of the tarot, the power of images as archetypes, how practicing with and relating to the images and spirits of the tarot can help us in our daily lives, and so much more.
