The Hammersmith Ghost Murder

Ep. 47: In 1803, in the London neighborhood of Hammersmith, a ghost had been plaguing residents. The sightings of a tall, white-clad figure were numerous, and at least two people had been said to have died of fright after an encounter. So when Francis Smith loaded up his gun in January 1804, he had a mission to capture a ghost. He may have succeeded instead in committing murder, and creating a ghost. What follows is a strange but true tale of crime, and paranormal legend.
