As three working-mothers, the 9 til Always hosts are constantly facing and having to come to grips with their mother-guilt. Sometimes it is brought on by being called out by outsiders (as in Britta's story), and sometimes it comes from within ourselves as a result of failing to live up to societal or our own expectations of how we should perform as mothers (as for Lucy and Eloise).
