Heartbreaking Family Update: Why We Missed Today’s Show | Episode 221

No new episode today — and we want to be transparent with you. Last week, Krysty’s mom passed away after a long battle with dementia. It’s been a difficult season for our family, but also a time where we’ve seen God’s hand and the incredible support of this community.

We’ll be back this Sunday with a full episode breaking down the news, but today we just wanted to thank you for standing with us through this.

About it podcast and I justwanted to give you guys a quick
update.
We will not have a show today.
We had a pretty rough past week.
Many of you know.
Christy's mom has beenstruggling with dementia and
last Thursday she passed awayand because of that we've been

back and forth between NewMexico and Colorado getting
everything all set with funeralarrangements, and Christy has
been handling all of that andit's been an incredible
experience Difficult, yes, butin many ways we've been blessed
enough to see God's hand in allof this, and we'll talk to you
about it on Sunday when we startup our shows again.

But Christy wanted me to justsay thank you to everybody who
has said such nice things andbeen so supportive through this
whole process.
So many of you have had to dealwith dementia and what a cruel
disease it is, and Christy hashandled this in a way that I am
so proud to just watch her dothis and it is amazing.

And we'll be back at it againon Sunday.
But we just wanted to reach outand let you know we are so
appreciative of this audienceand how it has grown and we just
didn't want to let a day go byand let you think that we
weren't going to hold up our endof the bargain and do a show.
