'Tis so sweet to trust in Jesus, and to take him at his word; just to rest upon his promise, and to know, "Thus saith the Lord."
The words of this hymn came from a grieving heart. As Louisa Stead reflected on the devastating loss of her husband, she found strength for the future as she trusted in her Lord. We can glean truths from this hymn that will help us walk in the confidence of the Lord on life's good days and on life's most challenging days.
