Speaker 1 (00:01):
ladies and gentlemen,
welcome back to another episode
of the no id podcast.
I have here creative uh podcasthost, owner of design, your
dream girl.
She has an avn nominatedpodcast called the spicy
spectrum.
Um, I'm a fan of her work and Idon't care who notices or cares
(00:22):
, but when you see her work youknow you're definitely gonna be
like, okay, she, she, she's gotjuice and she's got gas.
And I don't care who notices orcares, but when you see her
work you know you're definitelygonna be like, okay, she, she,
she's got juice and she's gotgas.
And I hate to sound creepy likethat, but, uh, the one and only
pepper cat, how you doing today, miss pepper cat well, how's
your day going?
Speaker 2 (00:37):
thanks for having me
thanks for coming on.
Speaker 1 (00:40):
Um, my day is going
pretty, pretty, pretty
interesting pretty interesting.
Um, let's just get into it.
Uh, I told you earlier when youknow, before we even started
recording, um, I came acrossyour page on twitter or x to
some people and I was like, okay, let's podcast spicy spectrum,
(01:01):
um, nice content.
It is not the reason I'm sayingnice content, because so I
believe some people don't put alot of effort into the content
anymore yeah it's like, oh yeah,I do this on twitter and boom,
here's 15 seconds.
Subscribe yeah um, but let'sjust get right into it.
(01:24):
Who is Peppercat and how didyou get your start?
Speaker 2 (01:28):
Yeah, so I'm
Peppercat and I've been doing
adult entertainment for aboutthree years, going on four in
June, and I am the founder ofDesign your Dream Girl.
It's basically a humanexperience with me where I help
(01:48):
to bring my customers' fantasiesto life through camming video
calls.
It's a customized experiencethat I founded last year and I
also am a phone sex operator.
I have OnlyFans.
I make porn on clip sites, andPeppercat came from.
(02:15):
I used to do pet play as a cat.
I don't do it as much.
I used to do cosplay where Iacted like a cat, so that's the
cat, and then Pepper, just ebonybrown, so Pepper Cat, but I
still do cosplay here and Itransitioned into adult
entertainment and now here I am.
Speaker 1 (02:51):
Got you.
So what made you transitionfrom being in the news to the
adult industry?
What was the the backstorybehind that?
Speaker 2 (02:59):
Yeah, so I was a news
producer for about three years.
I enjoyed it, but the paywasn't that great and I wanted
to own my own content and havemore of a creative say in what I
do, and I also wanted to earnmore money and adult
entertainment.
It allows you to be financiallyflexible.
(03:21):
I wanted to travel and not justbe stuck in an office, and I
wanted to earn more money andjust have a more flexible life
where I was not under a company, and so I decided to break free.
I did indulge in a little bitof camming and selling panties
(03:42):
when I was a news producer and Isaw how much money I was making
and I was like oh, I canactually do this full time and
so I quit my job.
And here I am okay, sellingpanties.
Speaker 1 (03:55):
Okay, all right, do
men sell boxes?
I'm just kidding, I don't knowprobably be some of the
crustiest bosses coming throughthe ups.
I'm just kidding, some peoplelike crusty panties and crusty
underwear, so really I've seenso many things um like online,
(04:17):
like I interviewed a young ladywho did scat oh, yeah, yeah it's
just no judgment and I was likewhat is like?
You know, I'm just thinkingscat is like music or something
she's like.
No, there's there's poopchocolate, yeah chocolate,
chocolate, chocolate, chocolate,chocolate, chocolate, chocolate
(04:37):
.
Were you nervous at first whenyou started, you know,
transitioning from being a newsproducer to the adult industry.
Speaker 2 (04:47):
When I did phone sex
I was a little bit more
comfortable because peopledidn't see me, they just heard
my voice.
I was skeptical that somebodywould pick up on my voice but I
was pretty comfortable doingphone sex.
And then they started to ask ifthey could see me on camera and
(05:07):
that's when I got a littlenervous, just because I wasn't
sure who I was camming with, that someone would recognize me
from somewhere.
But then the money was rollingin and I was like I don't care.
I didn't really care at thatpoint.
But yeah, I was nervous and Istill get nervous doing cam
calls or stage fright withcustomers.
(05:30):
But I mean, for the most partI'm pretty comfortable with my
body and being on cam doingsilly things.
Speaker 1 (05:39):
Gotcha, because I
know with regular phone sex,
without the face, just the voice, it takes a lot of imagination
and a lot of patience.
Speaker 2 (05:48):
Yeah, I would say
phone sex is more challenging
than camming or OnlyFans.
In my opinion, when it comes tothe performance part, it takes
more, like you said, beingcreative, and being creative
with the customers too, becausethey can't see you and they can
(06:09):
hang up if you don't, if you'renot doing something right too.
Speaker 1 (06:13):
so was it like one of
those ones.
So they like charge you perminute, like oh yeah, which is
pretty nice.
Speaker 2 (06:22):
I mean, if the person
is on there for an hour, which
they have been, it stacks uppretty nicely.
Speaker 1 (06:29):
So I bet, well, I'm a
comedian, was I got 30 minutes
okay in person okay, I'm 36, Idon't have that much time to be
doing all of that, man yeah.
Speaker 2 (06:48):
I mean, you know,
people come to me like during
lunch break or they may want torelieve stress prior to a
business meeting.
I've spoken to famous peoplelike people who just want to
just get off, get off reallyquickly, or you know what I?
Speaker 1 (07:08):
found in my time is
like the, the facetime stuff, or
like because you got whatsapp,it's in my opinion, more
convenient than somethingdepending on what you do for a
living, because I gotta get upat five depending on what you do
for a living, because I gottaget up at five, depending on
what you do for them.
Sometimes that stuff is moreconvenient than actually all
right setting up something maybepotentially getting hotel rooms
(07:30):
stopping to get condoms or what.
Yeah, it's more convenient toto do that.
Have you ever have you was?
Have you ever got any likeweird requests that you could
share?
If you want to share, Iunderstand yeah, I get.
Speaker 2 (07:46):
I get something weird
every day um phone sex.
For phone sex, most people justconfess doing creepy thing.
Creepy things or bizarre orfantasies.
Um, in terms of camming, I getmore weird requests.
Or out of the box, like petplay, acting like a dog barking
(08:21):
on camera.
Um acting like a cat or um pemy mouth.
They like it.
Um, uh, oh, different types ofrole plays like me punching
myself or like slapping myselfon camera not like hurting
myself or anything like that, but just pretending that they're
(08:41):
punching me or slapping my face.
Or cosplay nursing nurses um,it's a lot of stuff.
Um, yeah, I've done role playswhere, like, people like to
pretend like I'm pickling theirpenis and putting it in a jar
and talking about that stompingon their balls.
(09:03):
They love that.
Um, yeah, it's a lot.
Every day is something new.
Speaker 1 (09:08):
So is there, like any
requests that you'd be, like,
you know what I'm gonna pass, oris it, yeah, yeah, a few of
those?
Speaker 2 (09:16):
there was a guy he
wanted me to um, like stab and
this was on camera stab my handwith a fork until it bled.
I didn't do that, like I don'tdo anything that draws blood or
that would harm me.
Yeah, some of them like to seeor like to that's like their
fantasy, like blood.
I just don't do that.
It's just not worth it.
Speaker 1 (09:36):
Other than that, I do
everything to be honest,
imagine you going to the er.
What happened to your hand?
yeah, yeah, yeah yeah like whenI was watching some of your
content.
Um, it's more effort put inyour content, because I don't
(09:57):
know what it is, but, likeOnlyFans has created this
illusion where you pretty muchset up a camera, you twerk or
you just fuck and then like, oh,that's it.
You know what I'm saying.
It's like there's no effortinto it.
I don't know, I don't know yourage or nothing, but I came up
(10:18):
in the era when 11 o'clockcinemax had a two-hour movie and
they had a plot, a storylineyeah, music behind it, yeah so
what's some of your inspirationbehind your content um that you
put up?
Speaker 2 (10:36):
yeah, well, I
actually have a um a background
in film, so like oh, why don't Ijust integrate some of my film
background and editing?
And so I decided to just dosomething that I didn't see
happening, like you said, whichI know some people like that, I
think more so, people buypeople's content because of
(11:00):
their personalities and stufflike that too, so maybe that's
why they like it.
But I wanted to add somethingthat I didn't see.
I didn't see anyone beingcreative or just adding more
storylines, and so I decided toadd music and drama and dildos
to pretend like the customer isthere with me.
(11:21):
And yeah, all of my adultvideos are dramatic and everyone
always wants like a part two tosome dramatic cheating story or
some you know, some, some funnyvideo.
Even I've done videos whereI've fucked a ghost or an
(11:42):
invisible man, and everyoneloves that too, those different
types of storylines that youdon't often see.
But yeah, I just wanted to bemore creative and make more
erotica videos, to not only justfuck on cam but have a
storyline and to connect with mycustomers too.
Speaker 1 (12:06):
Yeah, I think like
sometimes people get caught up
in the money grab, and thereason I'm saying this is
because I had a friend thatstarted the OnlyFans.
Well, in order to subscribe toher OnlyFans, you had to pay $7.
Right then, when you actuallysubscribe to the OnlyFans for $7
, in order to see anything youhad to pay an additional X, y
(12:26):
and Z for.
And the clips, the clips like30 seconds, maybe a minute, and
I'm like what the fuck are we?
What's the seven?
And now, if I get you guys somestuff, that's a little too
premium.
But then I'm like the thing, but you've always seemed pretty
fair.
I don't know.
I don't know.
(12:46):
I think you really do have atrue craft here.
I know it sounds crazy what I'msaying, but I think you have a
true art for it.
Um, behind it is this is thissomething that you can see
yourself doing long term, likeanother 10, 20 years from now,
or the?
Are you gonna do a graceful bowout and be like, hey, I'm going
(13:07):
to go ahead and make Tubimovies or something?
I don't know.
Speaker 2 (13:11):
Well, first I want to
address the first comment that
you said it's still a business.
I know some people see itbecause I know it's like sex and
masturbation, but I mean evenlike, for like some of the sites
I have out, I have somebody pay$7 and then they have to pay
more.
So I mean it's still a businessat the end of the day, but I
(13:33):
mean in terms of me doing this.
Well, I started my company, Iwant to expand it, which I don't
want to talk more about ituntil it's finalized, but I do
want to expand, design yourDream Girl and turn that into an
actual site where people canactually work on those sites.
And I take out a percentage,but I don't think I would stop
(13:54):
either because the money's toogood and there's not really an
age limit.
Honestly, the highest earnersare the oldest adult
entertainers who are in theirforties and fifties.
Um, yeah, I mean.
I mean I can, I can be a MILFand people will still pay me.
Like I can be an old lady andpeople who have a fetish for old
(14:19):
ebony women will still, willstill pay me.
I mean there are women who arein their sixties still doing
this and people are paying them.
But, um, I may stop, I may not.
It all depends on what I what Ifeel is right for me.
But I definitely want to workbehind the scenes and expand my
(14:40):
company that I have.
But I don't see me stoppingcamming anytime soon.
The money's just too good.
Speaker 1 (14:49):
Yeah, I know I
respect it.
I respect it, I think, uh,because, depending back to what
she said about old ebony mepersonally, well, I live where I
live at porn hub is banned, like any site that has as porn,
and it is done so we can't lookit up.
(15:09):
And then the ones that actuallyare free.
I kind of hate how theycategory, put, the categorize us
.
It's like you got ebony, this, this, this, and then you got
black, this, this, this, and I'mlike yo, this is just one
fucking category.
Do you have any takes on that,or is it like?
Speaker 2 (15:25):
well, so the ebony is
black women, and then I think I
think what I don't not entirelysure, but I think black is
black men, I believe, or likeblack couples um, the reason why
they separate it to, at leastfrom my perspective, is that
there's not a lot of us on thesesites.
(15:46):
So if they were to not havethose categories and people were
to upload porn, we would justbe pushed down because the
majority people on these sitesare non-Black.
And so I actually love havingan ebony category because it
helps me make more money andpeople can see my content,
(16:07):
because there's not a lot ofblack women on these sites in
the first place, and if I didn'thave an ebony category then
people would probably not see mycontent, just because people
upload on those sites everysingle day, and if we're not the
majority, then our content getspushed down.
So I enjoy having the ebonycontent.
I'm a proud, proud Ebony cammodel and I love my fans who
(16:32):
love Ebony women.
Speaker 1 (16:34):
Respect, respect.
Was there any like biginspirations or anyone that you
looked up to in the adultindustry that you admire?
Speaker 2 (16:51):
that you admire, not
anyone in particular.
I do respect, to be honest, thephone sex operators, since
that's where I started, like theones who are OGs, who have been
on these sites for years, because it takes a lot of
creativity to do this, and Ithink I think people, when they
think of adult entertainers oronline, they forget the phone
(17:12):
sex operators, and the firstthought are the OnlyFans women.
But there are women who havebeen camming and doing phone sex
for years and and it it takes alot to do what they do and I
think they paved the way onlinefor OnlyFans women who have just
(17:33):
jumped in and did OnlyFans, butyeah, Big thanks, but no one in
particular, but just the womenwho've been doing this for years
.
Speaker 1 (17:44):
Yeah, Does it get
catty in your industry, like
between everybody, everybodylike somebody gets jealous
because you're getting morerecognition and followers?
Or is it more lack ofencouragement between each other
in the adult industry?
Speaker 2 (17:57):
um, I haven't
experienced anything catty with
me.
I know I've seen online likepeople like go back and forth,
or I know I've posted somethinglike on Titty Tuesday and then
somebody else will post like apicture and it's like well,
don't poach.
You know my potential customersLike that's.
I think that's pretty tacky topost your video or picture under
(18:22):
my post or somebody else's post, but I don't really see
competition with other peoplebecause we all have the same
customers.
To be honest, Like it's a verysmall community.
One day somebody wants an ebonywoman and then another day they
may buy a video from a blondehair, blue eyed woman.
(18:45):
Like we all share the samecustomers anyway.
So there's no sense ofcompeting against each other,
you know so I've seen that whereit's like all right, it's titty
tuesday and I'm like all right,it's titty tuesday and then
you'll see.
Speaker 1 (18:59):
You'll see something
you're like oh wow, this is
amazing yeah, and then you go toI saw one so disrespectful I
was like y'all, I would slapwhoever they like, saw it
reposted with a quote and putthemselves with their only fans
link see, yeah that's crazy, butyeah it's just lazy like, just
(19:23):
post your own stuff.
Speaker 2 (19:24):
Why do you have to
comment under people's comments
with your booty picture?
Speaker 1 (19:29):
it's random first of
all, it's unethical because it's
called titty tuesday, not rightbooty thursday.
Okay, save that shit foranother day.
It's a national holiday ontwitter.
Speaker 2 (19:40):
I don't know who
started miss.
Miss be nasty.
She's like the, the founder ofthat she's go, go, go go and she
hates when people like postunder her picture too, if it's
not titty tuesday, but peoplejust do it, you know I think
they do it just to poach or justtry and get some kind of
(20:02):
recognition.
Speaker 1 (20:02):
Because I'll be
honest with you one time uh, it
was like a thread and it waslike all content creators.
Now I knew the person who wasdoing it.
It was all porn and I was like, okay, cool, and I decided to
post a stand-up comedy clipunderneath of it.
Man, I got blocked so hard Itried, I tried I tried, I was
(20:27):
like I wasn't.
You know, I don't know, I don'tknow, I don't know.
You have such a nice like bubblypersonality man oh, thank you
and do you get man that hit onyou through like your business,
your line of work is?
Speaker 2 (20:42):
do you even consider
some of them or you just think
they're just talking a bunch ofbullshit like I mean, um, a lot
of their compliments are prettygenuine and I mean I always
appreciate when somebody hasgenuine compliments.
I do have a couple of customerswho fall in love or like get
(21:06):
attached.
Um, yeah, they like get youknow crushes or whatever.
But I mean they know they haveto separate the two.
Some take it too seriously, like not your girlfriend, you
can pay for me to act like yourgirlfriend.
But yeah, some of them do getattached.
(21:29):
Especially when I did livecamming like on my free camps,
which I don't do as much anymore, people would watch me every
day and get attached to mebecause it's kind of like
watching a movie or like yourfavorite TV show and you have
this character that you like onTV.
If you watch it all the time, you end up falling in love and
having some fantasy about them.
(21:50):
That's not true.
So I'll come across that.
But yeah, I mean I've comeacross customers that I've.
You know like, oh, he's, he'scute, or you know he's, he's
nice.
But I always remember it'sabout money first, it it can't
get caught up and the customercan't get caught up.
Speaker 1 (22:11):
It's like somebody
might be like yeah, I went to, I
was on her stream and I feellike I made an emotional
connection.
Speaker 2 (22:19):
They do, they do that
.
Yeah, be careful.
Speaker 1 (22:23):
Be very careful.
It might be the cycle.
Yeah, yeah.
Speaker 2 (22:27):
Yeah, some people be
the cycle.
Yeah, it's true.
Yeah, some people get obsessive.
They do and I'll block them andthen they'll make another
account and then contact me andit's like calm down have you
ever got like recognized out inpublic like?
Speaker 1 (22:46):
man I just saw your
clip see, I don't.
Speaker 2 (22:49):
So the majority of my
customers are married, so I
don't I always notice, like whenI go through airports, for um
example, people may do like adouble take, or I've had people
stare at me for a long period oftime and I suspect they know
who I am.
But because a lot of mycustomers are married, I don't
(23:12):
think they would actually comeup to me and say, hey, I know
who you are, but I I've, I've,I've kind of picked up that
people know who I am when I'm inpublic, like through like
airports or something like that, because obviously these people
are from all over the world andI'm sure they've seen me.
Like there's not a lot of ebonywomen on these sites and I
(23:33):
stick out like a sore thumb soand I'm on every single site
that you can think of, so I'msure people have recognized me
somewhere, yeah, yeah don't know, I tried it.
Speaker 1 (23:48):
I tried it.
I was like 18, oh and that.
That.
That didn't last, it's like youknow not for me, because I
couldn't only imagine like I'min the grocery store or
something with my mom and he'slike, damn, I just saw you.
I'm like, oh yeah, I'm allright, Brody, you know what I
mean.
Speaker 2 (24:08):
Yeah so.
Speaker 1 (24:09):
I mean, I get it, I
get it, I get it, and now you
have different avenues, right?
So in my opinion, I call itdiversifying your portfolio.
Speaker 2 (24:19):
So you have your own
website, you have the only fans,
the many clips, the many vids, but you also have a podcast as
well, too.
Yeah, spicy spectrum.
Yeah, yeah, I started mypodcast in 2023.
Spicy spectrum basically, um, Italk about sexuality and our
(24:41):
desires.
Most of my listeners are men,so I do gear towards men and I
basically just talk about beingopen about your fantasies and
acknowledging a side of humanitythat people like to sweep under
the rug, and so I decided toturn that into a podcast and
(25:02):
have guests on there to breakdown our sexual desires.
I have adult content creatorsthat come on there, and then I
talk about my own perspective, about my life as an adult
entertainer.
Yeah, and it's been goingstrong and I've had I was
nominated for AVN, which isgreat, um, which is great
(25:26):
because, thank you, um, yeah, Ididn't win, but I, I, I am
officially an award nominatedpodcast, which which is nice to
have too.
But, um, yeah, and I have a lotof my customers who listen to
my podcast too, um, and I feellike it's great because they get
to see two different sides ofme, not just the sexy side, but
(25:48):
they also get to see mypersonality and what I think,
and just more of theintellectual side too, because
oftentimes people only see oneside of us, and I just wanted to
create a platform where I couldshow different versions beyond
my titties and my ass, you knowbecause, like I watch your, your
(26:14):
threads and your tweets andyou're advocating for no
judgment here.
Speaker 1 (26:21):
It's a sexual fantasy
and I think, uh, sex is so
taboo and so people are afraidto talk about it.
And if you like sex, cool, butit's then like oh, you want too
much sex, so you want to do toomany things, or you like to eat
this and lick this and watchthis, and it seemed like
everybody's in a fuckingjudgment.
(26:41):
You can cuss up here.
I'm sorry because I'm gettingoff my chest.
It's like so many people are inthe fucking judgment, but they
say that, but their bookmarkshave the same shit that they're
judging us on.
You know what?
Speaker 2 (26:51):
I mean, it's always
the people who are the loudest
against what we do, who watchour content and buy our videos.
It's all shame, though I meanthey're they're ashamed of who
they are and they take it out onthe people who make them feel
that way, because I don't knowwhy we're so prude in the US.
(27:13):
It's just, everyone else ismoving forward.
Well, it's not everyone else, but places like Australia and
Amsterdam.
They're very open about it, andwe are one of the few countries
that are still stuck up aboutsex.
Speaker 1 (27:30):
It's just crazy we're
stuck up about sex we're stuck
up to talk about it.
You know what I mean thank youthank you.
Yeah, it's so stupid.
It really is.
It's like, uh, I had one, uhone entertainer appear on my
(27:52):
podcast and I literally justasked.
I said, well, how do you feelabout dating?
It's, I'll do it.
They just got to be comfortablewhat I do and I was like well,
that's not a problem.
You know like I would datesomebody in that industry.
Because I'm saying to myself Ijust couldn't watch the
penetration, like the videoswere already out there, cool.
Speaker 2 (28:13):
But we're like locked
in, they got to, I'll help
co-star, or something because Ican't compete, you know, I mean
I can't do nothing with that, soI don't know.
It's not a yeah, you could doany other content, but I can't
watch you with another man, Ijust just me personally well,
yeah, I think I think peoplehave the right to have a
(28:35):
preference, like if if peopledon't want to date a sex worker
because they don't feelcomfortable, then that's their
choice, just like us.
We don't have to date certainpeople either.
You know, everyone has theirchoice and their limits.
So I don't I mean, for me it'snot hard, at least for me.
I know some people have saidthat it's challenging to date.
(28:57):
For me it's not.
The guys I've dated have neverhad a problem with it, um, but I
know some people who do have aproblem with that too.
So it's all up to the person itis.
Speaker 1 (29:08):
I think it's all
about like the mentality and how
you gotta separate the personalfrom the business yeah, which a
lot of people have a hard timeseparating that with us and
people need to stop being sofucking judgmental and be like
yeah, I like to suck a pinky toehere and there.
Speaker 2 (29:28):
Just let the shit go
I mean it is what it is.
Speaker 1 (29:33):
Well, I keep my
interviews kind of short.
I only keep them about 30minutes, um, but I do value the
time and and everything and Iwish you nothing but the best of
success with everything thatyou got going on.
I'm pretty sure 40 years fromnow you're going to still be
(29:55):
blowing up and doing your thing, man, but I appreciate
everything I was going to say.
Do you have any advice toanybody aspiring to get into the
