Chrystul Kizer was a struggling young teen, forced to ask people for money to help pay for school supplies and other necessities, when she met 32 year old Randall Volar III. He quickly got her involved in forced prostitution (re: sex trafficking). When she tried to break free, Randall assaulted her and she was forced to defend herself. Easy case of self-defense, right? Wrong.
This case is layered and extremely frustrating so be prepared to get angry.
