Welcome back, lovely listeners! In celebration of Alex visiting The Netherlands, Katie is covering a 2017 case that shocked the area.
Anne Faber was 25 when she decided to ride her bicycle to a neighboring town. Unbeknownst to her and the surrounding area, a convicted rapist was running loose.
Michael Panhuis, 27 at the time, had already served about 7 years in prison before entering a rehabilitation program. But because of privacy laws, he was able to withhold his conviction from the rehabilitation facility and was allowed to leave unsupervised.
This case is tough but hopefully Katie’s awful pronunciation of Dutch towns and names will lighten the dark subject. Also featured is Ivo’s (Alex’s Dutch boyfriend) lovely voice pronouncing towns and names correctly 🇳🇱
We love you all! Thanks for listening!
