Paul tells us in Romans that, "And we know that for those who love God all things work together for good,." I don't know that we believed that 26 years ago when our third son, Cole, was born. He was our second child born with a congenital heart defect. In the years ahead though, God proved his promise to be true. It was hard, we didn't always handle the challenges well, but God used Cole to help transform our relationship with him and each other. Even in the storms of life, you can thrive together.
