Paper Rings was the first time Taylor explicitly said she wanted to get married—and it came wrapped in high-energy, playful instrumentation that I just can’t get enough of. And Delicate? It captures that suspended moment between casual dating and emotional vulnerability—when you want something more but aren’t sure if it’s safe to ask for it yet. Taylor nailed that terrifying but necessary feeling.
