WNBA star Brittney Griner was released from a Russian penal colony on 8 Dec. 2022 in a swap for convicted arms dealer Viktor Bout – the merchant of death. Griner has been detained since 17 Feb. and was sentenced to 9.5 years in August for having vape cartridges containing the marijuana concentrate hashish. You can read all about it here.
President Biden tweeted: "She is safe. She is on a plane. She is on her way home." However, JAG and TLeake wonder, "Should Brittney Griner have been released?" We would love for you to listen, share this episode, and provide feedback at nostupidquestionshow@gmail.com.
