Stoy (00:00):
My fellow Americans, why
are we the way we are?
(00:03):
There's a lot of shit going onin all of our lives.
Yet the same things keeprepeating and happening over and
over and over again, and forthose that are still listening
after the first 20 seconds, I'mnot gonna bring politics and
geopolitical crap into this.
I'm talking about you and me andthe things that you hear and see
and what's going on today'sworld.
If a lot of you have beenwatching my videos lately have
(00:25):
been getting a little spicy, that's what the whole series is
about and there's some been somevery interesting dynamics and
data that I found not.
Direct data, but informationthat I have found out from
people commenting on my postsand commenting on others posts
Ang, for example, um, had postedabout some insurance and she got
(00:45):
absolutely thrown everywhere.
People coming at her and tellingher that why is she the way she
is?
And that she needs to be betterand just do better.
Come on people.
What are we doing here?
We're all trying to do our best.
My posts when we're talkingabout my content specifically,
the last time we were talkingabout a UM charges, uh,
commissionable products andcharges for advisors, um,
(01:08):
retainer models, you know,fee-based, whatever you wanna
call it.
All of these advisors comingout.
And essentially attacking mypoint of view and what I was
getting at.
The funny thing is I'm doingthat on purpose.
My marketing is on purpose for afew reasons.
One, it's on purpose to doexactly what it did, bring
attention to it, share my stuff.
Yeah, let's do it.
(01:29):
Let's bring more engagementbecause it's gonna reach more
people.
And then those people that areactually reading it.
The feedback that I've gotten iscontinue doing what you're
doing.
You're bringing the realism outin the world, specifically when
we talk about money.
So yeah, I'm obviously gonnakeep doing what I'm doing, but
it's a very interesting dynamicthat we'll have people in the
comments attacking other people.
We're all humans.
We're all trying to do our best, and we're trying to do it in the
(01:51):
best lens that we possibly canwhile providing information to
others.
Does that mean every piece ofcontent that we create, or every
word that I say is for everycertain person out there?
Hell no.
But it's for you to understandwhere you're at in your
situation and maybe you canlearn something.
Maybe you know someone that thatwould help.
Or at the end of the day, youjust be able to have more
knowledge to take that, thatstep further.
(02:13):
But for those calling everyoneout and saying, that's bad
advice.
It's the dumbest thing I've everheard.
You are dumb.
Uh, do better be better.
You shouldn't be saying thosethings.
You're not in the right place.
Stay in your lane.
All of those other comments, where's that?
What does that help us?
Where does that get us?
There are millions of people inthis world that don't get
anything.
They don't read'em, they don'tsee any of our posts.
They don't truly get the trueadvice or even understanding of
(02:36):
what it is.
So we've got this giantdemographic out there that has
no idea what's going on.
So they just listen to whateveradvisor who pushes whatever they
have or whatever consultant orwhatever business, and then we
shit on the ones that are justproviding information, not out
there saying it's the best thingin the world.
I'm, I'm bringing attention toit.
I'm asking a question.
I'm asking them to ask questionsof their planner, their advisor,
(02:57):
their, the people they're doingbusiness with, you know, their
therapist, you name it.
We need to be asking morequestions so we can do more for
each other.
So why are we the way we are?
Why do we love to shit on eachother so much and pull each
other down as opposed to liftingeach other up?
But we'll go ahead and lift upthose celebrities.
They damn sure need it.
They don't.
Small businesses.
(03:17):
Do you and me do?
People feeling that alone athome right now are the ones that
need lifted up, but we don't.
We'll shit on them.
We won't share things.
We won't reach out.
We won't have thosecommunications.
What are we doing?
Little shout out to my brotherRobbie Unger, and I hope you.
Get to listen to this one and,and watch it, which I know you
will'cause you comment all myshit all the time.
(03:37):
Um, recently we've just beenhaving more conversations,
right?
Actually calling each other moreoften.
And it's not about anything.
We're just bullshitting.
Same thing over and over again.
But it makes you realize likehow important just talking is
and having those communications, whether that is on social media.
By the way, follow him onLinkedIn.
He is hilarious and I'm not justsaying that'cause I'm biased,
(03:58):
which I am out the ass.
Very, very, very biased.
However, he is hilarious.
It's this shine of light, thisability to just communicate, let
alone sharing something andtalking about something, a topic
you may not know about, askingquestions publicly that you
might not know the answer towithout feeling like you're
gonna get ridiculed.
That would be amazing for us.
In our society.
(04:19):
Granted now you're all sittinghere going, you said you weren't
gonna talk about politics and,and due political crap.
Okay, lemme back up a littlebit.
I will.
In, in the terms of, there is alot of things going on that are
harming a lot of us.
You know what they are.
You know what's going on.
You know who's in charge, youknow who's leading the circus,
okay?
So we understand that.
But as people, we can cometogether, we can be here for
(04:40):
each other.
Regardless of those differences, because at the end of the day,
that's all we have is us ashumans to help lift each other
and take us to the next level.
If not, the rich will keepgetting richer.
I promise you.
They're gonna be more powerfuland there's nothing we can do
about it.
So I'm not talking aboutpolitics in that regard.
The rest of what I was talkingabout wasn't politics either.
But if you put the politics lenson, it's the same exact
(05:02):
conversation.
So do me a favor.
This episode's different thanothers.
Maybe share it, maybe comment.
Let's have a conversation deepin these comments about.
What I'm talking about.
Why are we the way we are?
Do we have to be this way?
Is this the end all be all?
Is this where we've come to innature of just pulling each
other down as opposed to liftingeach other up?
Or have we been kind of forcedinto this and forced our hand
(05:24):
and now it's time for us all torise up together and understand
that we are in this thingtogether.
We can help each other out andwe can reach further.
I don't know.
Yeah, we should try it.
