I say try because the gremlinscan always get you.
SPEAKER_01 (02:30):
Gremlins will get
you.

working on Instagram.
It says that it is, but yeah,it's all right.
SPEAKER_00 (02:39):
We've got the
YouTube, so we we can share it,
people can see it, and we'lldeal with all that other stuff
later.
Again, learning curves, gremlins, we're getting there.

everybody, that's what I'mlooking forward to.
Hopefully making some newfriends and getting some content
while we're there.
SPEAKER_00 (03:12):
And we sent out our

like somebody had to back out
and then they got a new person, but Scott's keeping it at over
80 celebrities.
It's awesome.

Let's see.
I said Schlatter, CharlieSchlatter.
He was on Diagnosis Murder andso many cartoons.
The original.
Well, I can't say the originalCaptain America because there
was a serial in the 40s.
But the 1970s, Captain America,Reb Brown is gonna be there.
(07:52):
I remember it.
Oh, I love that.
That was our Captain America.
He had a motorcycle, and hisshield was like transparent

SPEAKER_00 (08:21):
That is correct.
Ming is in town right now, buthe's on the North Shore.
So that's kind of by you, but Iwon't be able to get to go see
him.
But he's going to be on theshow, and then we're going to
talk in person, of course.
And I've met him a few times.
Great guy.
Fun to hang around with.
Loves his Hubick pies.
So if you go see him, you mightwant to bring him.
Bring him some Hubick.

(08:41):
We lost it for a while and itcame back in the world.

(09:04):
abuse his body like all thewrestlers and boxers for so
long.
And so DDP's helping him.
So that'll be good to see himand how far he's come along to
get back on the road torecovery.
SPEAKER_01 (09:13):
Mm-hmm.
SPEAKER_00 (09:13):
But I'm I'm totally
excited.
SPEAKER_01 (09:15):
Yeah, man.
What else we got?
We got CajunCon.
It's gonna be a mad dash betweennow and the weekend of CajunCon.
SPEAKER_00 (09:23):
Yeah.
SPEAKER_01 (09:23):
Trying to get
everything squared away, ready
to go.
I know these the people that goto the conventions every
weekend, they've got theirprocess down and how they pack
their stuff and get everythingready to go.
And this is all still so new, trying to figure that stuff out.
SPEAKER_00 (09:38):
Yeah.
We we would love to live streamfrom it.
We've got to find our powersources, which isn't a big
problem, but space is limited.
I don't know.
You know, they'll run anextension court, but I'm saying
it's something we have to findout.
We're gonna get there on the5th, set up, and then we're
staying in a hotel there.
So we're gonna be from start tofinish.
We'll be there.
Come say hi to us.
Come come join us.
Be one of us.
One of us.
One of us.
(09:58):
Wait, did I just call us freaks?
SPEAKER_01 (10:00):
Mm-hmm.
SPEAKER_00 (10:00):
Oh well.
Anyway, so that's pretty much onthe horizon.
I have a film.
I'm finally gonna play thatCajun Jedi for the next two
weeks, and then after that isCajun Con.
So that'll be exciting.
Hopefully I'll have a picture ofmyself there.
I'd like to be able to show thatto people.
I might not be able to, but I'mlooking forward to that.
We do have some rain forecastson some of our outdoor shoot
days.
You know, I told the director,uh, hey.
Hey, what's up, Malcolm?
(10:21):
Hey, what's up?
Sorry, I don't have my chat on.
Let me see.
Let me see if that's who I thinkit is.
If that's Malcolm Washington, what's up, brother?
He is.
I picked up something for him inJuly, and it's kind of an
odd-shaped thing, so I couldn'tget a right box, so I'm gonna
give it to him in person.
Yep, that's him.
What's up?
Malcolm Washington.
Yep, I can see my screen isblocked by my new camera, so I'm
(10:41):
gonna have to work on that.
It's good to good to see youthere, uh Malcolm.
SPEAKER_01 (10:44):
Yeah, we're gonna
have to get you get you
straightened out on that.
SPEAKER_00 (10:47):
One day.
It's kind of nice to be flyingby the seat of our pants and
like crazy.
SPEAKER_01 (10:51):
We're making it work
though.
SPEAKER_00 (10:52):
Exactly.
And then, you know, we've beengifted with the people who
listen to us and follow us onsocial media and our friends,
and it's it's been a good trip.
SPEAKER_01 (11:00):
Yeah, so the the
other thing we should touch on,
we're starting to get the videoversions of the podcast
uploaded.
We had a little bit of technicaldifficulty.
A few months back, I had acatastrophic failure of a good
bit of my equipment.
We had a close-by lightningstrike, and I lost 10 or 12
pieces of equipment, one ofwhich was my main PC that had
(11:24):
all of the episodes, everythingthat was edited on there.
Yeah.
And it's been a processrebuilding computer and getting
files transferred over.
So what we're doing is startingto upload the most recent
versions of the podcast toYouTube and going backwards and
then getting the older ones.
I'm having to go in and do somere-editing because I I just I
(11:46):
lost some of the some of thedata.
But those things are coming andthe channel channels growing,
trying anyway.
SPEAKER_00 (11:53):
Yeah, and what are
you gonna do?
It's an act of God.
SPEAKER_01 (11:56):
Yeah.
Although if not a whole lot youcan do.
Fortunately, I mean things werebacked up, but I had to find
where things were and yeah, youknow.
SPEAKER_00 (12:03):
But if God doesn't
want us to be on the air,
anyway.
No, we and then that was thedevil.
That was the devil lightningstrike.
He didn't want us play.
SPEAKER_01 (12:09):
That's that's true.
SPEAKER_00 (12:11):
Very cool.
So season four is ending, seasonfive is starting with our
friends and and guests forCajunCon.
The merch store is up.
We we can use all the help wecan get.
We want to we want you to havethose quality projects.
SPEAKER_01 (12:21):
But if you just want
to help us, buy me a coffee
slash Nolo Film scene.
SPEAKER_00 (12:25):
Yes, and the
website's up.
It's been up, and TJ did somemore work on it, and it's
looking even more streamlined.
It's it's a thing of beauty.
I like it a lot.
SPEAKER_01 (12:34):
Still a work in
progress, though, but it'll
it'll get there.
SPEAKER_00 (12:37):
Well, all art is a
work in progress.
You're never gonna be done.
SPEAKER_01 (12:40):
Yeah, it's never
done.
It is never done.
SPEAKER_00 (12:43):
And the YouTube
channel is it's been up.
Now it's up and running better.
So, and we will keep releasing,we'll keep bringing this.
We're working on some otherideas for let's call it content,
even though I'm not the biggestfan of the word content.
That's what it is, to give yousome variety, ways of reaching
out to people.
So 2026 is gonna be veryexciting in 2025.
There's still a little bit left, and that's pretty exciting too.
SPEAKER_01 (13:02):
Yeah, that's right.
As of season five, we'll bekicking that off.
The very beginning of it's gonnabe focused in and around Cajun
Con and guests related to CajunCon.
We have a couple of other guestslined up that aren't related to
Cajun Con, but the beginning ofit is going to be pretty heavily
focused on promoting that andthen our experiences there.
So, folks, thank you so much forthe support that you've shown
(13:25):
us, and we hope we can keep itgoing and not let you down.
SPEAKER_00 (13:28):
Thank you very much.
Enjoy the ride.
