Belgium sculptor Sabine Allaeys has created a series of minimalist limited edition wildlife sculptures cast in bronze entitled Awakening of Art . The series has evolved over the past decade and these 'mini-monumental' works are beautifully smooth and enticingly tactile in their natural green, brown and black patinas.
On this podcast episode host Juliet Rees is in-conversation with Allaeys discussing the inspiration behind the Awakening of Art series and her origins in art history, digital design and her reset embracing nature and the spiritual principals found in primitive art and objects.
The Nordic Art Agency has recently signed Allaeys to the gallery and she will be in Sweden for her forthcoming solo exhibition SOULSONG which launches on April 4th 2025. The exhibition will be a presentation of a selection of her recent sculptures and will be available to view until May 24th 2025.
You can find Allaeys on Instagram or visit her artists page at the Nordic Art Agency.
