Episode 28: Natalee Holloway, Stephany Flores Ramirez, and Joran van der Sloot’s Unfortunate Encounters.

In 2005 Natalee Holloway visited Aruba along with over 100 of her classmates. Less than a week after graduating, Natalee disappeared outside a bar and nightclub in Aruba. Almost immediately, authorities zero in on their prime suspect, a local teen known to harass tourists, Joran van der Sloot. Unfortunately, despite having everything shy of hard evidence, Joran was not arrested. It wasn't until he had another encounter with a woman, Stephany Flores Ramirez, precisely five years following his encounter with Natalee, that he was put behind bars for an extended period of time. Over 17 years later, Natalee's case remains a mystery.
