(00:26):
Music. Hey, hey, what you do,

(01:03):
everybody? None.
It's me, the Dolphins Gremlin here for the NBA show with the
king from New York. Bando, how you doing my man?

(01:29):
Lanka shaman had 36 points, Cat had believe.
Think he had like 40 or 31 or something like that.
He had 39. He was almost. 39, almost 40
points with 11 rebounds and like5 assists.
Yeah, and six for 14 from three too.
So Cat. Was shooting.
On top of that, he was going crazy like shaman as well.
Yep, and then aside from a little bit of a dunk mishap from

(01:52):
our boy there, Bridges, he was looking good otherwise.
It was 4 steals. It was a it was a force on the
defense. And people are probably don't
think of the Heat is that good of a team because no big stars
now anymore with Jimmy Butler exit in and bam, still there.
But the Heat is still a solid team, Yeah.

(02:12):
You know Charlie, hero out. That's for sure.
Norm Powell last night, though, that's one guy who had a good
game against the Knicks. He put up 38 and he had pretty
efficient shooting from three with 815 as well.
So he's shooting. He's shooting 46% from the
three. Yeah, so Norm Powell, Knicks

(02:33):
locked it down at the end there where they needed to.
But let's check out the Eastern Conference standings here,
because at the top, everybody isshocked but happy about it.
Pistons 11 and two right now. Wow. 11 and two behind Kate
Cunningham. The Pistons 11 and two.

(02:57):
Wow. Yeah, right now they're top to
Eastern Conference. I, I don't know, I think I like
what they we can tell what they did to improve their team from
last year. They just kept this core and
then, you know, they're given more responsibility to Thompson,
you know, whoever they can, these younger guys, and they're
starting to shine, man. Oh yeah, yeah, the Detroit has

(03:19):
improved from last season 'causelast season they were what I
believe the seventh or six seed, and now they're at the top.
Now they're now they're at the top of the Eastern.
So they made a big improvement in those in these past two
seasons because what, two years ago they were at the bottom of
the East. They're at the bottom.

(03:42):
And these two, these that's a quick they redeeming themselves.
Detroiters were deeming themselves this season.
Yeah, I really, I, I like their team overall.
I just like how young and hungerthey are, man.
And. They're yelling.
They got a young core. Kate Cunningham, the Thompson,

(04:07):
they got a they got a lot of guys.
They got a lot of guys. On that team, Jalen Duran, I
really like Duran. So it's I like Duran as well.
If and Jaden Ivey, you know, whenever he's going to be able
to get back because I think isn't he hurt right now.
And Jaden Ivey's I have to checkup on real quick.
Yeah, I think he's out right now.

(04:28):
But Jaden Ivey, he's he's going to be a good part of it.
But then right below them is your boys the Knicks.
It's their eight and four secondin the East right now.
They're right there, though, with the Hawks and Cavs, who and
Bucks, who are all 8:00 and 5:00.
So it's like that slot from 2:00to 5:00.
They're all. From one game foot, one game
difference. Yeah, So what do you what do you
think is going to help the Knicks hopefully pull away this

(04:51):
year? I meet consistency, consistency
and, and stay healthy, 'cause now we're out with OG with a
hamstring and there were our Bronson with the, or the grade
one ankle sprain. And I'm gonna be honest, last
night they, they, they surprisedme last night because 'cause

(05:14):
when brunts, 'cause when Bronsonis out, the offense is a little
shaky. They, they get a little shaky
when Bronson is out. But they, they executed last
night. They executed.
They executed. And our boy better betters there
asking what do you think about them winning the ship man 222 in

(05:35):
my. Opinion.
I'm not one of those delusional Nick fans.
I'm not one of those illusional delusions.
Well, I think to like health is the big one that you just
brought up for for the Knicks, It's it's it's all dependent
upon health, because we've seen what Brunson can do in the
playoffs when he's fully healthy.
He's a nightmare to guard. He's a.

(05:55):
Cat playoff riser. He's averaging 30 and on top of
that he has the most fourth quarter points in less games.
And plus, we're also talking about elite defense from
Bridges. You know, Cat stepped it up in
the playoffs, not only on the onhis way out the door from the
Timberwolves, but into the Knicks to get them to the

(06:17):
conference finals last year. So you know, the they have the
pieces to get there. But this early in the season,
who knows? Now the next team I'm not too
sure on still, I haven't seen enough from them to make my full
opinion, but it's the Hawks. They're 8 and 5 right now.
They're on a four-game winning streak.

(06:39):
They have a nice team, Trey, Trey Young, still the
centerpiece basically of this team.
But Porzingis there. I think that's a nice mobile
piece for them. Obviously, if he can stay
healthy, he can also provide a bit a bit a better interior
defense when he needs to. But with all his injuries, I I
it's hard to bet on Porzingis. Yeah, he does still have that

(07:05):
illness afflicting him, unfortunately.
You know, hopefully that's something that gets better along
the line. But until then.
Yeah, 'cause he's hottest since last season.
But, you know, they, they have other nice pieces on their team.
You know, Dyson Daniels is stillthere.
I like him a lot. They got a Rasche.

(07:27):
He's a good, he's a good piece for them.
And us and Noel I like I saw Noel, I think he can be a better
piece for them. But the this team in the long
run, we, we don't really know what they're going to turn into
right, because sometimes the Hawks have comes and searched on

(07:48):
late in the season and been ableto become a higher tier playoff
team with that after All Star break search.
But with this team, I I'm still not sure of them.
I I mean Trey Young I'm unimpressed with when it comes
to being a clutch time player anymore, But maybe this is the
type of team that he needs to bebetter.

(08:08):
Yeah, and my, my thing is with the Hogs, they start the season
off hot and then when it comes to later on the season, they
just, they go, they go down, they they're fighting for a
plain spot. They got to be consistent.
Yeah, and that's a that's a hardthing, it seems for for the last

(08:30):
couple of years for the Hawks tobe doing.
Now the next team on this Eastern Conference list is also
eight and five are the ClevelandCavaliers.
They're they're coming off a loss, but you know, it's still
the same team basically we saw from last year.
Mobley, Mitchell, the same guys,Jared Allen, I, I like this

(08:51):
regular season team, I'll put itthat way.
Yeah, keyword regular season. Yeah, right.
Right now I I like Donovan Mitchell a whole lot, but I
really like this regular season team.
And you know, maybe last year we've seen it before where teams
have to get beat and beat well to finally make a step forward.

(09:14):
And maybe that's their their future.
Especially I like Evan Mobley a lot.
I really like his defense. And now he's been able to shape
his game offensively as well, especially alongside Jared
Allen. That's some good long ball.
But then Lonzo Ball has been a great off the bench piece so far
for them. So this production, passing the
Rackles, facing the floor, playing defense, she's doing

(09:35):
everything that he can for the team.
Yeah, I I'm Alonzo fans. He you know, it's been it's been
tragic what's happened to him with his injuries and physical
ailments and now to see him be an integral part off of a off
the bench player with a good team.
This is we've seen what this team can be.
We saw them do great things in the regular season last year.

(09:58):
So you know they DeAndre Hunter also, he's playing way better
than above his tier last year. So this maybe that's the piece,
maybe that's what's going to push them ahead.
But until then I I'm interested to see if they can overcome the
team leapfrog the teams ahead ofthem beating.
The Knicks of Pistons, I just want to see, like I understand

(10:20):
the Cavs are great regular season team, but playoffs is
when it matters. Playoffs make legends.
That's when legends are made. You have to show up in the
playoffs 'cause ever since Donovan Mitchell has got there,
he's got went there like what hegot there 2022-2023.
Yeah. And ever since he's been there,

(10:41):
they're either a first round exit or a second round exit.
They can't get, they can't get to the conference final.
You have to get to the conference final.
And last year they were the first, they were the first seed
in the East. They're the first seed.
And they lost to what Indiana was, I believe, the sixth seed.
Seventh seed. Yeah, I believe last year that

(11:02):
they lost to the Pacers in the semifinals and if I if I
remember they got waxed too. It was like 4-1.
Yeah, gentleman sweep. Yeah, it was.
It was. It was.
A tough, tough pill for them to swallow.
I understand the injuries for them with Garland getting
Garland being hurt, Allen being hurt and Mobley and Donna

(11:26):
Mitchell was like a one man armyout there trying to trying to do
his best, trying to do his best, but he just couldn't pull it off
by himself. It's a team sport.
Yeah, and the last thing we're going to talk about here is the
8 and five Milwaukee Bucks. They're coming off a win right
now. The Milwaukee Bucks are in that
tier just the same. You know, Hawks, Cavaliers,

(11:48):
Bucks and the box really we've seen the last couple years that
in the playoffs outside of Giannis, ever since they broke
up that cord, that little bit ofcord they had since they won the
championship. But Drew Middleton, it's just
they've been in, they've been aneasy team to plan against to get
them out of the playoffs. Giannis the Superman or not, he

(12:10):
you know they can still shut himdown, especially when he's the
main focal point. You know, Kyle Kuzma is still
there, but and so is Bobby Portis junior, but another year
older for Bobby Portis junior. He's clearly shown signs of
slowing down in my opinion, but.Yeah, he's he's and he's not the
same player from the the 2021 run.

(12:30):
No, he's not the. Same.
He's not that same player he was'cause he was effective during
that whole playoff run. Effective.
He was the reason, I'd say he was one of the reasons why they
made the finals in and one that came back 2O.
I would agree. You know him and Lopez, you
know, shout out to Lopez as wellwhen he was the center on that

(12:51):
team. But you know, they went out and
did get Miles Turner to try and I, I guess create some spacing,
more big man spacing because Miles Turner is really not the
type of player. I think would change and he's
not that. Great.
Yeah, and. He's not that great a rebounder
as well. Yeah, so I I'm not sure what

(13:13):
this is going to end up looking like.
You know, every of course, before the season started,
everybody had been throwing Giannis his name out there for
possible trades. If it's didn't go well this
season, it's too early to tell. You know, the Bucks are in a
good position right now. So we'll see when it gets closer
to the trade deadline what's really going to happen.
But before we go on and talk about the West, man, what do we

(13:35):
got it? What do we got from our friends
at W dot GG? I think if we use our promo code
for W dot GG not move. The promo code not moved 10% no.
Same with our store not moved shop .44.

(14:00):
But yeah, what what bandos helping us out with.
There's W dot DG code not move 10% off same with our store hit
our store links not moved, we'renot moved and then also check us
out on Tuesdays and Fridays on the playback platform around the
room. It's also going to stream to all
our other platforms, YouTube, our tik toks around the room

(14:23):
where all of us not move membersget together.
We get some great questions fromour boys out there.
JBA, train, Southgate coach, allof our not Move guys, Zip ZAP,
all of our not move people, be aBando.
Been on there, it's been fun. It's been good to see where
people think. Yes, yes, yes.

(14:45):
And then lastly we got we got a Jersey giveaway.
You got you got 10 bucks. 10 bucks for raffle. 10 bucks to
enter. It's 10 bucks to answer.
You do that, you get a free jersey.
You got to, you got to enter to win 10 bucks.
That's it. 10 bucks you get 10 engines.
Spin the wheel. You could put it 5 * 10 times

(15:09):
and. Hey, you know how much those
jerseys cost? So what's, what's, what's even
40 bucks? What's even getting 4 raffles
for yourself? What's even 5 or 6 or 7?
Because honestly, in the end, it's going to be worth it.
They're they're right from the shop.
You know once you if you win, you'll get all set up for
whatever jersey you're looking for.
Yes. So now when we're going to move

(15:31):
on to the Western Conference, guess who is up top?
The Thunder. The Thunder.
The Thunder. Yeah, 11 and 1:12 and 1:00.
They're 11. They're, they're 12 and one
right now. They're on a four-game winning
streak since that last loss. I, I, I don't, I don't see

(15:52):
anybody outside of possibly the Nuggets really putting a tough
time on the Thunder this season.Unless barring any serious
injuries, which I hope does not happen because I love watching
all these guys play. This is a true.
Team and they're doing this without J Dog.
Yeah, they're doing this. Without J Dog.

(16:16):
They're. They're second best player.
And AJ Mitchell stepping up in his place, if you notice to the
rookie, I just this team seems to find great players to step in
whenever they need it. You know, whether it's intense
defense, whether it's, you know,OK, J Dubs out Mitchell, you
need to step up and provide somescoring as well.

(16:38):
They they're on a tear on on their own in the Western
Conference right now. Nobody can touch him.
Yeah. Quiet.
I'll say the only team that could beat them is Denver.
Yeah, and that's. Got the number 2 defense.
And Denver's second in the conference right now, 9:00 and

(17:01):
2:00, nine and two right now. They're on a six game-winning
streak and Denver is also benefiting right now from some
of the acquisitions they made from last year.
From this last year to this year.
Yeah. You know, even Tim Hardaway,
junior's on the bench. That's a great guy to come in

(17:22):
off the bench for some shooting. They went out and got Cam
Johnson, of course, you know, and I don't.
Jonas Valanciunas has got to be the best addition for them to
give Yokich that rest that he needs to go late in game.
So far this year, the Nuggets have done a good job of letting
Yokich not come in in the fourthquarter and having him sit for

(17:43):
like maybe the 1st 4 to 6 minutes while Valanciunas is in
there doing a great job. Yeah, get you on like 10 to give
you 101015 points, like a ton ofrebounds or double, double with
three sets forces. He's doing he's he's not getting
younger. He's not getting younger.
No, no, no. But the Nuggets, like you said,

(18:08):
I, I think they're going to be the ones hopefully that contend
with the Thunder cause the next team are the Houston Rockets.
They're eight and three. I am.
I still think Kevin Durant looksa little bit odd in this
situation so far. I don't know, Maybe it's

(18:30):
something to my untrained eye that I'm, I'm not paying
attention to. Yeah, he's getting his 20 plus
points. But, you know, it almost seems
like this is, this needs to be more of a Shangoon and Ahmed
Thompson type of team already under e-mail Adoka's system.
And maybe that's also it. Like maybe he just hasn't quite
switched over to how e-mail likes to coach, you know?

(18:52):
Yeah, he hasn't figured out the the system yet because he's
still, he's still new to the team.
It's his first season with the team.
He still new KD will get you like 2023 a game.
But my thing is with KD him in the in the later minutes of the

(19:16):
game is he's iffy. It's a little iffy for me.
A little iffy. So far this season, you're
right, he's been, he's been a little tough to to watch in the
late, late parts of these games.I think too, maybe he's more
realizing that this team really is, you know, Tari Eason's team

(19:41):
and Jabari Smith junior and AlexShangoon and Ahmed Thompson.
And he's kind of maybe just the,the guy who's just coming in,
you know, not he's, maybe he's. Veteran.
Yeah, and that's fine because, you know, like we said, he's
going to get you 22 points, 25 points a game minimum so far.
So, you know, that's he's. And then, of course, when he

(20:04):
gets in one of those games wherehe's just going to be shooting
from all over and now in every which way, that'll be great for
them. That'll ease off on some of the
defensive hardships that maybe they have to take on.
Especially, especially in the playoffs.
Especially in the playoffs. So our next team though, I know
we were talking about them yesterday, you and I personally,

(20:25):
the Lakers, nine and four Lakersso far this year sitting at 4th
in the Western Conference. Obviously Luca and Reeves, we
talked about how they've been able to take this team over and
look great. And LeBron is due to come back
on Tuesday from what everything is being reported.
So he'll be able to, we'll be able to get some look at how he

(20:47):
is going to be implemented into this line up.
What do you think they're going to do with LeBron when he gets
back? Honestly, I feel like my thing
is with LeBron, like during his time in Cleveland, in Miami, and
now he still thinks he's the manand he's not you're, you're not

(21:12):
the man anymore. You have to let the young guys
drive like Olston, Reeves, Luca, that's 13 now.
Delete. That's 13 now.
The the leak is this is the teamnow.
So I really don't know how they're going to deal with
LeBron on the floor. I don't know.

(21:32):
Because with LeBron, he's a bulldominant player.
He's bull dominant. Yeah, I, I, I, I think LeBron,
obviously. I I, I, I don't know, I think
they're going to put him at the three when he gets in.
They're going to have Austin at the two and Luke at the one.
But it, it's really going to be interesting to see where you

(21:54):
going to see more of a smaller ball line up with maybe a Rui
Vanderbilt fill out, you know, or that they going to keep Ayton
at the five. You know, because Ayton has been
performing admirable so far. He has been doing a decent job
mostly because, you know, Luke and Reeves have really taken all
the pressure of this team and you know, I like don't connect
as well. No, I like don't.

(22:15):
I like don't too. I I really like him.
I think they found a piece in him for the future.
You know, he's, I think he's going to fit in well with Luca
and them going down the line and.
The thing and the thing was Lucais I believe it was a 2024
season, 2024 season when he brought them to the finals.
He made Derek Lively and Daniel Gaffer look like a top 10

(22:36):
centre. Yeah.
He made them like a top 10 centre.
Yeah, he did. And I just think right now with
what the Lakers are doing and then LeBron coming in, I think
maybe, you know, it's going to be one of those weird couple
maybe first games where he's figuring out his role.
But you know, there's there's something to be said.

(22:57):
LeBron can adapt to any role really.
He is obviously LeBron James. It's just we'll see how this
goes on with it. This is Lucas team and Austin
Reeves team, so we'll see how that goes.
Lastly in the West is number 5 for us.
We're only covering the top fivethis week is Timberwolves.

(23:17):
Timberwolves sitting at 8:00 and4:00 and actually the Spurs are
tied with them so we could do a quick one on both of them since
they're really tied. But Timberwolves right now are
sitting there at 8:00 and 4:00 coming off a four-game winning
streak. We know who they are.
They it's it's our boy. It's our big boy, Anthony
Edwards. He's the main attraction there.

(23:38):
Julius Randall, of course, is still putting it in.
Dante D Vicenzo, What do you think about this team this year
so far? What do you see?
If I'm being honest, I really haven't been watching the
Timberwolves this season. I haven't been watching
Timberwolves this season, so I really can't tell you.
But as of I know Anthony Edwardshas made a big improvement.

(24:03):
He's made a big improvement, I give you that because you
remember last season how I was. I was feeling a little bit right
by him not being clutch, but I'mnot being being able to pass on
the double team. It's true.
Improved on that. I give him that.
But it's regular season. We're going to see what he's

(24:26):
going to do in the playoffs. Yeah, for me, I watched the game
last night because I'm like you,I haven't seen a lot of
Timberwolves game. So because I'm on the East Coast
here just like you are. So I got to see last night's
game with the Kings. And now mind you, it's the
Kings. You know, they're they're 3 and
10 right now. And I'm not going to, I'm not
going to dish on the Kings because that's the GM who's put

(24:48):
that team together. So, but you know, Anthony, he,
he had 30, you know, and then you have Randall coming in with
26, you know, and even the Vincenzo, he's coming in with
20. So it looks like from my eyes
last night, they're spreading the ball around a little bit
better. You know, even with Nazreed
coming off the bench to get his 12.

(25:08):
And we know Nazreed is more of adefensive threat there 'cause he
had two blocks, 2 steals. He's a he's a two way stretch.
Yeah, I I like Nas Reed a lot. Now, the one thing that I don't
like and I will never like is I don't like Rudy Gobert and.
I feel the same exact way. Yep, feel the same exact way.
I don't like Rudy. I mean, he plays a nice

(25:31):
defensive game, I guess. You know, he does get blocks.
He will get you blocks and rebounds.
But he, we've seen Rudy Gobert in the play offs, we've already
seen it. We already know what it looks
like and it's not changed as he's getting older.
And he had one good game last season in the play offs, one
good game 30. Yep.
And so we like you and I said it's way too early right now.

(25:53):
This team obviously might change, You know, maybe they'll
get better in the ways that we're talking about.
But right now I just I am not impressed.
And lastly, I think we could, wecan't touch real quick on the
Western Conference about the Spurs there.
It's it's been nice to see that man.
It's been nice to see the Spurs kind of come back into
competition with big Victoria when the Yama last night was a

(26:15):
great game between them and the Warriors as well.
I don't know if you caught it was.
A neck and that game it was going neck and neck with the
with the block that with the block that won't be had late
minute in the in the late seconds.
I believe the the the you won't write.
The Spurs won last night. No no, Warriors won it in the
last last One O 9 one O 8 yeah Steph put on a clinic though,

(26:42):
too. Steph at 49 last night, you know
he's still showing that he can shoot the ball from anywhere
when need be. He.
Bounced back from that game thathe had 11.
Bounced back. Yeah, and Pojemski.
I'm not much of a fan of Pojemski, but it is to be said
that he had a decent game off the bench, 3 rebounds, 3 assists
with his 10 points. Spurs though, they they

(27:04):
intrigued me. It's it's, they're an
interesting team right now because they're they're young,
but they also have a lot of mental mistakes.
It seems like it late in the airin the games where you know,
they're not given the the main attraction, the ball late later
in the games as much as they should.
Last night seemed to be a littlebit part of that.
But Wendy, I don't see how he isnot going to be defensive player

(27:27):
of the year if he keeps playing the way he is.
How many how many blocks is he averaging this season?
3. 3 1/2. Let me pull up the numbers right
last night he had three so last night he had three blocks.
As of right now, he is the leader in the block category in

(27:49):
all of the NBA and he is averaging 3.6.
He has a total 43 blocks this season just in he's on an
incredible pace. It's it's good to see him.
Also, he bulked up and he looks bigger and he looks like he's
ready to take all the punishmentthat this leak.
Can dish out I love I love that Wendy's healthy and I'm glad

(28:09):
that those doctors found that blood clot early.
Yeah, we don't wish to see anybody anyway.
Bad like that. Right, right then.
So who do you think? In your opinion, what rookies
have you really liked this year so far?
Before we get out of here, let'stouch on the rookies because I
like. I like VJI, like VJ had to call

(28:32):
from Philly Cooper flag. I'm a little like, it's like
5050 with him. Yeah.
But but VJ has been putting on the clinic lately on the both
sides of the ball, on offensive side and on the defensive side.
I think I think you're right with VJ.

(28:53):
He's cooled off the last couple games, but I he's the biggest
pleasant surprise that I did notexpect for this so far.
So I like it. I like what I'm seeing.
And then who else are you looking at besides we are you
touched on Cooper flag? Who else is a guy that you're
looking at so far out of the rookies?

(29:16):
I'll say one of my rookies, whatwhat's his name?
I think it's die or something. I don't know how.
I don't know how to pronounce his name but.
I'll pull it up here for you. So we got Tyler Kolek.

(29:43):
Oh, Pocom, Dadier the French. Yes, the.
French or Mohammad Diarwa Diarwayeah the Frenchman OK yeah he
has been pretty good for you guys so far this year the one
the one that I've been liking towatch two of them actually is I
love concanupel for sure I'm. Going to bring him up too.

(30:04):
I really like Khan. I think that team is their
surprising team, man. I I don't think they're going to
do anything, obviously, because that's how Charlotte is.
They're just not a team to take seriously really until until
they show they're going to be serious.
Have fun. That's what they do is have fun.
Yeah, yeah. But I think if you get someone
like Khan, Canoopa more involvedin there, that's a team that

(30:26):
still has brand. You know, they still have
Brandon Johnson, they still haveLamello Ball.
They can put something together or Brandon Miller, sorry,
Brandon Miller. Like they could put something
together. They're a good young squad.
They're they're on the up and coming.
Yeah. And then the last rookie I think
I like a lot is from the Pelicans, Jeremiah Fierce.

(30:50):
They just of course let go of their coach today.
Or was it yesterday? And.
They're what they're sitting at 2:00 and 10:00 I believe.
Yeah, sitting at 2:00 and 10:00,they let him go after five
seasons of inconsistency. I think also, we have to admit
there a lot of things out of hiscontrol, right Coach Willie

(31:10):
Green So, but I, I like fairs. I think he's done a good job
given all the circumstances and it'll be interesting to see how
his progression moves on with a new coaching change.
Yes. But I think that's is there
anything else you want to touch on before we get on out of here,
Bando? How about we do?

(31:32):
Who do we think is going to win MVPDPY and all those other
stuff? Yeah, you got it bro.
So which one do you want to start with?
I'll start with the MVP. Me personally, I, it's me I
believe is between using these three players, Giannis Jokic and

(31:57):
that's yeah, it's between those 3, but I don't know who to pick
'cause they are bowling out thisseason.
All three of those guys in the game, in the game that that
Jokic had 50 something with 23 shots.
To get out of here, right? Oh my gosh, yeah.

(32:19):
The fact that you could put up 50 some I think yeah, like 53 or
56 or something like that or 23 shots attempted on a + 21 on top
of that triple double like that mean it's something else.

(32:41):
But I feel like it's probably going to go to, I'll say Jokic.
I I really think Yokic is going to win everything this year.
So the only wild card for me is if the Lakers do well and Luka
Doncic keep scoring at the pace that he's scoring, I could see
voters going his way for an MVP.So I really think it's between

(33:05):
Jokic, STA and Luka because yeah, Giannis, I, I know he's a
great player and everything. We always know he's a great
player, but he's had his MVPS inthe past and I think maybe you
know, if we're looking at down the line, if Luca is able to
keep up the space and keep playing, he's worthy of
consideration. That was that was another one of

(33:25):
my picks for MVP. But the game that he had, a lot
that he had against OKC, he didn't have that great, that
great of a game. No, no he didn't.
No, he didn't. But you.
Know so. Yeah.
And we're we're, we're going to see maybe how this, like we

(33:47):
said, LeBron and being injected back into the team, how that's
going to work for him. So defensive player of the year,
who do you think's going to takeit this year?
I'm pretty sure. I'm pretty sure you and I, Yep,
Wendy. Wendy is Wendy is Wendy if he
doesn't get DPI. This shit is right.

(34:08):
Yeah, I, I don't see how it's not going to be Wendy giving
everything he's doing. He's not only blocking the ball,
he's stealing the ball. He's shutting off the whole
lane. He really is the alien.
I mean he's just his length. He's going out there and tipping
3 point shots. So I'm being if I'm being.
He is a human monstar. Yeah, that's the perfect way to

(34:34):
describe it. Like he's a human monstar.
Oh man, So what about then the rookie of the year?
We talked about it, but who do you think's ultimately going to
win it? Is between these two guys is
between VJ and Cooper flag, but I'm leaning I'm leaning towards

(34:58):
VJ. I I think Cooper is going to end
up winning it just cause all thehype.
If he keeps playing the way he is lately, you know, given all
everything that's going on with Dallas, with Nico finally being
removed and all the drama that'sbeen surrounding them, if he's

(35:19):
still able to put up like 16 points a game, 15 points a game
with the the assist numbers, they're going to give it to
Cooper. But I'd like to, if Con Canupal
keeps playing the way he is, I want to see him win it.
He has been on fire and I would love to see him.
I would love to see him win it. Who do you think is going to win

(35:40):
the Six Man of the Year award? This is tricky for me.
It is tricky. I don't know who's going to win
the six man. Yeah, in the in the beginning of
the season, like obviously we knew Peyton Pritchard wasn't
going to be able to win it because he's got to have more of
a role now with everybody else. Say six, man, I really don't
know. Honest, I don't know.

(36:03):
Yeah, that that's an award. I.
Really don't know last year. No, Peyton Pritchard won it last
year. All you all.
Yeah, he did. He did win it last year.
Yeah, and then Malik Beasley, wewas right after he was right
there in the voting as well. I, I think that one is, is so
hard to predict until like at least after the All Star break.

(36:25):
But like, cuz Russ, you know, hewas on the bench to begin this
season with Sacramento then and now he's starting, you know, he
there something like that may happen or someone gets promoted
to a starter who was on the bench.
So we'll have to see by the end of the season.
Now, do you have any predictionson who we're going to see for

(36:45):
all NBA in the East? All NBA first and second team.
First team, who do you think is for all NBA?
I would say Anthony Edwards, probably I, I gotta put in my,
my captain Jalen Brunson, cause the way he has been bowling this

(37:09):
season, even though he's injuredright now, the way he's been
bowling, he's averaging close to30 points a game with what I
believe 6-7 assists. So I'll put him in there.
I would have put, I'll put him in there.
And then probably Giannis, Giannis as well.

(37:33):
I don't know about the other guys.
I really don't know 'cause this season is like it just started.
So like, you really don't know. Yeah, I think I think for like
if I'm going since you're sayingthe East, if I'm going the West,
like I think Shay is someone who's definitely going to be on

(37:53):
there if he. Yeah, Shay, I think Luca
definitely. So there's your one and two.
Now that this this is where it gets tricky is for the rest of
it because like I don't know who's going to emerge in the
Western Conference in those spots like Shangoon right now

(38:14):
could be considered for first team.
Honestly, if at the four and then of course, Jokic at the
five, but then there's a a plethora of players, like even
Wendy could be there. You know, we don't know how the
season's going to shape up, but even Devin Booker could be on
there for me, too. So.
It's, it's really up in the air,right?
Now Devin Booker has been playing, He has been I'm going

(38:37):
to be on. He's been carrying that Sun's
team his whole career. He's.
Yeah, the Suns right now, the Suns right now are in 7th.
The Suns are in 7th in the West they're eight and 6th are 8 and
five. They're on A5 game-winning
streak right now. The Suns, they're they're trying
to put something together, giving all the struggles.

(38:58):
So but hey, Bando, next time when we come back here, we're
going to go through some more ofthese games that we've had since
the Emirates Cup 2 is going on right now.
I'm not really a fan of the Emirates Cup.
I hate. That, yeah.
Other than seeing the cool courts, I'm out, I'm out.

(39:19):
But we're going to we're going to get back with it and update
on our favorite teams. Like, I know I'm wearing an
Orlando cap, I'm from Pittsburgh, we don't have an NBA
team, but I really. Come over here, I.
Root for the Spurs. I root for the Spurs in the West
and I've always been partial to the Magic.
So but you know, I can be swayed.

(39:43):

Are You A Charlotte?

Are You A Charlotte?

In 1997, actress Kristin Davis’ life was forever changed when she took on the role of Charlotte York in Sex and the City. As we watched Carrie, Samantha, Miranda and Charlotte navigate relationships in NYC, the show helped push once unacceptable conversation topics out of the shadows and altered the narrative around women and sex. We all saw ourselves in them as they searched for fulfillment in life, sex and friendships. Now, Kristin Davis wants to connect with you, the fans, and share untold stories and all the behind the scenes. Together, with Kristin and special guests, what will begin with Sex and the City will evolve into talks about themes that are still so relevant today. "Are you a Charlotte?" is much more than just rewatching this beloved show, it brings the past and the present together as we talk with heart, humor and of course some optimism.
