All right, listen, we going to get we going to get right into
this man. We know we've been away for a
minute. You know, we, we, we, we missed

a couple of segments, you know, I mean due to some personal
reasons, but we back now, right we back we're going to give
y'all all all the Pittsburgh fans, all the football fans when
they need to know about the Pittsburgh's till we going to
give y'all a little something something.
So we going to jump right into it.
We going to recap last week realquick.
Last week was debacle, right? You know, it's, it's, it's

becoming, it is, it's starting to become a trend with Mike
Tommy's teams being able to playlights out one week and then the
next week come in and playing subpar.
Not being able to put 2, not being to sustain 2 dominant
weeks in a row. You know what I mean?
This has been a Mike Tomlin trend.

Along with collapsing at the endof the season.
It has been a Mike Tomlin thing.You know what I mean?
I don't this is this is one reason why me personally, I want
him out of Pittsburgh. I've wanted him out of
Pittsburgh for probably 9 or 10 years now.
This is no secret. But yeah, last week our defense

was on the field almost a full quarter more than our offense,
almost a full quarter. I think it was something like 37
minutes to 22 minutes of time ofpossession, almost a full
quarter. Our defense is on the field
more. It's only but so much a defense
can do when they're on the field45 minutes of an hour game, it

doesn't make any sense. It just doesn't make any sense
what you got to say about that grill.
So yeah, that's one thing we were looking at off camera here
and we were discussing is just the time of possession in
general for the Steelers was atrocious last game for the
offense. You know, they only totaled 22
minutes of possession throughoutthe game to the Chargers, 37
minutes. So the Chargers basically got a

whole half and then some of possession, you know, the
Steelers longest drive ended up in a missed field goal.
That was in the first quarter when they had held the ball for
5 minutes, ended up being a missed field goal.
The Chargers several occasions, you know, you look at their
drives, they're they're even their punt drives are going 3
minutes. They're still holding the ball

for three minutes before they got a punt.
You know, and one big thing for this is our offense look scared.
That's the first game I can really point to in this season
so far where it was Aaron Rodgers who looked scared.
It was even, you know, that leftside of the line that against a
mediocre Chargers rush. I'm not going to sugarcoat it.

The Chargers are not that good of a defense in general.
This this is a team that we should have had well in hand at
least been competitive. You know, yeah, they're 4th
overall in total defense, but you know, the Chargers are easy
to run against. They're 13th, you know, and then
even in the scoring, I mean, even in red zone, you know, they

may be third, but the Steelers had an opportunity with injuries
on the Chargers to take it to them.
And they just look like they were I'll equipped.
I mean, as soon as the safety happened, it was you could see
the dominoes just all fall straight from there.
You knew that. This is just like you said, one
of those Mike Tomlin under coached prime time games.

One of those games where I don'tknow if he thinks the allure of
the Steelers and the the lore from this team, the black and
gold is what makes them win. It seems like that's all he
relies on, right? Coach man.
Listen. His lack of preparation, his
lack of game preparation for theweek, it shows.

It shows. It shows in our performances.
Right. It shows in the performances, it
shows in the play calls. I mean you have bookend
replacements and tackle on defense and it took them into
the 4th possession of the of thecharges to run a stunt.

You didn't challenge the tacklesat all.
You didn't challenge them at all.
You let them be comfortable the whole game.
You gave them nothing to look. You gave them nothing to to
scratch their heads about, no type of scheme to to to confuse
them for blocking his eye, No twist right, No delays, nothing

for them to be like, oh, I got to look out.
You gave them nothing. You allowed them to just sit
there and just play, basically. A high school football scheme
was though your Ed Rogers just came up there.
The Ed Rogers, the Ed Rogers just just right now.
That was it. That was it.
There was there was nothing thatwas it.

You know, T JS getting chipped and double team like you notice,
right, You you didn't you didn'tloop him around.
You know what I mean? You didn't loop him around.
Have have have Harmon or or Hayward come around the other
nothing. You didn't do nothing.
I mean, like, This is why I put all the blame on my Tommy dog,

because you hired these coaches,you hired these coordinators.
Yes, Sir. You have carte blanche on who's
on your sideline and you keep hiring like this.
Listen, and I'll never forget this.
You fire Bruce Arians, you hire Mack Canada like no, it is like

like like this. I just, I just don't have no
other word for you. We have Blind Flores.
On our staff, because you hired him after he was released from
Miami, you hired him for the rest of the season.
You had him on your staff. You let him go when you hired
Terrell Austin like this. These are the things like these

are the things I, I can't ignore.
You can't ignore these things, right?
And coach, there's one thing that happened last week that I
think might be finally a good thing out of this loss.
An unidentified player has a video that got leaked of him
yelling and criticizing Mike Tomlin.
A finally poor leadership questioning even his football

knowledge. You know, it's finally starting
to seep down into the ranks. It's finally starting to get its
way through the soil and start to grow and germinate, right?
These players are finally realizing that this guy's
leadership has reached its limit.
He has gotten too comfortable, like you're saying, hiring the
wrong people for the roles, almost in a dismissive way.

If you think about it when you're hiring some of these guys
into their roles, the only one Iwill say is, you know, Art
Smith, they went out and grabbedbecause he was really the only
one that they could grab at thattime.
And I don't like the hiring, butthat was the only real good to
midway offensive coordinator that they really but but but.
But. But, but, but Terrell Austin is

inexcusable. But remember Grim.
But remember Grim. They was remember Grim.
They were looking for the enemy.True, but the.
Enemy was out there. B enemy and and there was
another report saying B Enemy didn't want to come to
Pittsburgh. Yeah, I'm about to say yes.
Yeah, because listen and and hey, look and like I listen, I,

I, I brought this up before by Mike Newcheck, our line coach
that said he left because he wanted to be with his family in
Denver. He want to have family issues,
want to be closer to his family in Denver, Co.
Yeah, but why is it that you areconsulted in LA for the rings?
I'm just, hey, I'm just trying to figure this out.

No, I'm just trying to figure itout.
Yeah, and and, and back to the game, too, like with this
leadership being in question. I mean, it's you're starting to
see, and I know Rogers had a badgame last week.
We can all point to it and really finally criticize him.
It's probably his worst game he's had in the Steelers uniform
thus far. You know, but to be fair,

there's not a lot you can do when your offense isn't moving
the ball. You know you're only going to
get so much time, but it's seeped down into these ranks
where you're seeing guys, even Hayward after the game, voicing
frustration with leadership. You're seeing TJ Watt voicing
vague and veiled frustration with leadership.
These guys aren't coming out andsaying it because their locker

room leaders, but they're kind of coming out and saying it
without having the words directly fall out.
Of their mouth between. The lines, you know exactly what
they're saying. Yeah, so it it it really is
boiling over. And you know, it's something
though that happens afterwards, of course, is Rooney come out
and said, you know, our future is is not going to not have Mike

(10:11):
Tomlin. He came out and said that I
guess two days after the game where he thinks Mike Tomlin is
in integral part for the growth of this team to get back to
contending for Super Bowls or even just getting a playoff win.
And I'm really just hoping he said that because it's the
middle of the season. That's the only reason that
because there we know they're not going to fire a coach in the

middle of the season. The Steelers do not do that type
of firing. They wait either until the end
of the season or the end of 10 seasons without a playoff win.
So we, we don't, we, I, I fully expect him to be here next year
simply because he got the extension.
But his leadership ways are not working.
It's finally boiling over and I hope it keeps boiling over until

the end of the season. And honestly, if it takes this
team to go 7 and 10 for that message to be received, then
this team needs to go 7 and 10. Yeah.
Hey, listen, I listen. I am way ahead of you.
Listen, I've been saying when, when, when the wiggly were one
and five, everybody's like, oh, well, you're still about to walk

away with the division. And I said, and I said you too,
what, what what Steelers? I'm like, have y'all not have
y'all not have y'all not watchedthe Steelers these these last
7-8, nine years? Have y'all not.
Watched them? Have y'all not watched them
collapse? I mean, are we forgetting we
finished 2020 eleven and five and started 11 and Oh well, we.

Are we not forgetting last year we were nine and three, finished
ten and seven? Like are we, are we forgetting
these things? No.
He collapses at the end of the season are that's the one
consistency that Talman has brought is our collapse at the
end of the season. Yeah, it's it's it's really,

it's really interesting if you just go back these last couple
years just looking like you saidit, everything right last year,
what did we do? We lost the last four games of
the season and then lost the playoff game.
You know, 2023 yes, they won thelast three games of the season,
but they also have lost the previous three before that and
lost to the Buffalo Bills in theplayoffs. 2022 you're looking

at, Yeah, they, they won those last games, but that they went
nine and eight that year, finished third in the North and
didn't even make the playoffs, you know, 2021, same thing.
They're just so inconsistent at the end of the season when they
need to come on strong. You know, right now, you know,
the Chargers, we, we lose that game 25 to 10.

Steelers are still sitting atop the NFC, the AFC North at 5:00
and 4:00. But today's game between
Baltimore and Cleveland can change all that.
And the Steelers and Bengals, today's games can change that
completely. With the Steelers loss and
Baltimore win, they're even for the division right then and
there. And with the Bengals getting to
win, if they do win today, they're four and six and they're

starting to come right up behind.
Like we said, if Steelers didn'tput the wins away that they
needed to put a put the wins away like the Chargers.
Yes, the Chargers have been a decent team this year.
They are in competition to win that division with the Broncos
as of right now on paper, you know, but that's a game the
Steelers had, they could have won, they should have won, and

that would have put them in a much better spot in the AFC
North. Now, like everyone said, Lamar's
back. He's starting to lead that
offense. We saw it last week.
You know, Joe Flacco, if he's playing today against the
Steelers on the Bengals, we could see another 3331 loss if
they're not playing their cards right.
This, this today is a very important, important day in the

AFC North, no. Absolutely, absolutely.
And I said this last week that that game last week against the
Chargers, that was a huge game because of playoff implications
as far as head to And then when it came down to it, it would it
would've came down to it. Let's just say, let's just say

we finished the same record as the Chargers, right?
We finished with the same record.
Let's say Ravens come back winning division, but we
finished with the same record asthe Chargers.
Now we get bumped out because they automatically only had
that. That's why I was so important.
Like that game, right? There was a huge that that had
huge, it had huge implications on whether or not the AFC North

would send two teams to the playoffs or the AFC West sending
three teams. You know what I mean?
Because of their head to Typical Mike Thomas style

Pittsburgh football. Against the team that we're
picked to lose against and as opposed to dog walkers we
prepare for, we have a good gameplan, prepare for them during
the week properly and then we goout there, we compete.
We are, we either really competeand it's a good game or we win.
And then here comes the team that we're really match up wise

are supposed to be we're supposed to win this game.
OK, with the way the defense wasplaying, with the with the
injuries to the charges offensive line, we're supposed
to win this game. What do we do?
We shouldn't have. Been now here we are today.
Now with Cincinnati, here we aretoday.
Now with Cincinnati. We're supposed to win this game.

Let's see what happens because I'm going to be honest with you,
dawg, and I said it. I don't have no faith in anybody
that has a headset on and still with apparel on the sideline.
I just don't get no confidence in you.
I don't have no confidence in you.
I don't like how you game plan. I don't like how you prepare our
team. I don't like the end game
adjustments you do. Because a lot of times you don't

even make no end game adjustments.
A lot of times, like Graham, howmany times do we have to sit
back and watch our defensive line just go straight?
No stunts, no twist, no nothing.No, no, no and.
How many how many times do we have to watch T have to watch TJ
Watt not contain the edge? Yo, that third down conversion

when Weston A ran right past him.
Herbert ran right but right. He ran right inside of TJ.
Right there, like what are we paying you for if you're not
going to do the job that you're supposed to do?
I get yes, sack machine. Let's let's glorify the sacks,
especially when they're on firstor second down, not when it
matters on 3rd down. You know, he's supposed to

contain the edge and he's letting guys right run outside
or right inside of them, just like you're Speaking of with the
last game. What what's going on here?
I mean, you can't let frustration boil over so much
that you forget the the point ofyour position.
Yeah, for real. I mean for real.
I mean, listen, and I tell people this all the time, A edge
rusher's job is to contain the outside, seal the edge.

(17:26):
Squeeze down on the. Sea gap make everything bounce
out to you. OK, you stretch it out whatever.
Sacks are a bonus. Sacks are a bonus.
Your primary objective is to seal the edge, contain the
outside. That is your primary objective.

(17:49):
We get caught up in these sets and we forget the we forget
these guys primary fucking objective in positions because
you got to remember when that position was designed.
When football they weren't passing the ball.
So I don't care about no sacks. The primary objective is to

(18:10):
contain and seal the edge in which we are not doing.
No and and where. The hell is the law about where
the hell is Queen at? That's going to be filling that
gap anywhere. Queen is getting beat and
secondary blocking, second stageblocking like like I've never

(18:31):
seen before. Last year it didn't seem he was
this bad. You know, we thought last year
was a down year for him. This year he's just getting
absolutely manhandled. And 2nd, as soon as those guards
or tackles are coming up in the second stage to take care and
even a running backs, even the lead blocking backs, he is
getting manhandled. And here's another problem.
It's not just him, it's not justhim either.

(18:54):
You know, I'm actually kind of glad Highsmith is out today for
the simple fact that when we seeHerbig and in his position,
Herbig seems like he's been doing a lot better job than
Highsmith. So I'm interested to see
Highsmith sit out today, get rested up, no problem.
Herbig's going to come in, I hope, and do a better job.

(19:14):
He seems to be the one that should have been in this role
this whole time because whether it's a Highsmith injury or
Highsmith mistake, he is not consistent enough for my liking
to be at that point part of the defense.
But you know what? Another guy today who's out,
which I'm very glad Darius Slay is out because he has been
absolute garbage on the corner this year.

(19:37):
I can't count the number of times I go back and watch a
replay and watch him give up on coverage on a one-on-one against
the receiver or even not even goafter the tackle after they've
caught the ball. Just does a light little push or
a light little slap to get he is.
I was questionable about his signing in the offseason given
the injury history and now I I just feel absolutely justified

(19:58):
in questioning it just from watching his lack of coverage.
Yeah, and then they go and sign Asante Samuel Junior to the
practice squad. Yeah.
So we are. No, we know.
We know about his injury. It took him all this time to
even get medically cleared, evenbe signed.
Yep. You know what I mean?
So again, here we go. Making moves for players that

(20:24):
are even question that are either questionable or past
their time. Like it's just like, listen, the
the Omar Khan experiment, get rid of them.
I'm, I'm, I'm pretty, I'm kind of done with him too, right,
'cause you went out and you got a bunch of brand name T-shirts.

You know, you, you paid extra money because of the, because of
the label, because the emblem onthe T-shirt, when really it's
just a corner store T-shirt. It's a $10 T-shirt, but you
wouldn't pay $3540 for it because it had a polo horse on
it. All we paid for was names.
We paid for names. We didn't pay for production.

We didn't go out and get guys because they had lights out
seasons last year. We went and paid guys, called
their name or was purely their name or what they had done in
previous years. Not all what they did last year,
not all was something they did and in the off season off of a

purely what they did years ago on other teams.
Is what we saw dog? Like I said, it was like going
to, it was like going to Marshalls.
And like I said, you got T-shirts on this that got no,
that got no, they got no, they got no emblem on them.
So you know, these teachers are $10 and then you go over here

and you got these T-shirts. These T-shirts got swoops and
polo horses and shit like that on, on, on the T-shirt.
And these T-shirts are $35.00. So you know what?
Because they got the emblem on them.

He's 41 years old where we knew that his his accuracy wasn't
going to be all there. But at the same time, DK Doll,

You figured that he would want to go ahead and flex and show us
some of that physicality, especially with how hard he
works out and how hard he works out in the offseason.
And and one thing that I I'm really worried about is how long
is it going to be until Jalen Warren just finally is to beat
up to run the ball? He is our number one offensive

producer really throughout this whole part of the season.
You know, last week he was the number one guy, 70 rushing
yards, but which obviously was not enough.
You know, we're going to keep. We got to we got to keep relying
on him so much even in the passing game and he's just going
to break down. You know, I don't think Jalen

(24:05):
Warren even pictured that he wasgoing to be heavily featured so
much given that, you know, they drafted Johnson for these
purposes that they're not using them for for 3rd down back.
You know, well, let's put him onthe kickoff where he's never
done anything before. They're not utilizing Johnson.
Gainwell, you know, even though he'll get in for a couple
spurts, is still this this offense confounds me, the

(24:29):
defensive calls confound me. And you know, today against a
highly potent offense from the Bengals, you know, last week
they they lost, but they scored 42 points the week before that.
And that's how they get they hadtwo weeks to prepare for us,
too. Yeah, yeah, they've had a bye

week to watch the Steelers get ruined and ruin themselves
against the Chargers. And so then they have the extra
week to run over even the game film of when they beat us
earlier in the season, 3130 thirty, 3031.
You know, they put up even before the Bears, they put up 39
or 38 points on The Jets lost. You know, there it's this

Bengals team can put up firepower.
And if that happens today, I could see another Steelers 28 to
30 loss or even another 33 to 31.
It's it's, it's they can't play consistently.
The defense, Terrell Austin refuses to to try and mix things
up. It's all just zone coverage.

Let's use Ramsey as the nickelback straight bull rush.
No, I just and. I'll tell you one thing, I want
to see if he puts Joey Porter junior on Higgins to jam him at
the line to slow down them quickslants and all that stuff that
they did that that they did in the in the previous week.

Because if you keep sending him,if you keep having him play off
right, if he keeps playing off and he has to keep telling these
guys down field, y'all know he'snot patient.
You know he's handsy. You know he's physical and
what's going to happen, PIPI, what they have, what they, I

think between him and Reyes whenthey have four or five beyond
the first time. Something like that.
He definitely, he got called quite a few times.
They he got picked on a lot in that first game.
Joey Porter junior got picked oncompletely in that game, you
know, and they, that was the game.
Also, if you remember, they threw straight, what was it,
three straight 10 yard outs in arow where Jamar Chase beat

Ramsey three straight times in arow.
It was the same route 3 times right in a row with Ramsey,
one-on-one with Chase and he gotbeat all three times in a row.
So. And and then to seal the game
with the fade, to seal the game with the fade.
When, when, when, when the when he slayed when.
Higgins slayed inside the fire to just keep the field goal to

win the game. Yeah, it it This game does not
bode well. You know, a lot of experts out
there are picking the Steelers to come back and win just
because they're at home. One thing I do want to point
out, field conditions might be rough today.
Pitt, Notre Dame played at Ackershire yesterday.
So we're probably going to see some new sod rolled out in the
middle because that's where mostof the focus is.

Whether or not that has an effect on the game.
It does need to be noted becausein the past, so far this year,
there have been complaints from both teams that play when it's
the Steelers and an opponent if there has been a game beforehand
because the fields just not up to NFL standards.
So. I'll be honest with you and and
because they share the stadium on the week that we have a home

game, Pitt should not be there. No, Pitt.
Pitt. That's a whole different
conversation, obviously, becausePitt is the one who actually
ruined their own. They're they, they wanted to
tear down that field and build up that Olympic.
Their athletic director was all involved in that Olympic

When they anytime they play in the same weekend, it's always
