of the Not Movie Podcast, WWE Edition.
My name is Robert and right beside me we got Tisha and we're
going to go over the WWE. So let's let's go ahead and
start off talking about John Cena.
I mean, when he came out to start off, he got a loud, loud
pop like it was. It was something special.

(01:29):
Yeah, that part blew the roof off the stadium.
It was huge. I mean, he had some really
pretty cool and big matches there.
So of course they were sad to see him, especially for the last
show. So I was, I wasn't surprised of
just how just how crazy the fanswere with it.

(01:52):
But man, it had my screen shaking.
I was like, wow, I was watching it.
I was like, wow, yeah. I was there like hunky boy, no.
No, you good. Go ahead.
No. So yeah, no, my surround sound,
like you know how you can hear the bass just shake?

It was crazy. The pop was just crazy.
And then he came out and we werewrong about this part.
John Cena will not be the 5th member of War Games.
Yeah, he'll be facing Dominic Mysterio for the
Intercontinental Championship. And we got a we got a great

match. We had Dominic Mysterio in the
Judgment Day versus John Cena Sheamus and Rey Mysterio.
What's your thoughts match? I mean, you know, I'm a huge
Dominic Mysterio fan, so him coming out, shooting the promo,
getting all the the the booze and the hype that he does.
I mean, to start off, the match was actually pretty good to see

Ray Masiro come back. You know, he was trying to be,
you know, he'd be mad at the son, but excuse me.
But you could tell he was like really proud of the son and
everything. And the match was good.
I mean you had three legends versus, you know, 3 soon to be
legends, I mean, and JD McDonald, Finn Balor and Dominic

Material. So All in all it was a good
match. JD Madonna always, you know,
he's not like a big like star name, but like that man every
time he's in a match is always putting on bangers.
Like he's always performing likecrazy.
And you know Dom with his heel work is really good.

(03:39):
Then Balor, you know he can't touch him.
He is always putting out phenomenal work.
So and All in all it was a good match between all six men.
I enjoyed it. And then we like they all copied
each other's moves. We got, we got to see him use
Sheamus move and John Cena's move.
And then we had we have Rey Mysterio.

And you know what's funny? When they went to go do
Sheamus's move, Rey Mysterio hadto get on the 2nd row.
I saw. That and I was just like, Oh my
God, how short are you compared to your son?
He had. To go the second row.
I thought he was. If he would have flipped over, I
would have just passed out laughing kind of like #1 Jeff

Hardy, not Jeff Hardy. Matt Hardy was on the 2nd row
trying to do his interest with the when he had the three hands
up and then he flipped over. It was like a Smackdown match.
This is some years ago. But yeah, I was expecting to see
something like that happen. I was like, oh, he's going to
fall over. Yeah, that would have just made

it more funny. But it was a it, it was a great
match. And then after, after that
match, we had, I'm pretty sure it was the Becky Lynch match.
Yeah, I think so. I actually, yeah, That was with
Maxine Dupree, which that was a good match.

Before that we had Stephanie Vapira try to come out and cut a
promo to let them know how she felt about Bella and Nikki Bella
attacked her. Girl, put your boots up, put
your boots away and go home. Nikki, like good grief, isn't
terrible like you are. They are shoving her down our

throats and I cannot. Like Stephanie Vicaria is a
great technical wrestler and there is no reason why she's
wrestling Nikki like I don't. I know there's a Bella Nation,
Bella Army out there that love Nikki Bella, so you know you're
getting those fans, but I'm justlike, bro, girl, you can't
wrestle. You can't even cuddle.

The problem isn't bad. But if they give her the title,
I'm going to be done. Is a great rising star and she's
just getting better by the moment.
Don't take the title away from her to give it to Nikki.
I mean, my question is, did theyjust run out of opponents
because everybody's getting injured or, you know, it's war

games. So everybody's like, mostly in
war games you're big top stars. So, like, did you run out of
people and was like, here you go, Nikki, like, oh, he couldn't
do anybody. There wasn't even a storyline,
really. It was just like, let's be
friends. And then the next the next

Monday, then it was like, I'm going to beat up my friend.
Like let's, but it was so predictable.
Like it was I was gay, right? Yeah, it was.
It was too predictable. And when when they had that
match with Quail and Stephanie, like at first we all knew it was

going to happen, but we just didn't know when it was going to
happen. And then after the match, he got
the title and hit it with it. It was just like why?
Why? And do you know what they could
have build it up a little bit more?
It was just so rushed. Like as soon as I saw it the
first week, I was like, guarantee you.

Second week she's gonna hit her in the back with something like
she's looking back on the back. And then the second week I'm
like, yeah, y'all rushing through it.
Y'all was just like, let me just, you know, give you
something like. Yeah, that that wasn't it.
So then after that we had Which one was it?
There was two of them. We had Javon Evans and Gunther.

What was it, fellow? Which one was first?
Hold on one second. Somebody just said, can you say
hi to Hughes Jazz? Oh my God, read it anyway, what

was the next match? We it was either Gunther and
Solo or Gunther and Yvonne Evansor Solo.
It was and solo and Dolph Ziggler.
No, Yeah, 'cause it was solo andDon Ziggler.
Yep. Oh, so good to see Dolph Ziggler
back. As soon as I heard the music I

was like, yes, Oh my goodness. I can say I was talking about my
prediction. I.
I was like. Oh, I was like, OK, here we go.
We got Jericho, we got Edge, like they're going to be right
here. And then they ended up being
Dodge Diller. I'm like, this is even better.
And then I thought he was going to win.

And then they had solo win and Iwas like, for what?
Like Dodge Diggler was a good option for the win solo.
I mean, what's the point? And Diggler.
So I mean, hope, hopefully we get them back a couple more
times. I was like, come on, man.

Yeah, I mean, he was like, when I first saw it, I was like,
Zilla's about to come out, Zilla's about to be here.
Then I saw Dolph Ziggler come back and I was like, I got the
kid. The kid in me came out and I was
like, whoa, let's go. He looks great.
Yeah, he looks like he still gotit.

So maybe we'll see him. Maybe we'll see him more
hopefully, but the match itself,I mean, it was a tough fighting
match. They both look great.
I mean, Solo was doing great andI'm glad there wasn't no
interference in the match. I'm glad Taller Tongue didn't
come in and interfere. It was just a straight up

one-on-one. Yeah, I was happy with that too.
I mean, it was a great match, but I just wish he would have
won, man. It wouldn't make more sense.
A lot more sense. Yeah, I just don't see.
And we know Solo's not going to be the final person he, Johnson
and Russell. So it was just like, it would

have been more sense to have DonZiller because they'll be like,
oh, we know he could advance even more further.
That's when we were like, we know Solo's not doing it, so why
push it forward? But you know, with the inner
work as AW, maybe they only likehad him back for just this this
one time. So it was like a one match
contract or whatever. Yeah, so hopefully not.

Hopefully not. Yeah, hopefully, hopefully we'll
see more. But before we saw Javon Evans
and Gunther, we had the women's come out.
Well, Alexa Blitz came out and let's trying to talk to
Charlotte. So she went to the screen and to

basically told Charlotte after this, after the friendship, this
is what you gonna do. And next thing you know, here
comes the Oscars team with NIA Jacks, Lash Legend and I can
never get the other ones named Kyrie saying right, Yep.

And they came out and surroundedher.
Next thing you know, here comes Rhea and EO.
And then as they're getting jumped, Charlotte Flair comes
out with kendo stick and takes out takes out Lash Legend and
NIA Jax. I mean, what's your thoughts on
that? I mean, they're like All in all,

(11:40):
good segue. I was trying to, I was hoping to
see if they had another who was going to be like the 5th member
on East side to come out. They didn't really show us that,
but it was nice that they did that to have Charlotte basically
come back in to defend her friend.
Because if for a minute I was like, oh, she's going to be out,

'cause she don't treat us, Rita,she doesn't want to do that.
But you know, for Alexa, yeah, she came back just for her.
So All in all, I think it was a good segue of how the team is
going to come together. So I was, I was happy with it.
Yeah, it was, it was great. So, and technically I mean going

into this next match, we can actually talk about who the 5th
member 'cause I forgot about this match is for War Games.
Yep. The Becky Lynch and Maxine.
So Becky Lynch is going to go take the, what's it called, the
turnbuckle off. And here comes AJ Lee out with

her music. The this track.
Becky Lynch for Maxine can get the win and Maxine got the win.
Congratulations to Maxine, by the way.
Yeah, I mean, it's a it's a lot better than Becky Lynch.
Sorry, I'm not really a fan of Becky Lynch.

Yeah, I'm not a Becky Lives fan either.
I'm just kind of like it's time to pass the tours to the other
girls. Like you know how there are some
that just the kind of job for the new up and coming stars.
It's about her time to do that. But she was needed to give the

fans like make the fans pay moreattention to the IC title
because before, like it just wasn't getting as much trash.
And like Laira Vicaria did her thing, but it was starting to
lose its traction, kind of like how the women's US title was
starting to lose its traction once they took the title off
Chelsea Green. So bringing it, doing the IC

title on Becky brought more attention to it and then it kind
of brought into the more storyline with her husband Self
Rollins and see a Punk and then,you know, AJ Lee coming back.
So it I see why they didn't madeit fit.
And so I was happy that she lost'cause I was like, OK, girl, I'm
over it. And I'm happy that Maxine won.

To see her progression from whenshe first started in WWE to
where she was now. It did have that match did have
its low points where I was like,OK, she's not moving as fast and
fluid as the others, but overtime it's gonna get better.
And I think that, you know, she's build a really nice
popularity base. I'm a fan.
So of course she's going to get better over time each time.
And she'll still keep that attention and attraction to the

IC title because of who she is and just how she's, you know,
how popular she is right now. And that opens Becky up for war
games. Not saying that you know, you
can be a champion and be War Games, but it opens up her more
to do more with the storyline between Hair and AJ without a
title kind of getting in a way. So yeah, All in all, I was happy

with that match. And then her doing a turnbuckle,
trying to take the turnbuckle cover off and AJ Lee coming back
'cause I was like, I, I, I get the feeling I called it last
week or yeah, I called it last week that it was going to be
those two. So I was just like, yes, AJ came
back. She helped Maxim Dupree win by
just distracting Becky. And it wasn't a huge

interference, it was just comingout.
So it kept Maxine's win nice andclean.
It was just Becky got distractedon her own and that was it.
And then the backstage scene, the backstage segment with AJ
and I forgot the commentators name and they're talking about
her and she's staying more and she's like, maybe.
And then Rita's like, hey, we need can we talk?

And I was like, Oh yeah, there you go, there's your members.
And, and you were totally right about that.
And when I saw that happen, I was like, Yep, like AJ Lee for
their side, Becky Lynch for the other side.
That makes sense 'cause if AJ Lee goes to that side, of course
Becky Lynch is going to want to get her revenge after AJ Lee,
after she technically AJ Lee didn't cost her 'cause she took

her eye off the ball. So but she's going to blame AJ
Lee. So after that, she's going to
join the E, what's her name? Team Oscar team.
Yeah, yeah, God, I can't. You know, the Kabuki Warriors
team, we'll just say their team like she's definitely going to

be joining them. But you know, and this is going
to be like AJ Lee's like not solo match by herself, but first
world games. And you know how war games go.
You're in that ring for a very long time.
So she's she's not going to get those little breaks like she
has. She's definitely going to be
fighting for her for some air inthere and I wonder if they're

going to have her her going lastlike to just kind of easily
guide her back in to WWE side 'cause you know, she's she's the
producer for wild women of wrestling.
That still happens. So she's still, you know,
working that and helping those girls.
So she's not rusty ring rust. She's just for WWE style.

I definitely agree now that she lost the title yesterday I

didn't actually get to see that match.
But for her to lose that time though, she definitely is going
to join the the Kelly Warriors and then that's going to lead AJ
destroying them for war games. Yeah, So what happened was Becky
went to go take the turnbuckle off, right, And then as soon as

she went to go turn take the turnbuck off, AJ Lee's music
comes on and AJ Lee comes out and distracts her for Maxine to
get the win. Maxine goes to the top rope,
hits her with her finishing moveand gets the 123.
Dang, I know she crashed. Though I know she was crashing
out on fans and everything like she was.

She was a national crash out right then and there It was.
It was Becky's heel. But she really did crush her.
Oh yeah, she was hot. I was like, uh oh.
Yeah, it was a it was, it was something.

But moving on to the next match,we had Gunther versus Javon
Evans. Javon Evans, man, I'm telling
you, he is something special. Whenever he moves the name
roster, they need to move him. Keep him to the top.
I feel like they're going to endup burying him though because

why are we losing the Gunther? Like.
Why are we doing that? That that was perfect to have
him when Gunther doesn't need to.
It's not fitting any of the storyline.
John Cena has always, when he had, remember when he had the US
title, he was always giving fresh new upstarts a chance.
So why are we having Gunther when when we already know he's

dominant? There is nothing in there but
Jovan Evans. That's a fresh new upstart,
fresh kid. He's got great ability and here
we are giving it to Gunther likethere should have been.
No rhyme or reason why he lost. You took you to the words right

whole thing that sells my next thing I know he's kicked out in
the first round. But the way the way that man was

Like if you don't watch NXT, watch NXT, at least go watch
Devon Evans. Matter of fact, he's having A
tag team match coming up with the young.

They they got A tag team match coming up with dark state.
Check it out. It's going to be a great match.
They both are higher Flyers. They're both young and they both
like he's on TNA and Javon Evansis on NXT and they're both going

to be in that match and it's going to be a great match.
I mean, they're going to end up losing, but it's still going to
be a great match. Oh yeah.
For sure. Anytime you see Javon Evans is
going to be a great match. Oh yeah.

What's your thoughts on that match?
It was a great match. Oh yeah, he always puts on a
banger like he just can't slow that man down.
But just still, I'm so bummed and he lost, but it was a great
match. You had your ground guy.
You're basically your grounder versus your high flyer.

And it was just it was it was a banger.
It really showed Javon Evans skills off.
It makes me happy that he's still in NXT because I feel like
they would bury this guy and andon the main roster.
But at the same time, it leaves me to wonder why this man don't
have a title yet. And Tisha, I think you're going
to hate this, what I'm about to say, but I think there's going

to be the one who's going to face even.
And I know most people might notlike that, but it might happen.

Here comes Brock Lesnar's music.Brock Lesnar becomes the 5th
member of that team. Now, right before the end of the
show, Roman Reigns came out and he was the 5th member of that
team. So I mean, we all got it right
on the Brock Lesnar side, but it's a bummer that they didn't

put John Cena there because thatwould have made more sense.
But also it also makes sense because Brock Lesnar and Roman
Reigns both had beef too and it makes sense.
So I just. Want to see if they were.

Roman Reigns, he got beef with the Usos.

Paul Heyman, Of course he's coming in.
And they all got beef with Paul Heyman.
But I also wonder too, is this because he's the 5th member of

Roman, so now he got beef with Jay.
He's doing, you know, Paul is his boy.
I wonder if this is where we find out, because I don't think
Brown Breaker is the leader. I don't think Paul Heyman is.

But I wonder if he's doing this to be back with Brock, and Brock

That makes sense. What's your thoughts on the
legendary? For one, this was one of the
best Monday Night Raw endings ofthe year, so it it was just too
many chaos. Second of all, I think I think

Brock is going back to Paul at some point.
I'm actually interested in seeing how the war games go.
They should bring this back to like Survivor Series, like the
old Survivor Series we should watch, like not just war games.
But I mean, I'm still, I'm stillgoing to enjoy it.

won. It would have made it better.
