Sometimes we are so focused on a goal that we don't really appreciate what happens along the way in reaching it. In this episode, world-famous magician Rick Thomas tells Tammy Trujillo about how he learned that it pays to be in the moment and enjoy yourself wherever you are, even if it is not where you think you should be. Rick recalls setting his sights on Las Vegas as a child and even though he was performing in some amazing - and some not so amazing places - on the way to getting to the script, he may not have appreciated them as much as he should have. And Rick reveals that sometimes when you reach your goal, you may be surprised to find out it isn't all you thought that it might be. Plus Rick shares an email that came in just a few moments before recording the show, that really took him by surprise.
