NFNPPOD Productions is an independent St. Louis-based podcast network producing bold, unfiltered commentary, sports talk, and culture-driven conversations for grown adults who still argue like it’s 2004. Our flagship show, Notorious Friday Night Posse (NFNP), is a weekly comedy and news commentary podcast breaking down politics, technology, sports, conspiracy theories, and whatever story hijacked the group chat that week. Recorded Thursday nights and released Fridays, NFNP delivers real reactions, sharp satire, and unapologetic opinions with Midwest energy and zero corporate filter. This is not a nurse practitioner podcast. NFNP stands for Notorious Friday Night Posse, a St. Louis comedy and news commentary podcast built for listeners who want intelligent takes without cable news theatrics. A St. Louis CITY fan wore his CITY kit to Wrexham, visited The Fat Boar, the Racecourse, the Club Shop, and The Turf, then had his rental car stolen with all the Wrexham merch inside. After reading the blog, Wrexham AFC replaced the entire order and now Bright is a fan for life!

Part 2 of our July NFNP hangout episode is here — and somehow, this one turned into a prophecy.
Bright and Duds continue the conversation from last week with St. Louis sports, the Cardinals, Jordan Walker, CITY SC frustration, downtown St. Louis curfews, fireworks chaos, families feeling unsafe after major events, and the question of whether the city is finally getting serious about enforcing basic rules downtown.
Then the guys...
City SC Posse is finally back from the World Cup break, and Bright and Kev are ready to remember what St. Louis CITY SC soccer felt like before international soccer took over everyone’s brains.
The guys start with a quick World Cup reset, Team USA frustration, and the relief of getting back to Energizer Park. CITY enters the restart in 12th place, still outside the playoff line, but close enough that the next stretch matters. ...
Bright comes to the NFNP from a hotel room in Minot, North Dakota, where even buying beer is more complicated than it should be. That opens the door to a conversation about strange liquor laws, Missouri freedom, college beer runs, blue laws and why St. Louis remains one of the easiest places in America to find a drink.
From there, Bright and Duds recap Fourth of July weekend: fireworks, neighborhood war zones, BBQ, pork burnt ends, ...
A Texas murder suspect posted a $1 million bond, surrendered his passport and was placed on GPS monitoring. Then, according to authorities, Lee Gilley cut off his ankle monitor late on a Friday, traveled from Texas into Canada and boarded a flight to Italy using a false passport.
The monitor reportedly detected the tampering. The surrounding system reportedly did not respond until roughly 60 hours later.
On NFNP 2x21, Matt and Duds a...
America is turning 250—but how has the breakup with Britain worked out?
Bright and Duds revisit some of the lesser-known history behind American independence, including why July 2, July 4 and August 2 all matter, how long the Revolutionary War actually lasted and why the Founders’ first attempt at a national government failed.
They examine the design that followed: the House, Senate, presidency, courts, federalism and a s...
Are the protests we see on television genuine grassroots movements—or strategic campaigns designed to create attention?
This week, Bright and Duds sit down with Adam Swart, founder and CEO of Crowds on Demand, for an inside look at the business of modern activism, organized demonstrations, political influence, and public persuasion.
Adam explains how participants are recruited and vetted, why he believes paid crowds can sometim...
Did we call it?
This week the Posse revisits several stories we've covered over the last few months and checks in on what happened next.
Spencer Pratt's surprising Los Angeles mayoral campaign continues gaining momentum as voters head to the polls. The Iran conflict enters Day 94 with ceasefire talks, oil concerns, and questions about what comes next. A missing Los Alamos scientist case takes another bizarre turn after investigators ...
St. Louis CITY SC is two wins from a trophy, and somehow this all started with a school-night family outing that turned into penalty shootout madness.
In this episode of City SC Posse, Bright and Kev recap CITY’s wild U.S. Open Cup quarterfinal win over Houston Dynamo at Energizer Park. Bright was there with the whole family, and the night delivered everything: cheap tickets, general admission energy, long concession lines, ki...
Duds is off living his best life in Greece, so this week Bright and Nilla take the wheel for a very NFNP episode that starts with end-of-school chaos, melted popsicles, kid vomit, foxes in the backyard, dog bills, and somehow ends up in tick conspiracies, Oak Island treasure theories, and shirtless Cardinals fans.
The main topic is Alpha-gal Syndrome, also known as the red meat allergy, a bizarre and potentially serious condition li...
St. Louis CITY SC had a chance to prove something in D.C.
After beating Colorado on the road and LAFC at home, CITY entered Saturday with real momentum, a chance at three straight MLS wins, and an opportunity to climb closer to the playoff line. Instead, they scored first, sat too deep, gave up a 90th-minute equalizer, survived a stoppage-time offside goal, and left with a 1-1 draw that felt like one point earned, two points droppe...
CITY SC Posse is back, and for once, we get to talk about a road win.
St. Louis CITY SC went to Colorado, won 1-0, scored first, kept a clean sheet, and somehow made all of it feel slightly illegal. Sang-Bin Jeong got the start, made the run, finished the breakaway, and gave CITY the kind of direct attacking moment fans have been begging for. Roman Bürki stayed solid, the defense survived, Colorado missed a late sitter that may stil...
California is one of the richest places on Earth. Hollywood, Silicon Valley, luxury homes, billion-dollar tech companies, and a $4 trillion economy.
So why does it feel like it’s falling apart?
This week on The Notorious Friday Night Posse, the guys break down the growing backlash against California leadership through the lens of Spencer Pratt’s viral run for Los Angeles mayor. After losing his home in the Palisades Fire,...
CITY SC Posse is back for Episode 15, and for once, we are talking about a win. Weird, right?
St. Louis CITY SC went on the road in the U.S. Open Cup, survived an ugly first hour against the Chicago Fire, conceded first again, and then somehow flipped the match with the help of actual useful substitutions. Eduard Löwen came on, Makai Joyner brought energy, Thomas Totland followed the play, and suddenly CITY looked like a team that r...
This week on The Notorious Friday Night Posse, Bright and Nilla power through a two-man episode and dive headfirst into one of America’s darkest recurring traditions:
presidential assassinations and assassination attempts.
The main hook is the latest attempt involving President Trump at the White House Correspondents’ Dinner, but the guys use it as the launch point for a full historical rundown of direct attacks on U.S. ...
City SC Posse Episode 14 is therapy, rage, and soccer talk all rolled into one.
After a brutal 3-2 home loss to San Jose, Bright is still pissed and honestly, he should be. CITY had the atmosphere, the chances, the momentum swing, and a chance to make a real statement at home, and still found a way to blow it.
In this episode, we break down the full disaster, from the early concession and endless missed chances to the electric two-g...
After getting absolutely smacked around in Seattle, the boys are back to break down another frustrating CITY performance, ask what the hell happened on those repeated set-piece goals, and figure out whether there is still any real reason for optimism before San Jose comes to town.
Seattle was ugly, the marking was worse, and the attack once again looked like a team crossing the ball because it has run out of better ideas. As Bright...
This week, the Posse asks a question that starts as a joke and ends a little too real.
Multiple scientists connected to high-level research institutions like NASA and Los Alamos… gone. Some dead. Some missing. Some quietly tied to federal investigations. The FBI is involved. The internet is spiraling. And suddenly, the “crazy conspiracy threads” don’t sound so crazy anymore.
So yeah… at what point does...
In Episode 12, we break down St. Louis City SC’s frustrating 1-1 draw against FC Dallas, a result that felt a lot more like two points dropped than one point earned. City controlled long stretches of the first half, dominated possession, created chances, and still walked away stuck with another draw after a second-half defensive lapse punished them again.
We get into:
City SC somehow found a way.
In Episode 11 of City SC Posse, we break down the chaotic 1-1 draw against NYCFC, a match that felt more like a loss for 90 minutes… until it didn’t. A 90+6 equalizer saved a point, but let’s be honest, this team didn’t deserve it.
So what does that mean?
We dig into everything:
