Transformation isn't just about changing your body—it's about aligning every aspect of your life for sustainable success and wellbeing. That's what Angelica Ventrice discovered after leaving her high-stress pharmaceutical sales career 40 pounds heavier and completely burnt out.

Now the creator of the Aligned Method Program, Angelica shares groundbreaking insights about what truly creates lasting change. Forget the conventional wisdom about 21-day habit formation. According to Angelica, genuine identity transformation requires three to four years of consistent practice—a timeline rarely acknowledged in our quick-fix culture. This perspective explains why so many high-achievers experience the frustrating cycle of weight loss and regain despite their legendary discipline in other areas of life.

For busy realtors constantly networking, traveling, and juggling client demands, Angelica offers radical permission to start small. Just 15 minutes of intentional movement can create significant results when performed consistently. She challenges the "no time" excuse by asking powerful questions: What's your five-year vision if nothing changes? How much time do you really spend scrolling or in other low-value activities?

The conversation ventures into fascinating territory around alcohol consumption (your body processes it before food, turning meals into stored fat), breathwork for releasing stored trauma, and why true health transformation requires addressing not just physical habits but also mindset patterns, spiritual connection, and business alignment.

Whether you're struggling with energy levels, battling brain fog, or simply wanting to feel more confident and capable in your demanding career, this episode offers both practical strategies and profound perspective shifts. Message Angelica on Instagram for her free Reset Your Metabolism masterclass or gut healing meal plan to begin your own alignment journey.

Speaker 1 (00:00):
Oh, I was slouching.
Jellica looks great.
She's pretty hot, dude, yourphoto is smoking.
Maybe I need to start off theintroduction.
Like, today's guest is hot, your photo is smoking hot, all

(00:24):
right, so let's try again.
Welcome to the Now Making Movesin Real Estate podcast.
I am your host, the General, and my co-host here, c-twist.
So you know, at the end of theday, courtney and I are
surrounded by some powerhousewomen, right?
Women that are like buildingtheir organizations, women in
our lives that are friends andfamily, and we've always had

(00:45):
these conversations around ourhealth, like with hormones as we
get older.
So today our guest is like thisincredibly beautiful woman that
I'm looking at.
It's like she's super hot.
But besides all of her beautyand hotness, she's got quite an
interesting story that we'regoing to go through.

(01:07):
But she's a coach, a businessmentor, and she created
something called the AlignedMethod Program, which is a fully
customized system that's helpedover 900 women ditch their
diets, clean up their gut, whichthat's such an incredible topic
that we'll get to.
But without further ado, I wantto introduce you to Angelica

(01:31):
Ventris.

Speaker 2 (01:33):
Very good.

Speaker 1 (01:34):
So thank you so much for joining us.

Speaker 2 (01:38):
Thank you for having me and for the lovely
introduction, and I'm excited tobe here.
You know, we talked a littlebit on Instagram and I told you
I work with a lot of realtors,so this feels really aligned and
we have a similar background inthat we both did pharmaceutical
sales as well.
And that's kind of what longstory short.
Should I share my journeyreally quickly, like how the
heck I am?
Yes, so.

(01:58):
Yeah, so I'm originally fromNew York.
You might hear the accent comeout, but I now reside in
beautiful Maui, cannot complain,living here.
Yes, you guys love to visit.
I love Maui.
Yeah, once I took my businessonline, I was like I could live
anywhere.
So I'm going to live in Maui, hawaii, right?
So I come from a background inpharmaceutical sales.
It was a great career, but forany of you that are familiar

(02:20):
with it and I know you guys areas well it's rough.
You push, you push, you pushand I got really burnt out.
I gained even more weight.
I was 40 pounds heavier andwhile I was thriving in my
career, I was not thriving in mybody.
I was exhausted.
I was exhausted from theentertaining and the drinking
and the lifestyle, and you guysget it as realtors.

(02:40):
You do a lot of that as well.
If you guys go from house tohouse I went from doctor's
office to doctor's office youknow you live out of your car, I
lived out of my car, so I getthat kind of like that hustle
mentality and there's nothingwrong with hustling, but I'm
here to teach people how to doit in a healthy way.
But anyway, long story short, Ilost 40 pounds and when I went
through that journey, somethingin me was like I need to do this

(03:00):
for a living, like I need tohelp other people feel aligned
and confident and energetic.
It's not just about, like yousaid, the diets or the number on
the scale.
It's about a feeling, it'sabout being in an energetic
state and when you're in ahigher energetic state, you
thrive more in your career andyour relationships in your life,
right, so here we are with thealigned method.
But there was a journey throughthere where I went through like

(03:21):
versus like fitness trainingand nutrition coaching and it's
really expanded into like themindset, the spirituality, the
deep gut, health optimization aswell, metabolic alignment.
So I've expanded over the years, obviously as we grow, but it
all started with my owntransformation journey.
And how long ago was that?
Did you say 15 years ago 15.

(03:42):
Wow, over 15 years.

Speaker 1 (03:45):
Yeah, so you ditched pharma, but I'm I mean, I'm sure
that that experience served youwell.
And what you're doing nowbecause I know for for sure,
like for me, I mean it it reallycreates like a savage sales
totally, I've been selling sinceI'm 16.

Speaker 2 (04:02):
I started sneakers like I've always loved sales.
I worked in the mall at sixsecond.
I could drive my parents likeget a job.
I'm like, okay, I'm going tosell sneakers.
So I've always loved selling.
So, whether it's yeah, it'sselling pharmaceuticals, doing
coaching and helping otherpeople get better, so I love
sales.
Yeah, I think once it's in you,it's in you and you, just like
I and I love helping otherpeople thrive in their sales.
But, yeah, it is a bit savageand you also learn.

(04:24):
You kind of are, in a way, anentrepreneur and like, yes, you
have your, your ride-alongs andthe people that your, your
bosses and pharmaceutical sales, but it is your entrepreneur in
the way that, like it's yourterritory, it's your business.
You grow that area similar toto real estate, right?

Speaker 1 (04:42):
yeah, so talk about the align, align, alignment
method.
A lot of line, the line, thealign.
I want to love that yes, yeah,so we.

Speaker 2 (04:52):
I actually rebranded the end of last year.
I had a program called fit forlife.
For a very long time, so for,uh, seven years I had that
program.
It was amazing.
We helped so many women.
But I started to feel like adeep pull.
Something felt not to soundcorny, out of alignment for me.
I'm like I am deeper than aquote-unquote fitness coach and
I often get pegged because ifyou looked at my Instagram and

(05:14):
you looked at my body I'm notsaying this to sound any way but
it's like oh, do you compete?
Oh, you're so fit, oh, you mustwork out two hours a day and
it's like health is a big partof my life.
I love lifting weights.
It makes me feel good, it helpsme stay strong.
And also, ladies, if you are 40plus, you need to be lifting
weights.
It's not your weight, it's notyour hormones, it's the fact
that you're not doing the rightthings to prevent the weight

(05:34):
gain.
If you are steadily andconsistently lifting weights
from 20s, 30s and beyond, youdon't just turn a certain age
and then gain weight because youhave a certain level of muscle
mass.
But anyway, conversation foranother day, right, but I get
pegged a lot as a fitness coach.
I'm like I'm not a fitness coach, I'm really what I looked at.
What I help my clients with, whether they're realtors or
entrepreneurs, is findingalignment in their lives,

(05:56):
feeling fulfilled, not just intheir bodies and their health,
but in their businesses andtheir relationships, and
teaching them boundaries andteaching them abundance and
teaching them a little bit ofspirituality so they can be more
present and be more connectedto God, source one, whatever it
may be, and I'm like this isalignment.
They're aligning in every areaof their life.
So it's not just about thequote unquote body

(06:16):
transformation.
We go much deeper than that.
It's like mind, body, soulbusiness.
It is everything.
In that sense, was it like a?

Speaker 1 (06:23):
weekly.

Speaker 2 (06:25):
Uh, I mean, you said customizable so I suppose it's a
three or six month program, okay, and and then we go on
longer.
Like we have a lot of clientswho've been with us for years
and, yeah, there's weeklycommunication with your coach,
there's weekly mindset callsfrom me or the like.
We have a somatic killing callso we do breath work and
meditation.
Uh, today actually is a call,so the call is every Wednesday.

(06:46):
Then you have one-on-one withyour coach.
You have customized meal plans, customized movement plans,
customized coaching.
Right, the mindset homework Igive to you is different than
the mindset homework I give toyou.
So everything is individualizedand customized down to the T,
right, everyone's different.
Some clients have kids, or someclients kids are.
You know, I'm sure you guys arereally traveling all around for
sports and all the things, sotheir workouts, maybe everyone

(07:08):
is different.
It's all individualized, yeah, but if they want to, and small
group and you have a team, itsounds like, yeah, yeah, there's
no way I can coach all thesewomen.
Yeah, so I have a team and thenI have eight women that I do
one-on-one business and lifecoaching with, and then then the
other women that are in theprogram are for the health and
wellness program.
So the women that I work withone-on-one specifically, it's

(07:31):
business and mindset and likelife coaching, and then in the
Align Method flagship program ismore like health, wellness and
mindset, yeah, so I think, likewhen we do these podcasts, we
always want our listeners, whichare primarily realtors, to take
, you know, some key nuggetsfrom our experts.

Speaker 1 (07:50):
And in this case, I think the thing that I struggle
with because Courtney and I havehad, you know, health and
fitness and food issues andjourneys years We've been
friends for like 12 years andlike I lost I think it was like
what 40?
40 pounds maybe, like a yearbefore yeah and where I often

(08:17):
struggle, is like theconsistency, Like I'll be
consistent for a year, and thena life event occurs like slur to
what I'm going through rightnow and I'm like, oh my gosh,
let's go get Mexican food and Ieat the chimichanga that I never
would have ate a year ago.

Speaker 2 (08:32):
Okay, let's talk about this right To get you to
lose the 40 pounds.
Did you feel that you did it ina way where it was unrealistic
and a little bit restricted?

Speaker 1 (08:42):
no judgment, but no, no, it was, it was easy.
I mean, it was, it was.
What do you mean?
Well, I did the same dietpreviously that she did, and
she's extremely disciplined ingeneral.

Speaker 2 (08:55):
Hence ask the general , as me yeah her, maybe not for
me.

Speaker 1 (08:59):
Yeah, for her.
Lost the weight, gained it backa year later and have gone a
different route, so I can sayit's barely restrictive.
Well, it's a restricted thing, but not difficult for me.
I heard a different questionthan that.

Speaker 2 (09:11):
Yeah, so I am restricted in the sense that if
you're saying to me achimichanga, so our words carry
energy, right, yeah, chimichangathat I never would have eaten
to me.
This is like the coach in me,like like my brain is going like
layer, layer, layer.
Deep to me signifies that therewas a level of restriction in
the plan that you felt like ifyou ate a chimichanga, or if you

(09:32):
ate a slice of pizza or if youate a brownie, you were going to
gain weight.

Speaker 1 (09:34):
I know, I know what I'm saying is that I know for me
that I, if I even eat a littlebit of that chimichanga, I'm
going to feel really gross, andI know the best choice for me is
to eat like the chicken saladand I could have like a bite of
my husband's enchilada.
But ordering a chickenchimichanga is just not.
Never has served me well, and Iknow that it's not a good

(09:55):
decision and I made the decision.
I actually didn't get thechimichanga, but I did, but I
did, but I did think about it.
I'm like these are the hardchoices that you know weren't
difficult for me for a very longtime, and now I'm like just in
a life I don't want to turn thisinto a Michelle moment but when

(10:15):
you're in like survival mode, you're like, oh my gosh, I just
have a sandwich and some chipsand but you know, but you're
just making bad choices how muchand some chips and but you know
, but you're just making badchoices.

Speaker 2 (10:27):
Yeah, you're making bad choices and the truth is
we're always consistent.
Sometimes we're just consistentin the wrong things, because
we're always going to be likeI'm not consistent, but you are.
You're consistent just in theopposite things that you don't
want to be consistent in.
But the and this is a, this isa statistic fact it actually
takes three to four years toshift your identity.
So if you did really long, youlost weight.
In a year, you lost the 40pounds.
Most people will gain it backbecause they haven't continued

(10:48):
to do the identity work.
It's what you're doing.
It's not about don't eat thisfood, eat this food, take this
supplement, don't take this, drink this probiotic, whatever
it is for you being on yourjourney.
Just like if you guys arementoring other agents, you're
going to give them somestrategies, right?
Sure, you can cold call, youcan this, but who are you being?
What is your energy?

(11:08):
So what happens to a lot ofwomen is they release the weight
, but they didn't change whothey are at the core.
They revert back to old habits, old mindset patterns that
wouldn't work.
So I didn't coach you duringthe 40 pound weight loss.
Right, I don't know what.
I don't know your pastroadblocks or past trauma.
I don't know what's going on inyour life, but I would say
there are things that you'recarrying with you.

(11:30):
That is now.
You're like, okay, well, nowI'm burnt out.
It's like, well, when you didthat in the last time, you need
to know how to react when youare burnt out.
How you feel, are you going toapproach your food and your
mindset when you are goingthrough a life event?
Because, guess what?
Life is always happening.
There's always right struggles, there's always challenges,
business blows up birthdays,there's holidays.

(11:50):
So it's like, yeah, what weteach in our program, this is
why it's about sustainability.
It's like life is always lifing, so right, and say every time
that there's a life event, likewhen my father died to to pass
away Okay, like, a lot of peoplegain or lose weight during this
, and I'm not saying this togloat, but I was just like this
is my health, it's a piece of me.
He would want me to be healthy.
Like, yes, eat, even though Iwasn't hungry.

(12:11):
I was like I'll have grownbroth, protein shakes, whatever
it is, but I did what I neededto do because my body is my
vessel, like my body is my lifeso so I think what you just said
is super interesting that ittakes three to four years to
shave your right.

Speaker 1 (12:27):
What did you say that one more time shape your
identity.

Speaker 2 (12:30):
So it's six months to have a habit become like you
know, part of your lifestyle.
So let's say, now you wake up alittle bit earlier or you added
in meditation and your walksand you're like, okay, yeah,
this is starting to feel likepart of my lifestyle, but a true
identity shift three to fouryears.
Think about it.
Wow, even 50s and 60s a lot ofmy clients are are those age

(12:50):
ranges?
Um, you have a lifelong worthof habits and subconscious
patterning to break throughthinking.
Just here you healed it yeah, that's interesting.

Speaker 1 (13:02):
I've never heard that statistic.
It's kind of like the bump upof a brand new realtor you know,
there's a couple years right.

Speaker 2 (13:09):
Yeah, I mean, you'll see the glorification.
Oh, I made 100k my first month.
Yeah, there's a lot ofglorification, and even in the
real estate world too, like, oh,it's all these houses.
It's like, no, there was agrind, there was a push, we have
the build-up right.
Yes, you can't be that, I wouldsay more exception where you
blow up your business in yourfirst year for two years.
But yeah, there's a build.
You know what I mean?
There's a build for sure, arunway around.

Speaker 1 (13:32):
I.
I think that was reallyinteresting to hear, because
I've never thought about that.
I didn't think it was so long.
Yeah, you hear like we read ahabit, habit yeah, it's a form
of habit.

Speaker 2 (13:43):
Yeah, that was true.
Everyone would be fit and ontheir game, right, like it's not
there, like it just takes waylonger.
Even for myself, you know, Iused to be a really bad binge
eater, like, yeah, I wasdepressed, I was had suicidal
thoughts like very, very likegrowing up, like bad, and even
sometimes this day, like I'llhave about very rare, but I have

(14:05):
about where I've been, jeep, right, so there's still some
subconscious programming thatcauses me to do that.
So we're all always works inprogress.
There is no ending, right, it'snot we're, it's a journey.
So even if you hit your numbersin real estate or you lost all
the way you want to lose, whatare you doing next and who are
you being?
He's not done.
Yeah, for you, powerful.

(14:25):
Yeah, so for you, like notreally knowing your whole story,
I would say like there's deepmindset work and identity work
to be done for you to now.

Speaker 1 (14:33):
Yes, yeah, make this you know, yeah, yeah, yeah, no,
I that was helpful for me, so weinclude.
We can conclude now.
No, I'm kidding, I have to findout about your plan.
Her session is done, I know.
Well, no, I think it's a reallygreat nugget to walk away with
because I tell you what I'mdisciplined and I can do the

(14:54):
work and I'm aware and I knowrealtors that are listening to
this can relate.
I know women can relate um, so,knowing that, you know you
gotta put in way more than thana year or 40 pounds.

Speaker 2 (15:11):
it's three years to really see that's, that's,
that's impactful well, yeah, andthis thing about your age too,
like, think about thing.
And when I talk about trauma inour program, like, even like,
your issues live in your tissues.
So, even going into, you'regoing to form from the time
you're in your mother's womb,right.
So even when you're born, you're not like a clean slate,
because whatever stress she wasgoing through, however she was

(15:31):
eating, whatever talks she tookin, you took in Right.
Then think about yourself.
Think about all theinteractions, all the stressors,
everything you've dealt with inyour whole entire life.
So, yeah, you lost that 40pounds, but what's going on in
here?
And also, what's going on inhere there still could be a
level of inflammation.
So we're just so intricate ashuman beings, which is why I'm
kind of against, like caloriesin, not kind of.

(15:52):
I'm very against calories in,calories out.
Just count macros.
Do I think that you need asmall deficit?
Yes, do I understand that?
Macros you, yes, but if we wantto zoom out, and we're doing
this for our life, for a lifetransformation, to keep the
weight off and feel good forever, it's not those things.

Speaker 1 (16:09):
We go deeper Makes sense.
What were you going to ask?
Well, I was just thinking.
So, if we shift a little bit,I'm thinking the life of a
realtor.
The one thing that I feel likeso many would say is I just
don't have a lot of time, especially when it comes to
working out.
You know what I mean.
Like, do we say, okay, well, gowork out at four in the morning
, or is it that we'remismanaging our time, or we just

(16:31):
have the wrong priorities, orwhat are some of the stuff you
do?

Speaker 2 (16:36):
Being that we work with.
I don't want to say mainly,like I would say.
70% of our clientele isrealtors and I hold workshops
throughout the country forrealtors as well, so this is the
thing that comes up all thetime.
I would say it's a few of thosethings you just said.
It's about priorities, becauseif something is important enough
to you, you will do it.
How much time do you spendscrolling your phone or
answering your emails in themorning?

(16:56):
Right, you can allot that timeto a 15 minute workout.
I have a client.
She's actually owns her ownfinancial firm in California.
Her workouts are 15 minutes.
She's in her 60s.
She's highly successfulmultimillionaire in California.
She said Angie, but she'scalled me Angie.
She's like Angie, I just needreally short workouts, like 15

(17:17):
minutes.
I go great.
But every time she goes to theseconferences and meets with her
colleagues, she'll be like howare you reverse aging?
Because it's not the length oftime for things, it's the
consistency over time and howyou're showing up.
If you show up powerfully inthose 15 minutes, you're going
to have results, right,no-transcript intentionality in

(17:52):
it.
So I would say stop focusing onlike that you don't have time,
because we can make time reallyI mean my clients especially 15
minutes like, come on 15 minutesand then be realistic with your
goals.
So if you're like Coach, I wantto look like you, then we need
longer than 15 minutes, 30minutes five times a week.
But for just to get the ballrolling, start with 15, then 20,

(18:16):
right, it's all about like, isit important to you?
And when ladies say that to me,I'm like okay, picture yourself
in five years if you don't makea change.
How's that feel?
That one probably doesn't feelgood.
And also, for us high vibingfemales, we all like to make
money, right, we're all.
Yeah, we do, yeah, we do.
Hello, we all like to know.

(18:37):
But all the money in the worldis useless if you don't feel
aligned and confident in yourbody.
If you're traveling on thesevacations and you're covering up
or you're like, ooh, I don'tknow if I could eat that, or
it's just, it's a gross way tolive.
Like you, there are more thanthat.
So I throw it back and I'll say, okay, I hear you and I see you
that you're busy, but you're nodifferent than all my clients
who also have kids, who aretraveling.

(18:58):
We have clients who travel, three, like you know, these
young cheerleaders are like liketraveling through the world,
like they're really good, likeyeah, a lot of my clients have
these little cheer, little chill.
Daughters are so cute, but it'slike it's a lot.
So they're providing theirbusinesses, then they're going
to different States, you know, afew weeks out of the month

(19:18):
where these cheer competitions.
So you're no more busy thananyone else.
It's just do you want us to helpyou figure it out?
Because where there's a will,there's a way.
Are you open and coachable tous helping you figure it out?
That's really what it comesdown to, and no, it doesn't need
to be long, it doesn't need tobe complicated.
It's also like saying I don'thave time to meal prep.
Well, you had time to stop andgo to Whole Foods or go here.
You also can just pack up yourlunch.

(19:42):
The night before I keptstopping at Dunkin' Donuts and
Starbucks and snacks to theoffice.
I'm like, oh, see what I'mbringing them.
All of a sudden, there goes thebelly right Like eating the
donuts, eating the things.
I'm like, okay, I'm just goingto take my lunch and like, get a
cooler and eat in the parkinglot Like hello, it's these
things that sometimes we justget so caught up in our day to
day we can't see outside ofourselves.

(20:05):
And that's what a coach is here, yeah.

Speaker 1 (20:06):
Okay, what about alcohol?

Speaker 2 (20:09):
Yes, take on alcohol.
I think that's a very fairquestion.
Yeah, I.
I mean, I definitely love agood spicy margarita.
I love a nice, a nice glass ofchampagne or nice red wine.
Um, and I'm not.
I'm never going to tell myclients not to have a drink,
just like I'm never going totell my clients not to have
pizza or brownie.
I believe in balance.
But, as we do know, alcohol isa toxin, so it'll cause brain

(20:31):
fog, it'll affect your gut andwhat most people don't realize
is that when you drink alcohol, your body actually processes it
before it processes the food.
So let's say you go to anevening dinner with some clients
and you have two, three glassesof wine.
Right, that's like almostorange calories.
Your body is processing thealcohol, the liver wants to get
the toxins out and then the foodjust gets stored as fat.

(20:52):
I didn't know that.
That makes you second kind ofguess, like how many drinks do
you want to have and how manyare you having a week?
So, like I said I just now, asI've gotten older and I'm in
perimenopause and the differencealso, the cleaner you are, the,
the cleaner you live yourlifestyle.

(21:12):
I do think you feel it more, butlike, yeah, when we went to
Italy, I drank wine every day.
When my husband I go on datenights, I definitely have a
glass of wine.
The difference is I used tohave three and now I have.
You know what I mean.
Like I used to be easy, like wecould split a bottle, start
with a cocktail.
I don't do that anymore.
You know, and I mean Like Iused to be easy, like we could
split a bottle, start with acocktail.
I don't do that anymore.
You know, and I'm not judgingif you do, but like, if you
really desire to feel better, tohave more energy, to reverse

(21:34):
burnout, to clear the brain fog,to have, you know, a digestive
system where you're pooping on aregular basis I know so many
women that don't these are the, these are the little shifts you
can make, know.
So, like I said, I love a goodspicy margarita.
I hold retreats in tulum.
We have a tequila tasting.
We had a margarita making class.
Like, listen, I'm, it's fun,have the fun.

(21:55):
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
But I just think, be consciousof it and be, once again, be
intentional.
You know, like, if you'resomeone who's networking a lot,
you're holding a lot of openhouses, or I see there's a lot
of champagne, all these things.
Don't need to have it at everyfreaking open house.
You don't need to have it atdinner.

Speaker 1 (22:11):
Well, and at the end of the day, I feel like, as
we're aging, we know how all ofthis makes us feel Like I know,
if I have drinks in the evening,I'm up peeing all night and I'm
not getting good nights ofsleep.

Speaker 2 (22:23):
You don't get good sleep, good night's asleep,
sleep, then you're bloated.

Speaker 1 (22:27):
yeah, then you're exhausted the next day and if
you're like we are, we'retalking, we know this at 40 plus
years old, like so, if youchoose to do it, you know.

Speaker 2 (22:33):
Like we just went to the dinner on saturday, I was
like I don't have time to peeall night like I, really like
one makes you feel like I say so, like I said, but I think
understand excuse me the sciencebehind it.
So I think it's important topoint out and unfortunately, it
is a toxin.
As good as it tastes, it'stoxic.
There's a lot of cool mocktailsout there.

(22:54):
I mean, we in Maui there'ssomething called kratom and kava
, so it's a drink made from aplant, so we'll often do that
and it could have like arelaxing effect or an upper
effect.
So that's really what I drinknowadays.

Speaker 1 (23:06):
Okay, for the sake of time, I wanted to ask one other
question, because you touchedon the breath work.

Speaker 2 (23:11):
Oh, thank you.
I wanted to ask her about that, that's something I'm really
interested in diving into.

Speaker 1 (23:18):
Can you talk a little bit about that before we sign
off?

Speaker 2 (23:21):
Of course.
So I decided years ago to bringa breath work and meditation
coach into my program because,at the end of the day, we all
store a lot of stress and traumain our bodies and it's one
thing to sit there and doaffirmations and journal, but
where does it live?
It lives in your body, right?
So what I really believe is, byhaving our clients do the
breath work and calm theirnervous system down, they're

(23:41):
getting out of that fight orflight.
At the end of the day that, like we said, all that stress is
living in your body and thatyou're feeling burnt out.
And if you're feeling exhausted, most of my clients they don't
meditate, they don't ground, they don't take the time, right.
Yes, we're teaching them, but Iwanted something in my program
was going to force them to sitdown and sit still and learn how
to breathe, and they're alldifferent topics.

(24:03):
So, like, actually, I justmessaged with Jenna, my
breathwork coach.
I said what's tonight's topicand she said self-trust and
connecting to higher self.
So for me, where I'm at in mylife right now, that self-trust
is definitely something with youknow, I launched these new
workshop and it's just these newworkshops and just trusting
trusting anyway, but she'll dothe breathwork on different
topics.
It could be like it could be aninner child one, it could be

(24:25):
stress reduction, whatever it is, but they're all really
beautiful and it's a way for usto connect and calmer nervous
systems down and to releaseenergy because your body's
holding on to, like I said, stress and trauma and through
the breath you're able torelease a lot.
Sometimes you may cry, sometimesyou may laugh, sometimes you
may not feel anything, buteither way, it's a time for my
clients to come to Zen, out andto breathe, because I really

(24:48):
feel like us high achievers, wedon't freaking breathe.
I didn't even sentence that, Ijust run, run, run on sentence.
Yeah, like, take a freakingbreath, slow down.
So we'll teach differentbreathing techniques in the
program, but I have a specificbreath coach as well, because
somatic healing needs to be partof your overall body
transformation journey, of yourbusiness.
Like it's just it.

(25:08):
You really need to get into thebody to have a huge shift how
long do people?
normally do it for um in on thezoom.
They're like 20 30 minutes inperson, like when I have them on
retreats.
They go a little longer, like45 minutes.

Speaker 1 (25:23):
Yeah, yeah so it's a zoom, yeah, and then okay, yeah.

Speaker 2 (25:28):
Even just like this zoom.
All my clients have a bunch ofzoom.
We have zoom calls everyWednesday.
The last Wednesday of the monthis the breath work and
visualization and then I leadother meditations starting the
month.
I enjoy it because, like I said, I know that I don't.
Some of my clients meditate, but if they do, they don't do as
regularly as me and I just knowthe positive effects that it
has on the physiological bodyand our brain and breath work.

Speaker 1 (26:03):
I love that I did that class.
How long ago was that?
A couple go do our PQs and itwas just like little couple
minutes and we'd do it beforebig meetings or and I felt so
good and then I finished theclass and then now I totally
don't do it.

Speaker 2 (26:18):
Yeah, see, gotta just , I mean, pick, pick one thing
you like from it and implementit every day and, if you need to
, just like, put it in yourphone.
So when I first startedmedicating it wasn't regular for
me, but my functional medicinedoctor actually prescribed me to
it because I've had suchhorrible gut issues.
He's like your body is likeliterally in fight or flight.
You need to calm it down.

Speaker 1 (26:37):
So this was eight years ago and that's when I
started meditating.

Speaker 2 (26:40):
Started five minutes and then eight and then ten.
But it was in my phone likewake up and, freaking, meditate,
because to me it was a foreignthing, so to you, of doing these
things.
You did it during the class, but so far.
And she was like now start toimplement it in your life,
putting your, putting your phone, make yourself do it every day
at lunch or every day, whatevertime you know.
But yeah, so do.

Speaker 1 (26:58):
Tapping, and you guys are familiar with tapping, also
helps move energy yeah, I thinkthis is like a really great
reminder of the power of havinga coach I think coaches, like
all, like in the past, and thepower of having a coach, I think
, for real estate agents.
You know you hear you got tohave a coach, you know, have
coach on this, a coach on this, and it's rare that we talk about

(27:20):
having a coach that helps inthis aspect of our lives.
So I definitely appreciate yourwillingness to join us today
because, um, I know having acoach can help and Courtney's
had coaching, so, um, I'm hopingthat you know you can leave our
listeners with any additionalinformation that might, you know
, trigger them to like contactyou tomorrow and and say, hey,

(27:45):
