El reto de crear una empresa de asesoramiento deportivo es el tema que trata este tercer episodio. De la mano de Carlos Portilla (promoción 2012) comentamos lo que ha vivido para crear su empresa (https://entrenopersonal.com) hace ya poco más de nueve años.
Revisamos el mercado de la bicicleta y las oportunidades que ofrece. Analizamos el crecimiento de la práctica, de las unidades fabricadas y vendidas para cada tipo de modalidad. A parte del entreno personal, Carlos ofrece estudios biomecánicas “bikefitting”. Dirige, también, los retos que los ciclistas se proponen gracias a los instrumentos de medición que tenemos disponibles.
El mercado de bicicletas ha crecido espectacularmente en los últimos años. Por aportar algunas cifras, en 2020 el crecimiento ha se cifra en un 40%, en números redondo. La mayor parte del mercado corresponde a la BTT, con un 39%. Crecen con fuerza –más del 10%– las e-bikes, com más de 200.000 unidades al año, y una demanda que no se ha podido atender en ocasiones.

The Brothers Ortiz
