We Can All Do Something with Sarah Woodard, Spark Consciousness

Welcome to episode 53 of the Nurtured by Nature podcast, today I'm delighted to be joined in conversation by Sarah, an award-winning author and host of the Give a F**K podcast, who guides those seeking to reconnect with their souls creativity and Mother Nature.

Sarah and I had so much fun connecting, whilst we talk about important topics, it’s done with a gentle hand and a lot of laughter, a true tonic for the soul. Sarah shares her deep love for nature which provided her with a sanctuary and place of safety as a child and which she has now returned to in later life having reached her own tipping point, or dark night of the soul. We talk about how we can’t all do everything but we can all do something, and how with this mindset we can understand the importance of community, the need for tolerance and compassion, so we avoid falling into the groves of division that are becoming deeply ingrained into our cultures, particularly when elections fuel and fan the flames.

Sarah encourages us to remember that nature isn’t a place to go it is inextricably linked to us, that we need to listen to the ancient stories that Mother Earth is literally breathing into us, that are etched into our very beings. She shares the idea of considering time on a greater scale, where were we 7 generations ago, where will we be in 7 generations time, how does this shift how we view ourselves into the world and our priorities and how to move forward in respectful co-creation with the earth and each other, whilst remembering to focus on the future we want to embody rather that the fear of what we don’t want to happen..
