I've got my boys here, mr ZachStanley and Brian Wagers.
We want to just bring a quickepisode for those that may not
be from the area, or may be fromthe area and just don't know
(00:43):
good stuff, and so we want tobring y'all some, some, uh, some
favorites of ours that we knowcoffee shops, food spots these
are free shout outs for thoseplaces, so we'll love them to to
host us anytime for these freeshout outs sponsorships we're
taking exactly so, uh, but yeah,I get both of y'all, I'll hand
it over to y'all.
Um, zach, give me your uh, giveme your top, you'll go.
Speaker 1 (01:05):
Coffee breakfast
lunch, okay, later, I mean as as
a whole, when, when I'm talkingto investors, they're always
like, hey, I'm coming in, Idon't have time to meet up, but
what do you have recommendationsfor me to go to here, here,
here, whatever?
And so I would say, as far ascoffee goes, I my number one
recommendation is onyx coffeelab, um, the headquarters in
downtown rogers.
(01:26):
They also have a new one indowntown springdale.
They have an onyx infayetteville it's not crazy by
me, but they do have an onyx infayetteville, um.
And then they have an onyx indowntown bentonville, um.
And so that's if you go to thedowntown rogers coffee shop,
it's probably one of the coolestcoffee shops you've ever been
into, um.
Most people that come here willsay it is the best coffee shop
(01:46):
they've ever been to.
It's a big place with lots ofwork.
I work out of there a lot, andso it's a great place.
They have great coffee.
They even have a spot wherethey're making all their coffee
and it's like shooting throughtubes really fast and they're
moving the beans around.
It's super cool to watch.
So coffee that would be.
That would be my numberrecommendation.
Breakfast um.
I love farmer's table infayetteville, um.
(02:08):
It's farm to table.
My wife and I are a littlecrunchy and so we love like
knowing that I be in crunchycrunchy rudy.
We love like knowing that theseeggs we're eating, we're happy
chickens and not injected withrandom stuff.
We love the bacon.
Um, gluten-free pancakes, likeall it's.
(02:29):
It's all farm to table.
Speaker 2 (02:30):
It's so good some of
my first dates with jen were at
that farm to table, like whenwe're back in the drinking.
Yeah, I lived in favo my firstyear here and we would go there
like after a night out and justso it's good.
Speaker 1 (02:41):
It felt like it
brought me back to life, like
it's like uh it's like it'sliterally an old home that they
just like hodgepodge for arestaurant and it's like right
on the road You're like squeaksand cracks.
It makes you feel like you'realmost in, like a European, like
food place.
So that's my favorite breakfastspot.
You say lunch or dinner, both.
Give me a couple quick ones.
(03:01):
Dinner I'm probably going gonnahave to go with the new ruth
chris place.
Now ruth chris was like number,it was inching down my list over
the years, but man, I've beenthree or four times to the new
ruth chris and it is my, it's myfavorite steak restaurant in
northwest argensau.
Now, uh, the vibes are there.
I'm a big vibe guy.
(03:22):
We have the biggest one in theworld.
We have the biggest ruth RuthChris in the world, excited for
that tonight.
And we're actually goingtonight with our next guest.
Thank you to our next guest, rocky, for that.
But we're going to Ruth Chrisis probably my favorite.
It's two stories, it's huge, itseems.
I don't know if like the vibemade the food taste better.
(03:42):
Oh is it.
I don't know if like the vibemade the food taste better.
I was food tasting better.
Help the vibe.
But like uh, that's been akiller, tori, and I'll go there
for lunch and we can eat, forthere's lunch specials or we're
eating for under 70 bucks withno alcohol, um, and then, uh,
they even have like I wastalking with my golf instructor
they have uh Breck, uh sliderson certain days for lunch where
(04:07):
it's like 16 bucks, so you don'thave to spend a bunch to go
there.
It's super vibey.
The new bars are incredible.
If you guys haven't been theretonight, you're gonna be really
happy.
So that's my favorite dinnerspot now.
And as far as lunch goes, man,I eat a lot of lunches like just
at the house, so I don't Idon't have a great family a lot
of my lunch spot.
I mean, my lunch will might belike a picnic with my wife.
I spend my lunches with my wife, so we'll go on.
I will say, if you want to goto a spot, every day, my wife
(04:30):
and I walk lake atalanta notlike atlanta, lake atalanta and
so we'll walk that lake and wemight grab a picnic or something
.
It's one of the prettiest lakesfor walking, I think, here.
So if you're here, go walk likeatal.
It's a cool little spot towardsdowntown Rogers.
Speaker 3 (04:44):
So that's my making
me hungry over here, brian, get
us, get us into your, yourfavorites, okay, coffee
breakfast, lunch, dinner youstole the show.
Speaker 2 (04:54):
Onyx is.
I'm a Rogers guy too, so thatthe atmosphere Jen loves
atmosphere like for dinners too,so like.
But for coffee Onyx Rogers is agreat spot spot.
I live in the pinnacle area soI'm usually it's not as
convenient for me to go overthere, so I'm usually going to
heroes or confident coffee.
Uh, there's a pretty close by,um good spots.
(05:15):
Lunch, uh, breakfast not toskip.
Can't sit breakfast.
I skip breakfasts during theweek, but on on the weekend I'll
hit it.
Speaker 1 (05:23):
Homegrown is really
good, that's my number two pick.
Speaker 2 (05:27):
That is a breakfast
spot.
They got a cool spot in Rogers.
I know they've got some otherlocations too Downtown
Springdale, downtown Springdale,that's right.
Yeah, that spot is pretty cooltoo.
Yeah, I like that For lunch.
(05:49):
You know, I again I'm kind of ameal prepper too.
Sometimes I'll have lunchmeetings.
I feel like it's a convenienttime to meet people for lunch.
But yeah, rights barbecue is agood spot.
It's always packed, um, it'shard to get into.
So in some sense I like, uh man, I'll just do like for a
business lunch, I'll do nukes, like just a quick lunch as
healthy.
Um, walk-ons is a popular lunchspot too.
Speaker 1 (06:05):
You can get two
grilled over a bed of rice.
You can get two grilled chickenbreasts at walk-ons.
Speaker 2 (06:11):
I do the ahi tuna
bowl.
Yeah, that's pretty good.
But yeah, man, sometimes peoplesit down for lunch.
They get mozzarella sticks, thepo' boy, like the Louisiana po'
boy sandwich.
I'm like man, I don't know howyou keep going.
Keep going after that dinner.
Dinner is.
We have so many cool dinnerspots it really depends what
(06:31):
market you're like.
Rogers, I like the rail pizzalike that's some of the best
pizza.
Love the rail, it's a cool vibeyeah, great vibe downtown, right
, like I remember duringpandemic they won't even like
you know.
Hey, we're, we're serving ourin in uh in restaurant people.
Yeah, we're not taking to go.
Yeah, that's how crazy it wasover there.
(06:52):
Um, uptown, I like Loma'spretty cool, I'm excited to try.
Uh, yeah, loma's good spot.
Uh, also pretty vibey, I dolike I'm excited to try Ruth
Chris, yeah, if I'm inBentonville, I recommend people
to go to Confer.
I think that's a cool spot,like I always recommend, because
(07:12):
they've got a really good chefthere.
They're always rotating, so Itell people if they're in
Bentonville to go there.
If they're in Fayetteville, Itell them to go to Cheers at the
OPO Really cool spot where theold can't go wrong old uh
building is.
I like a good steak.
So does on does on dixon streetis really nice on our
steakhouse.
And then, uh, I have somefriends that like live and die
(07:34):
by hermant to like I like just,uh, I love, it's a good, it's a
cool vibe.
Speaker 1 (07:38):
Yes, it is, it's just
a unique vibe.
I love it.
Yeah, I love it.
Something I missed was TableMesa in downtown Bentonville.
That's my favorite food item innorth of Arkansas is the
chicken curry burrito.
I freaking love that.
I need to try that next timeit's so good, I'm a picky eater,
it's so good.
Table Mesa downtown Bentonville.
Speaker 2 (07:58):
It's a great spot.
You have someone client, customer, business partner in
town from out of area.
You're right on the square.
You can have lunch out thereand see downtown.
I love it.
Speaker 3 (08:10):
I'll give a quick run
just to wrap us up.
It's going to be prettyredundant.
Though I mean, onyx Coffee isspecial, there's really nothing
that comes even close, I think.
What about for Fayetteville?
Do you think, fayetteville?
I'm still hitting.
Speaker 1 (08:23):
Onyx, Probably in
Fayetteville I'm probably going
to base camp, base camp.
Speaker 3 (08:28):
I like, yeah, base
camp's good, or or, uh, puritan
on dacian is good, but I meanit's called word coffee off of.
Speaker 1 (08:33):
Yeah, that's pretty
cool but onyx is.
I mean it's special, they'vegot such a good thing, you're
right, puritan, puritans, areally good one in fayetteville,
yeah and then uh, and then Iwould say I'm gonna skip
breakfast.
Speaker 3 (08:44):
I love breakfast, but
I might go two dinner spots, so
I was gonna say right, we get,we get multiple choices, yeah I
was gonna say, right, barbecuetoo.
I'm willing to get tired afterlunch.
Uh, for that, because it's just.
Speaker 1 (08:57):
I mean it's again so
far but I'll put me on a coffin
dude.
Speaker 3 (09:00):
Yeah, it's so far
above every other, I mean
barbecue spot in north ofarkansas.
Um, I see all nice and rightsat like, similar levels to
everyone else.
They're just so proud.
And then um, and then the samething here with pizza.
I think pizza ray ruby isspecial for dinner.
Still haven't had.
Um, oh my gosh, I haven't hadit either.
Pizza, probably the best pastain north of sargans.
(09:23):
I'm willing to say thatPastafina and Lowell, yeah, and
it crushes it, oh really Shotsfired.
And Pastafina is great, shoutout to them.
But Pizza River is just elite.
And then I would say my otherdinner spot I think best steak
in Northwest Arkansas RiverGrill.
Speaker 2 (09:43):
That's a good choice.
Speaker 3 (09:44):
Biddenville.
They got a really good steak, really good drinks um, and so
love those spots, just I mean, Ithink they're all way ahead of
everyone else.
Speaker 1 (09:53):
But a real quick
recap on things outside of
restaurants real quick.
I'll probably go lake atlanta,if you're here and uh, and I'm
gonna say, uh, I'm probablytaking this from you guys, but
the greenway, go, go on thegreenway.
Go on the greenway and bike thegreenway.
It goes from Bella Vista toFayetteville and you can.
It's all paved like for bikingonly.
(10:14):
So those are my two.
If you guys got things besideseating, At Crystal Bridges
Museum.
Speaker 2 (10:19):
Yeah, if you're in
Bentonville, for sure, rogers,
if you go over towards theTopgolf, I mean you could go to
Topgolf and you'll see a lot ofcool stuff in that Uptown Rogers
area.
Yeah.
Speaker 3 (10:32):
Love it.
Well, yeah, we just we're goingto do a quick episode every now
and then just to kind of giveyou some of our favorite spots.
If you're local and you don'tknow these spots, please hit
them.
If you're not local, that's theselfish episode, because I'm
going to take this and be like.
Speaker 1 (10:46):
Someone will be like
where should I go?
And I'm just like here, watchthis.
Speaker 3 (10:48):
Yeah, exactly,
exactly.
But yeah, we love these spots.
Hopefully these spots willmaybe, maybe, throw us a sponsor
.
Speaker 1 (10:56):
Kohler Park is also a
really good one, the Airship
Coffee.
You have to literally walk tothe coffee shop to get there at
Kohler Park and that's a reallycool spot if you're here.
Speaker 2 (11:07):
Yeah, I live there at
George Park too.
Speaker 1 (11:08):
Now that you say that
, yeah, we could probably go, we
really could.
