O empreendedorismo corre-lhe nas veias e desde cedo se dedicou a perceber como a tecnologia podia alavancar as soluções para os problemas que via à sua volta. Depois de mais de uma década de carreira com decisões "intencionais mas não totalmente conscientes", co-fundou duas organizações: a AthenaDAO e a Portuguese Women in Tech, ambas para, de uma forma ou de outra, consciencializar para a igualdade de género através da saúde e da empregabilidade do setor tecnológico.
